Orion had just finished the mission, and now he was just lounging about around the village. It was apparent that the thieves had successfully gotten away before any of the village authorities arrived. They had asked why the wizards hired did not capture the thieves. His response: it was not part of the mission objective. Orion was a man that stood up for what was right (for the most part), but he was not going to do something he was not paid to, and what other people were paid to do. The officials should have come faster, did their jobs more efficiently, instead of taking their sweet time. Orion's report to them had been timely, so they can't even blame him for that.
"Stupid, all of them," Orion huffed, inhaling the cigarette he was currently smoking. The man had been stressed lately. Too many questions. Too many missions. Too many dangers lurking around. Orion had almost wished he had lived a shepherd's life. Maybe a barkeep. But then he'd bankrupt his own business if he was to own a bar. He'd drink all of his booze without paying.
The land was flat, and the farms were peaceful, so when Orion heard something behind him, he did not react much besides glancing back. He recognized the person approaching, and only smiled and waved.

It was only through an episode of muddy wrestling with with pigs that Kasumi appreciate the joy of wearing clean clothes. Any traces of the stench she suffered had begone through intensive scrubbing and expensive toiletries. She hoped that this would be the last time she would have to suffer such embarrassment...there was no way she's gonna do this kind of job anytime soon. When she asked the farmer in question on Orion's whereabouts however, she was quite surprised to hear that he had left and immediately chase tracked down.
Fortunately it didn't take long for her to do so as the man can be spotted smoking by the edge of the farm. The numbers of cigarettes lying on the ground were a few which means he had been here for quite a while. Well, she didn't want to disturb him too much so she would walk up straight towards the man.
"Good job with the pig recovery. You've improved my impression of you slightly." Kasumi started as she look over the farmland. Such a peaceful village. She could just relax here and let her stress bleed away. While she's still a city girl, she would not mind renting a cottage to stay over during the holidays.
"I won't beat around the bush. I'm here for the cut you owe me." Kasumi continued, turning towards him. The farmer had given them both equal bags of jewels earlier and she haven't had the opportunity to ask him since then.

"Just slightly?" Orion grinned, his thoughts turning towards the bag of jewels he recieved from the farmer. He had been the first one to grab his reward, and immediately went to the bar that was really close. He had opened the bag, and...emptied it to pay for his tab. He chuckled nervously to himself, unsure of how to go about this. On one hand, he owed the young woman in front of him. On another hand, he had no money to pay her.
He composed himself, instead turning towards the farm. Maybe he could grab another mission. A quick one with an easy reward, and then pay off Kasumi. That way he can move on with his life without another wizard looking to settle his debts. He had more than enough of those around. Orion was slowly paying off most of them. Some of them. One or two, if he were being honest to himself. The rest were still looking for him with murderous intent.
"Ah...well..." Orion started, not willing to look at Kasumi. Suddenly, he thought of an idea, "don't have the money, princess." he shrugged. "Plus, it must not have been that expensive, right?" Oh he was so going to rile her up, "But yeah, no, I don't have the cash. You can move on now."
Orion could not help it, but he continued, "I'm sure you have better things to do than harass someone for some petty cash." he made the shooing motion at her. If he was lucky, maybe the young woman would stomp off in rage, never to be seen again. If he wasn't, well, he'll come to that when it happens.

Upon hearing that Orion could not pay the cut he promised, Kasumi's expression hardened. Were it be some paltry amount she would probably just ignore it but such was not the case this time. Her nickname may be Princess but she was not made of money nor were she associated with royalties of any sort.
"I didn't think you were the type of man to simply run away from his debt. And quit calling me that." she exhaled slightly. She knew she should have snatched both bags back then but she decided against it. Now she felt like a fool and even worst the man made a shooing motion towards her. Like she was a stray cat or something....the nerve!
"Yes, you're right I do have better things to do right now."
Cracking her knuckles, she channeled the magical energy throughout her body. While she normally use them for defensive purpose, this time she felt pissed enough to indulge it for once.
"I'm going to kick your ass."
And with that, the purplehead would launch a devastating kick straight towards his shin.

