Wow, looking into that guy’s history was almost like peering into an alternate reality for herself. At the end of the day, what little significance he had in the grand scheme of things led to naught but a display of her powers and capabilities more than anything else. Had he possessed recollection of the events; it would have resulted in them being privy to what happened. But like most people, he was useless.
After the area was pervaded by a thick, phantasmal miasma, Audrey forwarded a request to stick by her. Shrugging her shoulders in response, she made her way over to her with nonchalance. Morgan was still embracing delusion, Audrey elected herself as a meat shield and Jerusalem just wanted to grab her drugs. Sighing to herself, she flicked the interface once more and began providing more information.
Touching the globe, she changed its form to a model that displayed the entire interior, layout, and details about the building in great detail for them all to see; it even displayed where the group was at the time. Additionally, if one were familiar with pre-Calamity games, it would also put an accessible minimap in their peripheral, accessible and once more personally showing their location in correspondence to their placement. It even showed the spots drugs and other stashes were located, should any be left. It would trivialize the vision impairment, for the map displays made navigation a pinch despite it. Jerusalem was, as predicted, high as a kite. Probably a bit drunk, too. It was no wonder her disposition sat upon cloud nine, and the eccentric appealed to her. As well as the redhead’s lips. She would have liked to steer them in a direction of a different course of events, but even with her lack of inhibitions she doubted that it would be a good idea within this location. Even if ghosts somehow spooked her with her bastardization of divine and demon blood, she doubted she would have been nervous while this intoxicated. However, engaging certain things there was a bit of a turn off. Too many chances of being ambushed during.
Audrey wondered if he ranked among the workers, and the redhead shrugged in response. She didn’t want to devalue the albino’s opinion and thoughts, but she didn’t care what or who he was. The only thing she cared about was getting the leftover drugs from the place.
Making her way over next to Morgan, she peered into the darkness beyond. Her eyes adapted to the darkness enough to see what was below, and she focused on the body itself. Strange as it was trying to be a pragmatist while inebriated and in a certain mood, she decided to do her best to get a handle on the situation.
”I’m half demon because of my parents. I can vouch that it wasn’t us,” Jerusalem scoffed in response, manifesting what appeared to be a magical screen interface in front of her. Swiping it with her finger, she opened a massive data center that appeared in the form of a holographic blue globe. Touching a spot on it, she would bring up a file on the man who just offed himself in front of them, providing insight on who he was. Downloading it into her own mind, she tapped it again and transferred the information to both Morgan and Audrey.

Audrey verified her theory regarding them being the first on the scene. Though the redhead failed to dwell on the specific facts leading her to the conclusion, her thought pattern was along those lines. Following that, the albino proceeded to suggest splitting up. Tilting her head to the side, she wondered if she realized the gravity behind that cliché when it came to cryptic settings.
Morgan had the right idea about splitting up, a sentiment Jerusalem happened to share. Her words were a little too on point, however, since right after a man leaped out from behind the doors brandishing a knife.
Even while Morgan jumped into her arms, the redhead was already on the offense. One arm wrapped around the Red King; her other hand exhibited eccentric flames while she held it in the direction of the delirious man. Her mind was split between enjoying the feeling of having the woman’s curvaceous body pressed against her and the idea of lighting the junkie on certain death.
Sensing that he posed little danger to anyone but himself, she watched while he drew his blade across his own throat before tumbling into the abyss. Jerusalem shuddered in response, reveling in the sight of the man taking his own life and releasing a violent spray of gore from his windpipe. Morgan being latched onto her combined with the display, she felt heated. She cared little about whatever nonsense he spoke about mean apparitions.
Extinguishing the flames, she released laboured breaths. “Oh god…” Jerusalem articulated with heavy breath, before tugging Morgan closer and claiming her lips with her own. Audrey Iron Morgan Laroux | Post 3

Audrey provided the group with the details, and Jerusalem’s interest was piqued the moment the phrase “crack house” left the woman’s lips. The other subject mattered seemed less relevant to the redhead. News about spirits killing the folk who worked at the location, or the workers overdosing on their own product, none of it mattered to her. She might have killed them herself and took their drugs had the ghosts not done it for her.
Maybe that’s a bad idea… offing a supplier is never lucrative in the long-term…
Morgan dismissed the existence of ghosts, and Jerusalem looked at the fellow redhead with tired eyes. Though she refrained from speaking out of a lack of interest in expending the effort, she reviewed the details inside. A girl who lobbed fire who was originally a man, a half dragon who ate metal, and a demon demigoddess who hurled lightning, napalm, and waltzed her way into dreams; ghosts seemed to be the least farfetched concept to her. However, with little to verify their existence, she supposed she would let the environment do the talking.
On a brighter note, she brought the drug house portion of the spiel to light before sauntering into the mansion proper. Jerusalem followed her in with equal regard for her own well-being, lazy glances directed around her to survey the area. To her disappointment, the situation lacked the oomph associated with haunted areas for the time being. Everything within the place seemed dilapidated and rotten, but the deplorable condition of the abode appealed to her.

