Quinn recognized her immediately, "Oh! You're the lady that was super strong and what not! The man had been observant with his pseudo teammates during the fight, and he had noted some of their magic. He was only a take-over mage, pretty boring in his opinion, but this woman and another had really cool magic!
"That was pretty cool by the way, what you can do!" Quinn smiled brightly at the woman, his face not betraying his very sunny attitude. "I wish my magic was as cool as yours..." Immediately, he was down-trodden, and most likely, his deities will admonish him later on in his sleep.
"Oh oh! I'm Quinn, by the way! Quinn Stormgarde at your service!" Quinn let the woman go from his clasp, and held out his hand for a shake.

[b]OLYMPIAN: ZEUS.[/b] known as the king of the olympians, the thunder and lightning god zeus controls the air and whatever comes with the domain. storms and hurricanes chief among them. this take-over form makes quinn very cocky, and ignites his very playful and lustful side.
[b]OLYMPIAN: POSEIDON.[/b] is the sea god, and controls the domain of everything to do with water. poseidon sometimes overlaps his control over hurricanes and storms with his brother zeus, although is known as the earthshaker for his control over earthquakes. this take-over form makes quinn a bit more calm and logical.
[b]OLYMPIAN: HADES.[/b] is known to be the deity of the underworld, and all that comes with it. hellfire, minerals, rocks and whatever else is found on the ground is his to claim. this take-over form makes quinn a bit more greedy than his usual self.
[b]OLYMPIAN: ARES.[/b] the deity of war, ares is known for his prowess in battle. this take-over form skews quinn's personality to be more arrogant and prone to risk-taking.
[b]OLYMPIAN: BACCHUS.[/b] is the deity of wine, revels, and madness. bacchus is known to be a very profound lover of all three, with madness stemming from too much intake of alcohol. this take-over form lets quinn be more resistant to alcoholic effects, and also uncaring for anything save women and parties.
[b]OLYMPIAN: HERMES.[/b] is known to be the deity with the fastest mobility. hermes, messenger, faithful patron of thieves, speedster, and travelers, is a take-over form that quinn loves to use. with this form, quinn is more playful, and very mischievous.
[b]OLYMPIAN: HEPHAESTUS.[/b] the deity of the forge, hephaestus is known for his resistance to fire, and his ability to use it to his whim. with this take-over, quinn is susceptible to wanting to fix things, as well as having a grim disposition about life.

Quinn looked around at the destruction of the village. The attack had been a surprised for everyone involved, and the village was saved only by the mages who had been nearby. Luckily for the village, there had been a handful of those mages, or else the story would have been different.
Shattered glass. That was all there was left of the village. Building stood, people lived, but the glass of windows and streetlamps had been shattered to pieces, most likely from the fighting. However much this village suffered, it would live another day.
"So much carnage..." Quinn thought to himself as he went left and right, trying his best to help with repairs and whatnot. Without looking, however, he turned around and bumped into a person. He tried to steady himself, however, and held out his hand to catch himself and the person who he had hit by accident, "Oh! Sorry about that, I was a bit distracted... He trailed off, looking into the eyes of the person he had bumped into.

Quinn watched as the zombies seemed to take flight and spew gas all over. It was toxic, at least Quinn thought it was, so he forced himself to leap backwards as the zombies started descending, as though trying to use the smoke to hide themselves.
The man knew what he had to do. This cannot be left alone after all.
"Sunspear!" Quinn threw a spear of light and fire towards one of the zombies that seemed to have failed its camouflage, hoping to catch it before it could retry to disappear once again.

Quinn sweat-dropped at the woman who seemed to be ready to kill her cat. The amount of force that the woman had for a simple cuddle was...astronomical. He felt bad for Tora, the cat, and could see why it had wanted to run away from his owner. Truth be told, if he was Tora, he would have ran away as well. Far away. Where nobody would ever find him.
"Uhh...you're welcome, Madame." Quinn bowed, before taking a step back and mouthing a sorry to the cat. He turned towards his partner instead, and held out his hand for a shake. It had been a good mission altogether, besides the fact that he really didn't do anything.
"Thank you for working with me, it has been a pleasure!" Quinn smiled widely, hoping to make acquaintances as he went along this journey of being a wizard.