"Hey, calm down!" Orion felt his leg almost crack at the force the young woman sent his way. He was surprised by her quick action, and her strength as well. Although Orion had not seen her use magic during their mission, his actual guess for her magic had been some sort of plant-type, or maybe solid script. Enhancement was a different sort, although it could just be something she could do on the side, and had something nastier planned for him.
Orion leaped backwards, creating a gap between the both of them. Better to have the space for an opportunity to dodge the next time she tries something. And from what he could see, Kasumi seemed intent in releasing her frustrations at him. This was what he wanted, right? Distracting her from the money? Well he got it. However, it was more than what he had bargained for.
"Alright, come on then! Show me what you got, princess," he had money, and this seemed to be working. All he needed was to rile her up even more, and maybe she'd forget about the money. He'd even throw a curve-ball at her, "That tickled!" Orion grinned, coating his hands and feet with electricity- black in his case, "I'll give you another free shot, make it count!"

Kasumi's shoe struck hard against the man's shin making a satisfactory sound upon contact. Normally she would be calm and collected but the pig ordeal had brought much stress of her own. Orion's attitude towards her only added to it as well, even after he promised that he would pay for the book in first place.
"You sure jumped back far for something that just tickles." Kasumi retorted. The fact that he didn't bother to hit her back was annoying however as Orion even offered to give her a freeshot. In first place her magecraft was lacking in power so she relied more on precision. Still, he coated himself with electricity in preparation against her coming assault. But even more annoying than that was the nickname he insisted using when calling her.
"Stop calling me Princess!"
This time, Kasumi would launch a front kick straight towards his stomach. Her current techniques lack any form of discipline as she was just venting her frustration rather than treating it like a real fight.

Orion did not rise to the bait by the young woman, instead, taking the hit as he had promised to do. If this were a serious fight, Orion might not have toyed with her much and actually fought back. He was not sure how strong she really was at this point, only getting a glimpse of a single spell she seemed to be utilizing, but Orion was sure he could handle it. Him tanking the damage once again was proof that despite her strength, Orion was made of tougher stuff.
”You hate your nickname, princess?” Orion remarked, wincing at the damage done, but still alive and very much ready to keep taking more hits. Catharsis, they said, was unleashing negative emotions through physical means. He was doing the young woman a favour, and of course his wallet as well.
With a smirk, Orion continued, ”I’m guessing you’re running out of steam, huh?” the quirked lip never left his face as he continued, ”Maybe you need more training. You know, I know a wizard who’s pretty experienced. Namely me.” The god slayer goaded Kasumi, ”But then I’m not sure if you’re strong enough to be trained by the likes for me...” he trailed off, as though critiquing Kasumi’s magic and power when in fact, Orion needed her to slowly forget her debt, and just focus on trying to beat his face in.

"Running out of steam? I can do this all day." Kasumi replied as she gets ready to move on the offense once more. At this time a thought occured to her...why wouldn't he retaliate? Her actual fighting technique was nothing like the sloppy one she used now, driven by nothing but pure aggression. Was it because of curiosity, that he wanted to see what else she can pull before making his moves? Or was he preparing magic of his own that would only activate after a certain amount of time? Regardless she could not help but become more cautious with every hit she delivered.
"Don't flatter yourself. So far you only show that you can take a hit." she snapped back. Harder, she definitely need to hit him more so that he would take her more seriously. He didn't even tried to guard against her attack as his stance was full of openings. Her martial technique taught her to wear her opponent down and while that usually serve her well in most occassion, this time it clashed against her desire to put him down flat on the mat. This time she would deliver a straight directly towards his body.
"Or can you not fight without relying on that sword of yours?"

Orion was I happy at the comment, but he let it slide. He was taking damage, and did showcase that he could take quite the hit, but that really was nothing to be proud of. There are quite a few wizards who could take more than what Orion could; defense-based they called themselves. Orion was no defence mage. He was the polar opposite of one, but there was a slight problem.
”Don’t tempt me, princess, Orion grunted as he took another hit from the young woman, ”I don’t think you are ready for what you’re trying to tempt out of me,” The power of a God was not something to be taken lightly, especially since he had made strides with his recent training. Light cackled around his whole body now, although still tamed by Orion’s self-control.
With a smirk, Orion shouted, ”You wish you could see my sword in action!” he wiggles his eyes brows at the young woman, before continuing, ”but really, I don’t think you can handle it at all! You’re still too...green...” Orion made his assessment, and honest but very brutal one. He motioned with his hand, asking for Kasumi to try hitting him one more time.

