Captive[Close/Mission]

Upon reaching the compound, Kasumi noticed that there were a few gunmen remains though they do not seem to be entirely focused on guarding. They kept glancing at the direction of where the assault initially came from, irritated they don't get to shoot at something just yet. One of them spotted an eagle flying near the building and pointed which in turn caused everyone to look up in response.
It was a moment that Kasumi didn't hesitate to pounce upon. A single blow out of no where shook the gunner's brain completely unable to understand what just happened. His world had spun out of control and he had to take a moment to balance himself before he manage to take a look against their attacker. His eyes were blurry with pain and all he could see was a whirlwind of violet rushing through the scene sending his comrade flying to the ground every time it rammed into them. He struggled to pull himself together, shaking his head just as his eyesight regain sharpness. Strangely however the only thing he could see now was the underside of a boot closing in rapidly against his face. Darkness soon followed before he could fire even a single shot.
"Backyard clear. Currently moving towards the hostage room." Kasumi said to the radio before she made her move. Stealthily, she would make her way towards the room she had singled out beforehand. Peeking through the window, she could see several more armed guard waiting near the hostage who were tied onto the chairs. Seven hostages...with seven armed guards. Even with her enhanced speed, she doubted she could take all of them at once before one of them decide to riddle them with bullets...so her hand would reach out for the flashbang. She did not attack immediately however waiting for Ivory to join her first so thay they would be able to do this together.

Not only Ivory praised her for her ability, she had also given her solid advise on how to deal with the attack she had delivered. Although she would prefer not to get hit by such an attack at all it was definitely something she would have to look into in the future given how lacking she was in offensive capabilities. A deterrent of sorts like that famous person third's law. In return the purple head would nod in response even giving a rare genuine smile in response. She would offer her hand to shake as a formal gesture to signify the end of their sparring.
"Understood, I shall keep that in mind. That was a good fight Chief. I do hope to give you a better one in the future though. Maybe against your other takeover form?"Kasumi suggested.
Her interest had pique on what other shapes Ivory could take and their martial capabilities. As someone who strive to improve herself, she wished to be experienced against all type of fighters and conveniently Ivory's magic would be one of those style of versatile magic.

Upon being showered with compliment, Kasumi softly chuckled and shake her head. It wasn't that she thought Cheshire was wrong but moreso that she felt what she did was nothing special. It was just something she decided to put effort into based on the magic she was born with.
"Not at all, I'm sure I have a lot to learn from you Chesh."she replied humbly though she began to inspect the belonging of the thugs. Cheshire was the first to pick the thug's radio and so she listened in on how Cheshire responded to the radio transmission. It's a lot more witty than she would have put it earning her a chuckle in response. She can only imagined the shock look of the person on the other side of the radio. Kasumi would also nod to Cheshire's suggestion of taking one truck each.
When offered to do the same to the van Kasumi would politely declined, her head shaking once more. There was nothing she could think of that would have increase the grandeur of such masterpiece. Before they moved to each their truck however, she raise her hand to stop her. Her hand reached out inside of her suit to dig out communication device of her own.
"Do you have telepathy magic Chesh? If not, maybe we can use this to talk with each other?" she suggested while offering one to her. Should Cheshire decided to refuse, Katsumi would put them back inside her pocket to make her way towards one of the truck.

Blood and Bone[Ivory/Fight]

When her heel made contact with Ivory, a small smirk crossed her own lips for a second. Though she had been practicing that for some time there was not a lot of opportunity which allowed her to pull that off. As the purplehead withdraw her foot and take a step back she noticed that the atmosphere around Ivory had changed. That bad feeling she had felt from Ivory's punch earlier was there...no it was even worse than before. Clenching her teeth, she put her arm in a cross block manner as she fortified herself just before impact.
The girl was sent flying across the field before she landed on the ground though she rolled back into a crouching position, preparing herself in case Ivory followed up on another attack. Seeing that she didn't, Kasumi would lower her hands and pick up herself from the floor so as to dust herself.
"Nicely done. I don't think I can top that Chief." she replied. With that she would approach the Underboss, the fighting spirit she
had shown earlier was blown away too. Her face didn't look dejected or anything however...in her opinion she had given all she can on this
spar of theirs.

When the godfather voices her complain about the temperature, she cannot help but be inclined to agree. Even moreso for her who had decided to wear her regular suit for the mission. The portable fan that came with the car helped a little but still it was too hot. Putting the video away, the girl began taking off her coat and even unbutton a few of her shirt underneath. As there were nothing but endless sands all around them, she didn't worry too much about hitting something.
"It is, yes. There's a bottle of water on the back if you need Madam."came her reply as she reach out to take one for herself and offering the other for Anniken, though she would put it back should the girl choose not to receive it. Hydration is important in places like this so she indulged herself by drinking some. Soon though she could see from her rear view mirror of the creatures in question indicating their closeness to the van.
"Speedy litter bugger ain't they?"she stated, still somewhat surprised that they were able to catch up with the truck's speed. Her hand would take out the remote switch for the vehicle as she wait for them to get closer. In order to ovecome this, timing was crucial. As soon as they were within reach, the "cargo" was ejected from the vehicle by the spring mechanism she had installed in first place. The crates would flew in their direction and at first it looked as if they would be able to dodge them with ease...until the crates exploded from impact and deliver stunning shockwave towards the dune runners in the attempt to slow them down for Anniken to shoot.