”Yes. It was very fun.”
There was no point in lying. Beating people up heralded entertainment, and her sadistic impulses fuelled her craving. Burning people alive produced greater amounts of euphoria superior to any drug, but strangling another living being with a sophisticated submission hold was pleasing too.
Crimson eyes gravitating towards the eccentric abode, her expression lacked enthusiasm. Her mind detoured from the paranormal to the different activities and instruments she could try on her friends behind the scenes. Maybe I can combine the feeling of asphyxiation she felt with the pleasure she felt the evening after. Mm, decisions…
The redhead had a general idea about her reason of being there. If tradition persisted, the group arrived in hopes of exploring the vacant confines in search of boons and magical artifacts. Jerusalem hoped the manor possessed a hidden stash of drugs.
”Why the hell would I know…” Jerusalem muttered in response, mild irritation evident as she brushed the blunt bangs almost barring sight of her eyes. The woman had no hand in Audrey’s plans or intentions regarding the abandoned home, perhaps a lack of interest the predominant culprit. Morgan Laroux Audrey Iron | Post 1

Sally failed to relate to the prospect of caring about a specific home. Moving several times in the past, it was hard to grow attached to any certain place. The redhead still listened to her words, however, and allowed her to confide in her.
Aspirations revealed to her, she listened while the Red King spoke about her previous intentions to rule the world. For Jerusalem, it sounded like the campaign her cousin ran in Odin’s Spear. The idea of Audrey wresting control of that ship amused her, causing her lips to form a wry smile as she looked on through distant eyes.
A small laugh followed, subdued and dry. Gaze shifting from its wayward position back to the woman who modified their position, she raised her arms in a shrug.
”When it comes to commitment, I don’t care about any of that. I can’t understand my feelings yet, they’re foreign to me. But I know for damn sure if and when I engage a relationship like that, it ain’t going to be monogamous. Maybe actual feelings are reserved for a select few, but I share the sentiment of wanting sexually charged freedom,” Jersualem declared. ”Never knew the point of romanticism or anything. But hell, maybe I’ll test the waters if I’m invited—I don’t have anything to lose anyway.” Morgan Laroux | Post 10

”That so…”
The redhead spoke in passing, expression difficult to read. People who knew little about her past regarded her in the same way, but not with the same amount of authenticity she felt from the other woman’s words. Though she had her doubts because of her upbringing, it almost seemed as though she might not care who she was even upon learning about her. She was not sure if she was ready to take that step yet.
A nod followed when she was asked to help Morgan to her feet. Obliging the request, she found herself pulled into an embrace with a plentiful helping of bosom. Crimson eyes widening for a moment, the orbs settled back into their original elongated state while she listened to her speak.
Matters of sentiment were a difficult thing for the redhead, and it showed in the delay following her words. Squinting, she seemed to be thinking of what to say in response. Outside of her parents, nobody held her and told her words like what Morgan said to her. It was foreign to her, and she felt them slice through the fog clouding her mind for a moment. Mist was a persistent force, however, and it regenerated as quick as it was severed.
”Dyeing it over and over is a pain in the ass. It’s hard to find trait mages, and it’s hard to keep finding things to dye it with,” she started, glancing to her side. ”I get what you’re saying. I’ll admit, I guess, that I have more people around me now that give less shits about who I was. I don’t like the idea of becoming a pariah wherever I go, but I’m starting to realize hiding is pussy shit. And, thanks for telling me all that.” Morgan Laroux | Post 9

It was too late for her to keep her powers at bay now.
Flames trickled along her hair, but caused no damage to the once amethyst mane. Instead, the localized inferno painted her hair red as though burning away whatever impurity she imbued her hair with in the first place. The fire vanished and left her with extensive, crimson locks. Their shade mirrored those of the woman below her, and she seemed somewhat peeved about their renewed existence.
Mussed and lengthier, she even acquired a peek-a-boo bang in the process. Blowing a cool stream of air against the bang, her expression remained dry and indifferent. Dispersing her wings, she landed back on the ground adjacent to her concussed friend. The mantle of burning chemical she donned diminished, and she took note of both Morgan and the deceased monster.
”…It’s the actual colour. When I use my power extensively, it just turns back to normal regardless of the dyes I put in it,” she added, rolling her shoulders into a small shrug.
”Before you ask, I dye it because I don’t want people recognizing me. It’s a pain in the ass if they do.” Morgan Laroux | Post 8

