The user's magic may or may not go off, with the alternative being that the magic will usually just fail to sustain itself and vanish into thin air similar to how it appeared. He makes the motion of shaking dice and tossing them before the magical cubes appear. He can use these for a wide variety of things from explosions to shields.[break] SPECIALTY. Finally, there was a response.
“This place already seems haunted – there's no need for me to clutter up the place even more, right?” The question was accompanied by a finalizing look about the monstrosities peppering his environment. It was hard to read his facial features, of course; but it was clear to most that he was putting up a strong front and was about to flee – which he did.

As usual, the voice came from everywhere at once. Its origins were nigh impossible to pinpoint. Even so, the speaker did not stay hidden - not this time. A floating, cloaked figure appeared. Phantasmal, its head either a pumpkin or within one - it looked... annoyed, actually.
"Firstly," he started as he hoisted the lantern high. As it flickered, strength left the both of them.