Although the bandits have the advantage in numbers, it was greatly offset by the overconfidence they felt when they see their adversary is of the fairer sex. Afterall, why shoot when they can simply knock her out and perhaps use her for whatever sick purpose their mind can conjure. One of them was already knocked but it looks like she's struggling with the other...which means that was just a mere fluke right?
Or something along those lines Kasumi presumed their thought was as they brandish their sharp implements on her. Mostly to intimidate her to stand down...people generally don't want to get stab. But the girl would catch the knife's blade and even offered a swift strike to the wielder's throat, letting them gasp for air before sending his head crashing against the side of the truck. The other would come in with a huge haymaker directed towards her but was stopped cold as the girl use the man's strength against him to deliver a hard hitting counter punch. Even as he crashed down to the ground, the girl had already turned their attention to the remaining thugs.
Four more...
One of the remaining thugs decided to charge down the girl to bring the fight to the ground but was rewarded with a knee towards the jaw for his effort before a swift hook to his head followed, the impact rattled the brain in his skull and he was out before he could reach the ground. Another had decided to use the spanner to slam her but missed as the girl weaved back from the impact and swiftly received a nutcracker in return, her kick slammed hard against his crotch and leaving him clutching in high pitched voice about his manhood. Another try to sneak around her to grab her from behind and for a moment he succeeded...until he received a bloodied nose for his trouble as she bashed her head back against him. Turning her attention towards him, she immediately take hold of the spanner he was clutching and whack him across his head, as well as the one who she delivered nutcracker earlier.
At this point, the remaining thug knew that his crew had bitten off more than they can chew and pull out a pistol her. Telling her to drop the spanner and the blade, the girl complied and drop them to the ground. She kept moving forward however and the thug, nervous as he was had an itchy trigger finger...inadvertently releasing a few shots in her direction. Only at this point that Kasumi had decided to use her magic to reinforce herself, catching all the bullets aimed towards her direction and swiftly knocked him out with a pure straight with the other.
Realizing that she was watched over, Kasumi looked up at the catgirl in question before giving her a sheepish look.
"Sorry about that, they touched my butt." she said as while dropping the caught bullets on the ground. Rubbing her hands together she decided to look back at the thugs she had taken care of when one of their radio crackles, it seems to be a regular interval check on
the state of delivery.

Kasumi nodded slightly as Ivory offered her own alternative option in return. She did not know about Ivory's form as an eagle and it was definitely a better suggestion than what she had in mind. Though she didn't like the idea of the sniper aimed towards Ivory...her reports didn't mention anything about a mage on their side so the likelihood that the sniper weapon was a holder equipment was quite low. A nod of approval followed as she brought the radio again to her mouth.
"Commencing mission. Start off the distraction Hunter 3."she ordered before putting the radio away. Although there really was no need to use codename for this mission as she was sure they wanted to everyone to know the Odin Spear did this, it just felt natural more natural that way. No sooner than her order was given, gunshot could be heard from the other side of the vicinity which instinctively caught the attention of all bandits within the vicinity. Rushed footsteps and barking dogs followed as they attempt to pinpoint the location.
"I'm ready Chief."Kasumi told her as she channeled the magical energy into her leg, giving her the boost needed to increase her leg speed. Once Ivory had changed form into an eagle, she would wait until the eagle flew towards the window to cover her entrance before tearing off across the open field. By then most of the bandits would have their attention focused onto their fellow members but she was ready to take out any remaining few that decided to remain in their position.

Still breathing heavily, Kasumi nodded in response towards Berry's question. In addition to pain, her body felt sore all over but the doctor's healing technique was already starting to work it's miracle on her too. The warmth glow that spread over her body was a welcomed feeling for her.
"You really had us worried back there."the woman added, voicing the feeling they both felt while watching her earlier. It was painful to watch and she even thought to tell the purplehead to pull back halfway but didn't. She did feel a small amount of satisfaction to see the machine got smashed to pieces...it was the very reason she got caught in first place.
"My clothes have bullet resistant properties in first place...though it wouldn't have let me survive that on it's own. I simply enhance that property to match the turret's firepower."she explained, though her eyes are now focused on the door with the label storage
on it.
"Thank you for your healing Miss Everett. You can increase the number of fans you have by another one." she added lightheartedly to see if she can induce the reaction she had seen earlier. Her hand would grab on the knob of the door before she open it's inside...which to her surprise was well lit. There were multiple shelves various medical equipment and the temperature regulator seems to be working to maintain the room's temperature.
"This place must have it's own power supply." she said as she walk inside, bringing the woman with them.