Despite taking a few more blows from her strikes the man still didn't retaliate against her. He was definitely putting on air and for a justified reason. Like a damn oak tree he simply wouldn't fall down even under her repeated strikes. Though the analogy she just thought at that moment gave her an idea.
"Is that so? I think you're just full of yourself."
Earlier, she had attacked from random angles to probe his defenses but since Orion didn't even bother to do so then it would be better to focus all her attacks on one spot. That comment about her being too green hit home as well and her expression changed slightly. Like an archer nocking back an arrow, Kasumi pulled back her fist before driving it right back into his body. This time she made sure to attack the same precise spot she hit earlier with her straight. The lightning that crackles around his body was concerning but as long as it didn't electrify her, she only kept note of them.
"So it's just for show then is it? To impress the ladies?" she taunted back in response. If she couldn't bring out some sort of response from him soon...well, she can only imagine what the others would say seeing her beating up a man who simply endure through her attacks.

Orion laughed as he left the attack miss him completely. It would not be fun at all if he kept letting her take her frustrations out at his being. He was getting tired of taking the damage after all. He was bruised, and probably will be sporting black and blue tomorrow, but he’ll manage. For now, it seems like his tactic was working. The young woman had completely forgot about his debt, and is now more focused on her anger towards his character. It was working better than he expected.
”It’s definitely not for show, but you’re not my type so...” he trailed off, grinning at the young woman, as she missed her attack. She would definitely not be happy, most likely thinking he would not move from his spot once again.
”See? I can dodge whenever I want,” Orion chuckled, holding his hand out once again and gave her the universal motion of: come at me bro. ”come on then, try again! Maybe this time I won’t dodge and you can actually get another hit in!” Orion laughed, as he waiting for Kasumi to attack once again.

Kasumi's fist struck completely nothing but thin air at the last second. At first she blinked in confusion before realizing that Orion had dodged her attack the very last second. Instead of getting pissed off however she smirk slightly, figuring that while he may not act like it but her assault had started to take a toll on him.
"Oh? What's this? I thought my attack barely tickles Old Man Prima."Turning around to face him, she take a slow almost deliberate approach as she circle around her partner. Channeling the magical energy throughout her body, she weaved mana into her skin so as to make it more durable against any incoming assault assault. Then without warning she would leap straight into him before delivering a straight right across his
face. She then immediately pull back her hand in response.
"Or could it be that you have started to grow senile~?"she teased again, even making the come on gesture with her hand to beckon him to attack.

Orion was not laughing now. He had not been paying attention, and ceremoniously paid the price for it. The man had been too focused on taunting the young woman, and not paying attention at all to his surroundings. The attack hurt, and did more damage than what her normal attacks had been doing for the past few strikes. This only fueled the anger bubbling beneath the surface. The prideful god within god slayer now slowly took over.
"Oh, not you've done it." With a roar, Orion coated his whole body with black lightning, appearing almost demonic, yet had the presence of divinity. "God Force." Orion grinned.
Without pause, the god slayer drew in a breath, pooling his magic into his lungs, before expelling it with immense force, "Lightning God's Bellow!"
The god slayer was enraged, his magic erratic, and his grin: maniacal.

Well that certainly solved the mystery that she had been pondering upon back then. Even Kasumi was quite surprised that her fist made contact with Orion but she played it off as if she had meant to do so all along. Though it was quite amusing to hear the choice she picked was the very slayer magic that Orion possessed. What wasn't amusing however was the lightning attack that followed. Immediately the girl raised her arms in a cross manner upon the impact.
A torrent of lightning that enveloped her crashed against the fortification she had put onto herself. She could already smell the singe of her clothes after being treated to that lightning strike. The girl exhaled in response as she switch to a more defensive stance but her limbs barely followed her mind.
Looks like that lightning affected me more than expected...
Despite that, she remained undaunted...in fact Orion can even see a trace of a smirk on her normally neutral face. The girl would leap forth to unleash a superman punch right at him once more.
"So you've been hiding this under your sleeve Old Man Prima?"

Orion saw the smirk on the young woman, and he could not help but grin. This one had spunk in her, and he decided not to pursue his anger any longer. A wizard like this one needed to be nurtured. Unlike the regular run-of-the-mill wizards, Orion saw Kasumi as one who has the potential to rise up high if she were to put effort in training herself. It was not everyday that someone would keep a smirk even at the face of possible danger.
"You should be lucky that I like you." Orion quipped, still covered in his godly shroud that bordered the demonic, "However, you should know when you face someone who you cannot beat."
With a snap of a finger, Orion forced the remaining electrical energy around Kasumi to implode, "Detonate."
There was no escaping it, sacrificing the stun effect for a much higher damage was always worth it, especially when he was trying to prove a point. With that, Orion held up a hand, "Are you ready to stop?" he asked with a hint of sincerity.