Jerusalem possessed great control over both elements she wielded. The Godfrey woman knew she could fire lightning at the beast and ground it before the electrical current spread into Morgan, but she decided against it. She had a reliable means of attacking without fire, and without raw lightning, that would inflict great damage to the exposed creature without the possibility of friendly fire.
Taking out a single jewel coin from her pocket, she acknowledged the opportunity granted to her through the redhead’s exploits. While Jerusalem channeled more of her Magic Power, streaks of red became apparent on her violet mane of hair. She did not notice yet.
Flipping the coin, she propelled it towards the monster below. Aiming for its flank, she shot it far beyond the capabilities of a powerful sniper rifle to take out a lung. Using her lightning, she fired the metal coin akin to a railgun with enough collective force to sweep her hair back and tear a massive sunder into the ground from the sheer force it contained during flight.
No matter how big a monster was, if one shot it in the right place, it would cease to function. Morgan Laroux | Post 7

”Hey, thanks,” Jerusalem said, receiving her half of the reward. Depositing it into a satchel on her waist, the redhead raised her hand and scratched her neck. It seemed normal at first, and then progressed into violent raking. If there had been no fashionable collar around her throat, it might have left painful marks in her fingers’ wake.
Looking over yonder for a moment, she placed a hand on her hip. The high was wearing off, but she felt no pressing need to take another hit of who knew what. At least for now.

”Can you describe mine like that next time, too? With the same ardour,” Jerusalem replied, but not as a quip or a jest. It seemed her interest in the prospect came from the heart, as though she wanted to hear those words from Morgan.
Speaking of factors that reminded her of the sexually charged, the peace sign stirred a warm reaction in her. It reminded her of the time she went overboard and shattered what remained of her friend’s aspirations for unbent heterosexuality. At least she seemed to enjoy it. There was even consent—how nice of Jerusalem.
Just when it seemed that the duo had the advantage and morale shifted in their direction, the beast seemed to vanish from sight. Being an entity equipped with as much guile as she had fondness for flame, the Godfrey rocketed herself into the air with propulsion. Using flames as the medium, she took to the airs and even sprouted a pair of napalm-comprised, phoenix wings while she flew.
Seeing fire bear little fruit earlier, she decided to begin charging lightning in her hands. It crackled; threads of red wreathed around her hands as she waited.

”Aye. I’ll follow your lead. Once I get back home, I need to,” Jerusalem paused for a moment, flicking her tongue over her lips with the insidious implications of the Serpent. ”Take care of myself after that…”
After a baited exhalation, she followed after Bandit. Eventually, they arrived at the client in question. Even before Bandit presented the proof to them, the woman brandished napalm in her hand. Insanity crept into her eyes while she cocked her head to the side.
”Heard you gave my friend some trouble earlier. We did the task. Give us our money unless you want to end up well-done like that fucking sea sperm we just cremated.”
Napalm was very hot. It was hot enough to produce heat greater than standing adjacent to molten rock. After that, she just waited. Eagerness for declination arose within her being, because she never tired of starting fires.

After Ivory charged towards the Ent, Jerusalem jettisoned the serpents in the creature’s direction. Preventing its movement was her intention. Seizing the tree abomination with her serpent-shaped napalm, she wound up whatever served as its limbs as the malleable inferno began to constrict the monster’s movements. She strangled and burned it at the same time, like a snake would if it was on fire.
It provided the albino with the opportunity she needed to plough her fist through it without interference. The blow released a colossal eruption of flame and force, enough to leave a gaping crater in the tree beast’s chest.
The keeled to the ground, slew by the fist Ivory plunged through its core. In the aftermath, the burning napalm consumed the rest of its body until it melded into a titanic inferno perceivable for miles.

”I don’t know. I’ve put some big, grotesque, hard things in my mouth before. This might be a better deal,” Jerusalem quipped in response, her expression as deadpan as a dry rock. Of course, she lied; it might have been obvious, too. The Godfrey woman never had intention to put anything of the sort into her beautiful mouth unless she harboured to bite down with enough force to sever whatever ungodly thing it was, or light it on fire. Or electrocute it until the obstruction smelled of overdone roast on a barbecue.
While Morgan charged forward with an awkward grace, she moved to flank the creature. She watched while the nefarious heels sank into the abomination’s side, sending it rolling across the dirt. Holstering fire in both palms now that her other hand was liberated, she narrowed her eyes.
The creature gored Morgan and sent her flying. Jerusalem flinched and send her iron sand after her, thickening it and using it as padding between her partner and the tree. It would not feel like Dr. Scoll’s, but it was better than smashing into a tree.
Wreathing flaming napalm around her body, she moulded it into the massive image of a phoenix. Flinging both hands forward, she sent the amorphous inferno towards the monkey-faced chimera with the intention to bathe it in horrific, molten flames in the colossal, blinding explosion that followed.
”Burn, insect…” Morgan Laroux | Post 5
