”Kasumi, I feel as though you would benefit considerably from loosening up. That is to say, you needn’t develop rude habits but you certainly are free to speak your mind and pose requests and inquiries to your discretion,” Anniken said in response, interlocking her fingers behind her back. As she spoke, the Godfather bounced on the heels of her feet.
”…I suppose I don’t mind, but if we happen to find a lot of people responsible for these heinous crimes, I wish to have a portion of the blood. You may take a larger supply back to her, as I am aware Berry—yes, I am quite privy to whom I assign to missions and the vampires in the guild—is incapable of heavy combat-related missions at this time. That, and I think this is cute.”
Chuckling a little at the dynamic, she wondered if the two had been having lots of fun together. Perhaps she should give one of them some pointers? Or maybe just let them figure things out on their own.

Justice was not known for her smile as much as Anniken was. The latter sported a smile that could charm, ease the heart of and put at ease anyone who found themselves distressed. Winning affection, gaining trust—that smile was a unique weapon. Right now, her face belonged to her; the smile that ensued was its own, a little on the dry side but containing a warmth and level of charm in its own world. For she feasted her eyes on a sight she wanted to see for a long time—and that was Cheshire not suffering.
Wrapping her arms around her, she fluffed her hair and stroked her fingers through its onyx locks. Feeling the warm sensation permeating through her, she wondered if Cheshire would mind that her body was cold in the future. No, she was sure that her heart being healed would be a fine price to pay for turning into an ice cube.
”Yeah—I can deal with the accent and the cold, so long as you’re there to listen to our witty banter and keep us warm. I’m happy we don’t have to die on you, Chesh…” Cheshire Copeland | Post 13

Yup. There was the reaction she sought.
Call her meanspirited, or generous—whichever one was up to interpretation—but she enjoyed using her Magic. When she eliminated threats, she did not have to cause abnormal amounts of pain; she sent people off in an ocean of pleasure. Or if she did not like them, she made them eat themselves while enjoying the sensations derived from such a gruesome deed. For her allies, she could throw Magic at them and ease tension when it needed to be. And at the end of the day, it was always, always, always hilarious.
Feeling as though she diffused some of the heavy atmosphere associated with their return, she reciprocated Cheshire’s squeeze with her own hand. There was one thing she did not see in her vision, and thus Cheshire did not know about her turning Ivory as well. That needed to be explained.
”Oh, you see—something unexpected happened. The vampire, a surprisingly good person albeit incredibly odd, wanted me to turn Ivory as part of the deal. She agreed, and now she wants a drink. Won’t you humour her if she doesn’t drink too much? And maybe me, too?”

Without a doubt, the transformation cured her condition. No longer did she feel the constant discomfort in her chest, nor did she feel like using her Magic would strain her body enough to induce internal bleeding. She did not have to rely on scarce medication to tell her body to stop destroying its own organs, and she had no worries about it degenerating to the point of ceasing to function. Maybe it stopped beating, but it was still present and in a surprisingly healthy condition.
Most importantly, she did not need to worry her friends and family anymore. Though she wanted to shed tears, she stopped herself—crying was unbefitting of a Godfather.
Justice listened to the man speak. She took note of the rock near the radio, and she felt a chill across her skin when heeding the symbol. To feel a chill when being cold as the grave must have meant she dreaded the idea of giving him new ideas. Swallowing her saliva, she reciprocated the tug and squeezed Ivory’s hand.
Then she got the hell out of Dodge alongside Ivory, evading the path of the North Triangle. Ivory Volkov | Post 20

Flecks of confusion filled her eyes when she listened to the woman speak on personal uses for whatever piece of shit they happened to capture after it was all said and done. What possible reason did she have for that? A lot of different possibilities came to mind, and she did not want to resort to her Eye when she trusted her subordinates enough to tell her these things. Experimentation? Torture? Further questioning? What could she want?
”Mmm, I suppose I wouldn’t mind—so long as you tell me the reason why. After all, you heard me before—I do desire blood should it be impure. We kill those who are evil, and to waste what I use for sustenance, that would be terrible,” Anniken replied with a small shrug.
”However, if your reason happens to be legitimate, I do not mind letting you do it. Besides, now you have piqued my curiosity, and I wish to explore your reasons. Should they be too uncomfortably personal, it may impact my decision. I do need to eat, so unless it’s equivalent to that…” Kasumi Ito | Post 3

