A.J. Godfrey is the eldest daughter of Everest Godfrey, the previous matriarch of the Godfrey family. Since her birth, she has been groomed, trained, and expected to take over the family business even despite her reluctance. To reinstate order into a world filled with chaos and misery, she was to inherit the Godfrey family’s latest founded residence and guild—Odin’s Spear. First ensuring the survival of Shale Town and its residents, and then enforcing a concrete routine onto the denizens of the continent, it was on her shoulders to save what little remained of humanity from a progressive, painful end.

Now, she leads the guild after her mother’s retirement from the frontlines. Making deals with other settlements in exchange for protection, she coerces them into taking a cut of their inventory to enforce rules and order across the land. For this and their extreme countermeasures against defiance, they have been compared to a mafia.

Anniken comes off as a charismatic, dangerous enigma. It’s never clear what she’s thinking or where her morality lay; but she refrains from lying. This common personality easily could be considered extroverted, but has no qualms with bloodying her hands to send messages to people who won’t get in line with the agenda. Courageous, ruthless, resourceful, unnerving, she is not one who minds leading with a strong dosage of fear serum.

Justice, the other twin and the original owner of the body, has a distinct personality from this. In contrast to Anniken's skewed moral compass, the other Godfather tends to be straight-laced. Though she will kill for the greater good, she owes less of her disposition towards indulgence, sin, or lusts for power. Tending to come off as choleric and a tad melancholic in temperament, she resolves to use power to bring evil to its karmic end. It borders on the point of obsession. Self-sacrifice defines her, and there are times where she is pushed to choose the greater number over the smaller when it comes to saving lives should no other option be available.

Odin's Eye is a bloodline ability gifted to Anniken because of chance. A descendant of a supreme deity, she and her family has possessed untamed divine power throughout umpteen generations. In addition, they owe their allegiance to this divine patron, Odin, and his mark was left in the latest heir of the Odin's Spear dynasty thanks to his blood coursing through her veins. Tales of sacrificing an eye for unparalleled wisdom are prominent in recollections, and this fact has been cemented in her own right eye (or left for the other her). Blessed with the ability to instantly understand the structure and operation of intricate systems without the need of studying them or training, she can understand how everything works, their flaws, and how to fix them if they’re broken. This ability can be applied to both mechanical, biological and mystic systems, including people, objects, and magic. This even allows her to analyze the most magic and abilities of others to copy them, adding them to her own arsenal; even going as far as using her advanced comprehension to find more intricate applications of the ability. Direct observation of their brain results in faster acquisition, but generally must kill the target. Gradual understanding of the person can be done, but it is a slower process—however non-lethal. A few of the learned abilities in her arsenal include Pleasure Magic, Psionics, Time Erasure, and Divination.
