Woooo! More members!

I love that you've already given a nice explanation on Kaida's thoughts and background on the guild itself. And it's nice to know she views it as a family that she can rely on. Yes, most are all criminals, but everyone is in the same boat and look out for each other no matter what. Sovereign may be young and immature, but that doesn't mean he won't fight for his guild and make sure they progress onto bigger and better things. 

I'd firstly like to know a few things to iron out our plots, like how long Kaida has been part of Quatro Cerberus and her relations with the previous guild master and Sovereign. Does she enjoy doing missions that involve killing, stealing or simply blowing things up? And would she be okay if Sovereign makes a few requests for her to go on missions searching for magical artefacts etc? 

I think Sovereign would really trust Kaida, knowing that she cares for the members but also has a firm hand when the time comes. 

Also, did if Kaida joined a while back, maybe the previous guild master could have searched for her after hearing rumours of an oddly mutated lizardwoman with strange abilities. He might have seen how she was practically ostracised by her own people and could have then offered for her to join the guild. Obviously you're free to choose how you joined, I'm happy with whatever and just offering suggestions ;D 

Kaida Lux

Sovereign landed softly, as if the winds gently let him down as the fabrics of his clothes swayed side to side.His duplicates also swarmed around him, standing still like statues as they awaited their next orders. Hearing Anniken compliment him made him smirk, but only because he felt somewhat embarrassed by it. Nobody ever complimented him with regards to his combat ability or magic, it was usually just confusion or annoyance. But coming from someone with such amazing skill with the sword, he would take the compliment and cherish it.

With no time to reply, he simply watched as the ray of light slammed into the ground where Anniken once stood. What was most peculiar was that she was no longer there, and he saw a streak of dazzling blue magic dart across to the wisps in a matter of seconds. It didn't strike her at all, her reflexes were incredible.

Sadly for Sovereign, he was not so sharp on the ball. Although he managed to avoid the damage, his clones had been completely wiped out, the ethernano they were composed of simply vanishing into nothing as the light burnt it from existence. Sovereign leapt out the way, tumbling along the dirt before pushing himself up. It wasn't as elegant as before, but he had a window of opportunity to return the attack, or rather, a twisted replica of it.

Ethernano particles swirled around his feet, and he raised his arms in the air as it rose to form into his own laser of black light. It tore through the air, making a distorted ripping sound as it cut into the wisps right after Anniken had struck it with her blade.

The amount of damage it had received so quickly had caused numerous wisps to fizzle out, and there was no longer enough to keep it whole in the size it was. Instead, it divided into two smaller masses, one heading after Anniken and the other after Sovereign. Both formed into a linear harpoon shape, aiming to skewer the two.

So the more I read into Kin's history and posts, the more similarities I see between her and Sovereign. They both like to put on this mask of playfulness, tricking people and playing games while acting innocent and oblivious to everything around them. But of course, they're much smarter than how they make it out to be, and are observing everyone's actions and what they say. 

I think if these two met, they'd instantly bounce off each other. Two very witty people who could tag together to play pranks and wind people up. On missions, they may come across some really terrible people, that they both despise equally. I'm imagining them both joking around while the enemy is laying beaten on the floor, very confused as he tries to crawl away. But Sovereign and Kin could both swing a kick out at him at the same time. 

These are just the first thoughts that popped into mind, so let me know what you think! :)

Cascading down like a glittering waterfall, the wisps pummelled into the earth and anyone caught in the area. Anniken took the brunt of the attack, bracing herself through the swarm of wisps before striking firmly with her blade. It sliced through the air, coming into contact with a bunch of them as they hissed and screamed in response.

Sovereign had managed to avoid it completely, his clones' bodies flickering with shadow for a second as they threw him back like a slingshot, as he soared through the air, his body spun like a dancer as magic build up around him. Majestically gaining his balance and clasping his hands together, more mirror images of himself would form, except these ones were completely black like shadows. In mid air, he and the shadow-selves thrust their arms forwards, creating a sinister duplicate of the wisp swarm, consisting of purple and black wisps. It, too, charged forwards and clashed with the original one, dealing damage before dissipating.

Sovereign then landed on the ground, the shadows retreating into nothing before his perfect duplicates returned to his side once again. "That's brilliant news!" he exclaimed upon hearing Anniken, "Let's finish this thing off and head after her."

