MISSION BRIEFING: Dacite's river recently harbours... something lethal. Fish grew scarce and some persons frequenting the river have disappeared. The client is sure it's a monster.
He closed his eyes, tilted his head from one side to the other and released a grunt with the ensuing cracks. Then, the stature-challenged raccoon man returned his glower upwards and to the man in front of him.
The individual before Bandit possessed a fresh coat of perspiration. It was a common symptom of dealing with Bandit and his demands.
“B-but that's too much! It would cut into our savings!” The man cried out with an expression ire-soaked, but diluted by an obvious anxiousness.
“Ah – so you do have it,” Bandit contested. “Scrounge up whatever you have.” Bandit turned away as he spoke, his back daring an assail to be cast towards it. “I'll be back for it after the job's done. Tapering food supply, waning population for whoever gets close to that river. Kinda seems worth it, don't y' think?”
Bandit walked away, grew ever-the-more distant and cared not for what was spoken at his rear.1
