Like curtains that had caught flame, the ghost found their ends erupt in flames. It had no idea how to react to such a quick and chaotic attack. The spiralling upwards left him staring up at her in a flux of hesitation and confusion. He moved back slightly, but just an inch or two; but by that time, the weapon already passed through him. He drifted there with the least amount of movement possible, attempting to both determine what happened and what was bout to. That's when he lit in flames, then burst into a large mass of them until every inch of him was swept in the torrent of benighted fire. When the flames burned no more, there was nothing left behind. His wails had long-since ceased.

Incoming punch. Despite its phantasmal state, what force approached could not be nullified nor could the explosive power behind the ghost slayer's own unorthodox attack.
A singed, dirty ghost retreated back with an expression that beamed of its clearly hurt feelings and pained ghostly physique.
“So... you didn't like my scream then? Even after my candy...” He was on the verge of tears judging from how pump his words were with sniffs and a quivering tone.
“Fine, be cursed then.”
And then pain. Just pain. Its source was from the targets themselves. Nothing approached them or came to impact them. It just manifested from, ostensibly, pure, unbridled spite and hatred.
Clearly, he really liked his screaming and doubtlessly, thought it worthy of compliment.

“I GOT A CANDYYYYYYYYY!”
There was no response from the disembodied voice – but there was a new one. It obviously belonged to the ghost that just appeared in front of them. It screamed about having received a candy. There was no context and it hardly related to anything that had been said prior.
“AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” It hollered in a raspy, gruff voice. The sound disgorged from him in waves that warped the very air around it.

The voice was omnipresent, ostensibly, echoing about the environment's contours from every which way. There appeared to be no source. What spirits appeared have been decimated and the speaker, apparently, was aware of the means of their disposal.
Cautioned, nothing appeared. What was speaking was wise enough to not appear - or at least, be within the vicinity.
"Luring so many to these homes - I've siphoned almost enough magical power to face you and then? Specters don't have anything to fear. I imagine you cannot slay ghosts as one yourself, hm?"
"By the way... Trick... or treat?"
