Rules[attr="class","infomain"]
1. As we are mainly a freeform, story-focused site, we don't have a strict list of rules. You will have a great time here as long as you use common sense. Avoiding OOC drama, not stealing, respecting other members and staff, and differentiating in-character affairs from OOC ones, etc, will go a long way.
[break]
[break]2. Keep anything on board PG-13. If a scene gets too risque, kindly fade to black, or take it off board. This is to respect Proboards' TOS; we don't want to get reported.
[break]
[break]4. Avatar dimensions are 100x100 and the maximum signature dimensions are 500x250.
[break]
[break]5. We have no character limit, but make a separate account for each character. You are expected to remain active with all your characters. Do not make characters just to horde face claims.
[break]
[break]6. We are mostly a death-disabled site, but there are some areas that are supposed to be more "dangerous" than others where it will be enabled. Certain staff created quests may be posted directly in these areas. There will be certain bonus rewards to incentivize taking the risk and participating in these potentially fatal scenarios. Should a character die, the player is able to completely refund all of their Jewels and make a new character with it.
[break]
[break]7. We don't have a word count minimum, but one-liners are prohibited. The rule of thumb is to give your partner, or partners, something to work with, regardless of if you have an minimalistic approach to writing or otherwise. With that said, if you receive lengthy posts with more fluff then content to actually reply to, you are not entitled to the same amount of textwalling in response. Use a spell check and aim for proper grammar.
[break]
[break]8. Don't godmode, powerplay, or metagame. This mostly translates to do not control other people's characters, do not do things outside of your character's realm of ability/power, and do not invoke knowledge they would not know in character simply because you know it out of character.
[break][break]
9. We have no activity checks. With that said, if you are inactive with your character and someone else wants your claims (face claim, canon claims), then you may lose your claims.