The more she looked at it, the more she failed to stifle her own laughter. Cheeks inflating to maximum capacity with air, she burst into laughter once the sight grew to be too much for her. Though she was certain there were malicious vampires in the world, she was glad they located one who seemed to be harmless—albeit a bit on the eccentric side of the spectrum. She doubted there were many animal lovers such as him who harboured a demonic heart, after all.
They lived in a strange world. It could be unforgiving a lot of the time, and it tried the wills and hearts of those living in it. But there were times when things went well—times where she was reminded of what she fought to protect. It seemed that the vampiric blood did not impede on that, and she owed it to the nature of the Demont line.
”It is truly an honour. And I am glad to be released from that endeavour, as I am certain there would have been several instances where we failed to inscribe it with the perfection needed.” Pushing herself up, she bowed her head appreciatively.

”You know it’s thriller! Thriller night! You’re fighting for your life inside a killer—thriller—tonight!”
With Ivory’s enhanced vocals, making a duet was an easy thing to do. No longer needing to carry her weight as well, Ivory held her own throughout their shared song and the vocals blasting in the background with them.
When they pulled into the garage, AJ remained within the vehicle for a little while longer. ”I have a strong feeling that she will. I enjoy yours, I wager the feelings shall persist~,” Justice replied to Ivory’s teasing. Checking if she still had her guns in her holsters, and if her swords had not skewered the fine seat she resided on, she ended up not exiting the car until a frantic Cheshire already peered into it.
There was a veritable look of danger in her eyes when she received that reception.
”What, these?” Justice said, waving her hand down the length of her shirt around the appointed area. ”Please, it was never this milkshake that brought the girls to the yard.”
And then she flicked her forehead with a low dosage of Pleasure magic. Ivory Volkov Cheshire Copeland | Post 2

”Oh, I’ve seen better days. I suppose right now I’m in the mood to tear off someone’s head and drink everything that spews from their neck stump.”
Anniken always had a greater penchant for brutality than Justice did. The latter was no pushover when it came to eliminating those who did the world harm, but the grisliest demises often came from Anniken herself. Currently, they both were active, but the individual speaking seemed to be the one who put the A in AJ.
”Dear sister, you could afford to be far more temperate when it comes to these matters. Foremost, we must confirm whether this is a crime caused by a specific individual, or if it is a different matter entirely. Should you hastily jump to the conclusion there is a culprit, then you narrow your perspective of the big picture,” Justice chimed in, making it appear as though the Godfather was talking to herself. Then again, she wasn’t secretive about the fact there were two souls in one body—she and her twin.

”Good.”
The moment Cheshire said she was ready, she ushered in the vision. While she refrained from spoiling things such as the meet up after the hunt, she sent her a prophecy. A prophecy of a pink-haired woman not recognizable as the Godfather, but in a position that illustrated who it was. Hanging from a ceiling by her feet, dripping blood droplets onto the forehead of a certain feline. Her witty banter between the two people hosted within her body, the lack of tension in the air. And the indecent context afterward that could not be described…
Then, Justice closed her Eye. It was over—a quick snippet of the future. Perceiving it was akin to being there, but being unable to affect anything or be heard. For Anniken and Justice, it was a little different. Housed in her mind, she tended to see it all at once and was able to select a prophecy she wanted to examine. It made their guild impossible to ambush, and it saved her many times—but there were times where she had inadvertent visions that caused suffering.