Though the girl meant moreso tricking her into venting stress onto him, she decided to to accept his interpretation of it for now. It was sort of funny however to think this was how she managed to find out what kind of magic she wields. And perhaps a bit of reckless on her part especially consider she had a suspicion of Orion's magic before.
"Perhaps. Although I think you would benefit more from that than me."Kasumi replied cheekily at Orion's suggestion of meeting the other. Though she wouldn't think she'd be doing it anytime soon she can do with a change of pace she suppose. When he waved, Kasumi nodded as well and make her own way back to the guild. It took her a few second that he used her real name instead of that nickname however...well, hopefully that will
be more of a habit in the future.
"Likewise."
Thinking back, there never really was a resolution for her debt. Still, after a fight like that she didn't feel like chasing after him either. She supposed this is one debt she can write off...though if he pull like this next, she would be sure to jot it down.

When Orion offered her his hand, the girl's eyes widen slightly as she hesitated for a bit before she finally take it. Now that her mind was all but cleared up, it finally dawn on her what Orion tried to pull. Her cheek flushed slightly in response though she look away so as not to look at him in the eyes.
"I suppose you're not so bad either. You had me fooled back there...though I would not recommend doing it again next time." she stated before withdrawing her hands. When Orion looked into the sky as well, she followed suit before glancing at her wrist. They certainly had been fooling around for quite some time. Granted, now she was less stressed about it.
It was not often that she felt a sense of defeat yet satisfied at the same time. Normally it would be accompanied by disappointment over herself but this time she did not feel such thing. In fact, it made her more motivated now that she was able to see a wall for her to try and surpass on.
"I would not mind sparring with you again someday Orion Prima. Though preferably with less trickery involved."

Kasumi's strike never did reach Orion. No, she knew that it would be unlikely to hit him in first place but that didn't her stop her from trying. Her eyes widen slightly as she noticed the hand gesture made by Orion before everything turned white. It was like taking a dip in boiling hot water as her body felt pain all over. The force of the blast had immediately sent her tumbling onto the ground.
When she finally get up from the wreckage she landed in, Orion's words barely registered in her head. It wasn't until he repeated the question again did she catch them this time though it still took her a moment to answer. Exhaling a bit she reluctantly nodded before pulling herself back up.
"I suppose I am...for now at least."she quipped back. Though this time she was no longer in a fighting stance, brushing the dust that covered up part of her clothes.

Mental, absolutely mental. That was the look the woman gave her when she voiced her plan. Even Berry appeared reluctant to go with it she wouldn't blame them. The smarter approach would have been to take another route towards the storage room but the woman had infiltrated this place before them and couldn't find any route like that. So as much as she expressed distaste over her own plan,Kasumi decided to go with it. Giving them a small smile of assurance in response, she take a deep breathe.
"Got it. Wish me luck." she said almost in cheerful manner. And with that she would head turn around the corner and face the turret head on. Her arms were raised in a cross-like manner as soon as the turret caught sight of her. The whir of the machine as it get ready to baptize her with red hot lead followed. A moment passed before Kasumi charged at the same time just as the roar of the gunfire started.
As opposed to piercing her, the bullets bounce was deflected by her coat before clanging as they bounced off the floor. Still, that did not mean she was able to march over to the turret easily. Every foot she took felt like she was running straight into a battering ram. The coat may have become bulletproof under her spell but her body underneath had to weather the impact, as bruises would form all over her. White hot pain seared her body all over but her spell somehow managed to withstand through it all. One of the bullet slipped through the gapsof her defense and bouncing off the temple of her head yet also rendering a cut above her eyebrow. If left be, it would bleed onto one of her eyes blinding her but by this time, she was already directly in front of the turret.
An upward kick followed smashing the contraptions with enough force to send chunks of metal pieces everywhere before followed by a chopping punch, shutting up the device completely. The hallway fell silent....safe for the heavy breathing of the purple-head mage.

Well that certainly solved the mystery that she had been pondering upon back then. Even Kasumi was quite surprised that her fist made contact with Orion but she played it off as if she had meant to do so all along. Though it was quite amusing to hear the choice she picked was the very slayer magic that Orion possessed. What wasn't amusing however was the lightning attack that followed. Immediately the girl raised her arms in a cross manner upon the impact.
A torrent of lightning that enveloped her crashed against the fortification she had put onto herself. She could already smell the singe of her clothes after being treated to that lightning strike. The girl exhaled in response as she switch to a more defensive stance but her limbs barely followed her mind.
Looks like that lightning affected me more than expected...
Despite that, she remained undaunted...in fact Orion can even see a trace of a smirk on her normally neutral face. The girl would leap forth to unleash a superman punch right at him once more.
"So you've been hiding this under your sleeve Old Man Prima?"