Damaged from both their attacks, the wisps would retreat suddenly to the other side of the clearing, pressing close to the ground and moving around like the ocean. The twinkling grew louder, and the humming sound from before began to build up. Instead of an explosion however, an arc of light blasted from the mass towards Anniken, the concentrated force scorching the earth and tearing apart the buildings as it would then slowly make its way to Sovereign.

Welcome to Quatro Cerberus, you da first member I have now so I'm very happy! Definitely join the open thread I already have up to start with, will be very useful in just getting to grips with your character and what Sovereign thinks of them (vice versa). 

Perhaps it was Sovereign's older brother (the OG guildmaster) who actually scouted Kibi and asked her to join the guild. Maybe she was in a tough spot before, people found out about her wolf powers and he offered her a safe place to stay. Things then changed, and he became more wicked and could have encouraged Kibi to use her werewolf abilities more but in quite a controlled environment. 

Now that there's been a shift in power, it might leave her wondering if she should stay or not. But I promise that Sov will persuade her that she is a valuable asset to the guild and might even feed a few lies, convincing her its not safe for her to leave the guild since she has such dangerous magic. 

Sovereign might already know her thoughts of her own magic, the conflict between good and evil. Although he cares for his members, he wants them to be able to survive on their own, and he thinks that the wolf will be the best bet for Kibi. He'll be subtle about it at first, maybe even suggesting she focuses on the mood aspect of her powers to benefit others. But when the time comes, his attitude will switch and he'll ask her to bring out the beast. 

She could be the kind of person he sends on missions to seek and destroy, giving her the missions that require a brutal and violent approach to get the job done quickly. These are the first thoughts I've had, so I'll wait for your response before we go any deeper! <3

The two wasted no time in pursing their target, dashing as fast as they could down shady alleyways and back streets, always catching a glimpse of the light at the other end as it flickered away. Did it know they were being chased? No matter what way they turned or ran, the lights seemed to be one step ahead. Maybe he was just overthinking it, but it was as if they were the ones leading Sovereign and Anniken to a location they wanted.

Sovereign tried to understand what the duplicates were telling him, but the images seemed too unclear for him to make any hasty judgements. He would simply have to make last minute decisions and go with the flow. But nothing right now seemed normal, it was just one question after another, but if Anniken truly does recognise this magic and knows who it belongs too, that changes everything. 

At a final turn, Sovereign would slow his pace and walk calmly to the large clearing they had arrived at. It was a residential area, except some parts were still under construction so the area was rather empty in terms of buildings and people. Except for the Sovereigns. 

One by one, figures stepped out from the shadows from various parts of the area, a glint of gold flashing on their face as they approached Anniken and Sovereign. "You said they were here?" He would ask, and 6 other voices spoke back to him at once, "Yes. We saw them all. They were here just a second ago."

Sovereign was so accustomed to his clones that he forgets other people may be wary of ominous figures randomly approaching them at times, and he never explained the spell to anyone because it was rather self-explanatory. They all headed to him, the group of duplicates surrounding Sovereign as their eyes flickered like a candle. They all looked in different directions to locate the wisps, stepping further into the area as their heads turned side to side. 

But it seemed the lights were no longer hiding, as a peculiar thrum of power began to radiate from one of the buildings in the distance. A light so bright began to shine out the cracks that all Sovereign's covered their eyes, and then, the high pitched hum turned into an explosion. Panels of rusted metal went flying in all directions, crashing to the ground and colliding with other nearby buildings. Sovereign was struck by a tire, but the duplicates took the initial brunt of its impact. A swarm of small orbs then shot up into the air, rising from the exploded shack and amassing together into a single organism as they lit up the sky and flew up. 

It didn't hesitate to attack, spinning around rapidly before dive bombing in Anniken and Sovereign's direction. Despite its viciousness, the sound it made as it moved sounded like twinkling stars, wind chimes swaying in the wind.

Hi Broke! Cheshire definitely seems like quite a closed off and cold character, which makes sense considering her history with other guilds and her family. But how would she like to meet a strangely positive and slightly disturbing Sovereign Pale?

He's quite light hearted and tries to be optimistic with everything, and he loves pushing people's buttons, especially ones who act all dark and mysterious. Although a total wind-up, he truly doesn't mean to be totally malicious and would love to get on with pretty much everyone if he could. 

Sovereign has just begun a mission with the Odin's Spear guild master, so maybe that could be there first steps into knowing one another? He might simply be passing through the town, and bump into Cheshire in a place she hangs out. Sovereign is interested in pretty much anything, so whether its a library, pub or dungeon that Cheshire is hanging out in, he can pop up there too.