Even without the aid of her Magic, the sensation rippling through her in small jolts from the atmosphere and Ivory’s touch resulted in increasingly laboured breaths. Sinking closer to her partner’s form, she sought to return the gesture in the form of getting her frozen hands familiar with the woman’s body. Though she too was cold, she found herself not caring in the slightest degree. Warmth was nice and all, but cold was enticing.
Remembering the Demont patriarch’s existence with his outburst, she turned her crimson eye towards his figure. Eyes stretching wide with horror even as she kept her lips locked with Ivory’s own, her motions decelerated to a stop. With how cold she was, she was akin to a corpse or statue with her distinct lack of motion. Ivory would be able to discern she was alive, but awe-stricken.
For there was a vampire in the middle of the room spinning on his head.
Fast, too. Vampires were known for their immense speed and strength, and he poured all of it into the motion. With perfect balance, he threatened to take off from the ground akin to a helicopter if he had been more aerodynamic. Ivory Volkov | Post 18

”You know…”
Man, she really wanted to throw another diluted spell at her just to help her out. Or trace a finger across her skin in the most teasing manner she could manage, but for some reason, an invisible prohibition stopped her from executing such a gesture. Instead of that, Justice took a seat on the floor and crossed her legs.
”My Eye has the same consequences as your Magic. Not all the prophecies I have are benign. Some of them are horrible, grotesque things. Many of the world’s evils all at once, that have happened or will happen, seared into my mind whenever I activate it. Eventually you just grow jaded to it,” the Godfather explained, turning her attention upward briefly. ”But I’m content to tell you this isn’t one of them. Nah, for once in my life I’m seeing a vision that doesn’t bring me pain.”
Left eye taking on a familiar, patterned glow, Justice aligned her vision with the feline once more. Scratching her cheek with the back of her thumb, she continued.

Moving through the crowd, the Godfather wore a hollow expression on her face. Though she seemed to don a small smile, the look in her eyes suggested her mind resided elsewhere. The amount of resent and anger contained in the slits of her crimson eyes suggested she did not take kindly to the potential harm of those who lived in Shale Town. Her mind circulated thoughts about drinking the blood of all individuals responsible for the abduction until they were naught but dry husks. Not before humiliating them with the effects of her potent Magic, of course.
”Hello, Kasumi,” she said, keeping her greeting simple. It was not often the guild mistress herself attended missions with the guild’s soldiers, but this task literally hit home. Not only would the disappearances tear families apart and waste precious life, but it would sow the seeds of fear in the community. She had no intention of letting it go unsolved. Who better to take with her than the individual gnawing at mystery opportunities?

Indeed, she had no intention to allow Ivory to go through the same ordeal she did. When she felt the beginnings of her thrashing, she impulsively employed her Magic for the purpose of assuaging the agonizing sensation she felt. Effectively turning the pain she endured into pleasure, the sensation was bound to be sublime.
And she wasn’t wrong. Not even a little bit.
The wave of relief she felt when she witnessed the transformation and subsequent vitality returning to Ivory was eclipsed by the fervid blush obscuring the pallor of her face. It took a significant amount of mettle to not ask the male vampire to leave the room while she tended to a recently turned Ivory’s needs. Justice clung to the slivers of rationality lingering in her mind. Maybe.
…
…
Pressing her lips to hers once again, she shifted her weight forward. Though she wasn’t the heaviest individual in the world, she was bound to orchestrate them both being on the ground with her straddling the woman in kind. Pale fingers sifted through then onyx locks, and she only cracked her eyes open to peer into the crimson orbs to verify the existence of her lover. Ivory Volkov | Post 17

Girl, but all the…
The vehicle approached with Ivory in the driver’s seat and the Godfather deciding to take her position in the passenger’s side. Since they needed to stow the car away with the rest of the vehicles they collected over time, their first destination was the garage.
While, you hear…
The music blaring from the four-wheeled, lacrima-powered automobile grew louder with every few metres it closed in one the scene. The woman had a feeling someone was waiting there for them. Not because her Eye showed her, but because it was just a thing that she trusted she would do. The vampire reckoned she must have made her worry, but at least she knew what was going to happen.
A creature creeping up behind… you’re out of time!
The old CD she loaded into the car’s radio continued to blast, alerting the whole of Shale Town to their expected return as they progressed towards the garage. Justice had been quiet, probably because she was hammering her hand to the beat of random songs for the last mile and a half.