Quinn dodged once again, the deity Apollo was at least helping him in this regard. He was in a good relationship with this specific Take-Over deity, and he hoped that he would be able to maintain such a good relationship with all the deities he will eventually have to encounter.
The man slid to the side, unsure whether to keep attacking. They were in the middle of the village, civilians were still a possible casualty, and Quinn was very inexperienced with these kinds of situations. But he needed to step-up. he was a wizard now.
"Sunspear!" He targeted the one who seemed to have its sights on him. It was good the creature was weak, or else Quinn might not have survived this encounter.

Quinn smiled and led the way towards the inn that the Madame had been housing herself in. It was the best so to speak, although the only thing that was great about it was that it had its own room with showers installed within. It was high class, Quinn supposed. Better than the rest of the dingy ones around the village.
"You're really good at that," Quinn commented, still smiling as he glanced towards Cheshire who seemed to be taken with the cat. He was an animal person himself, but he could never say that animals took to him like Tora seems to have taken with Cheshire.
They soon got to the inn, and Quinn made to knock at the door.

Quinn watched as his partner gently handled the situation. He was sure he could not have done better at all. The woman, Cheshire, was definitely experienced, her every move told him so. With grace and confidence, the woman caught the cat without much fuss.
As she seemed to check the collar, Quinn approached slowly. He had been curious as well about the cat that nobody could capture. It seemed like a regular cat, nothing too out of the ordinary. Maybe due to it's small stature, it could easily escape those who did not know how to handle cats. Quinn did not know how to handle cats. Dogs either for that matter. He was a fish person.
"Nice! You got him!" Quinn clapped, "Shall we go look for his owner? Or is it a her?" Madame Shimiji never really gave them the gender of the cat, Tora.

Quinn quieted down, following the orders of the senior mage. He was not someone to disobey, after all. Being a new wizard made it so that he really needed to start learning from those who have had more experience in the field. Cheshire seemed to be one of those who've had quite a bit of experience.
"Did you find it?" Quinn whispered softly, unsure of whether the lady had actually found the cat, or was shushing him because she had found a clue worthy of some thinking-over.
He crept closer, and caught a glimpse of it. It looked like Tora, but the only was to be sure was to check its collar. "The collar will have its name, if it's the cat." Quinn whispered, now closer to Cheshire. He looked at her, expecting her to give him instructions as to how they would go about this.

Quinn nodded. As expected, the woman he was with definitely knew her stuff. Quinn would have made the same assumptions, although the problem was that there was a possibility that the cat had taken up its home outside of the village, in the outskirts where it was still relatively safe. That would have caused some issues in finding the cat, but hopefully,it was somewhere close by.
"I'll start on the thrash cans, then!" The take-over mage smiled and hopped to it, lifting the thrash lids and peering into them as he heard his partner start on her search as well. The sooner they find this creature, the faster they can get their rewards and move on.
"Not here!" Quinn shouted, although he did find something a little interesting, "Hey, look at this!" He held up a slice of pizza, half-devoured, with a cat claw mark embedded onto it. "I think our culprit is somewhere here. This looks recent, right?" If the assumption was correct, the cat was close by, "Did you find anything?"

Annoying Dead [Event/Closed]

Quinn had been walking around the area, not really knowing what to do for the rest of the day. He had been running errands around the village. It was less of a mission, and more of his own volition as he met an ailing old woman who had needed some chores done while he was entering Andesite Village. He could not say no, so he said yes. And with that, his whole day went poof!
"What the-" it seems as though the village as being attack by this weird looking creatures. He had heard of them before. Zombies, they were called, and had been causing some trouble around Alakitasia.
Without thinking, Quinn pulsed his magic: "Olympian Soul: Apollo!" The only deity he had communed with, Apollo made an appearance through him, his whole body now shining brightly like the sun, with a visage that was deified.
Molding magic on his palm, he held it back and tossed what seemed to look like a spear. The projectile, made of magic that was the same colour as the sun, was sent towards one of the creatures, which Quinn had hoped to hit.

Quinn paused for a moment, thinking back to the conversation he had with the owner, Madame Shimiji. From what he could gather, the cat was small, and very agile. This was the prime reason nobody could catch it until now. As for it's favourite hiding spots, that was left to be discovered.
"From what I know, it seems as though it has been spotted around this area, and as you can see," Quinn gestured around. The place was lined with restaurants, "it must be hungry, which is why it tends to stay around this area." If he were a cat, and was hungry, he'd definitely stay here.
"What do you think? Should we try outside the village or try around the back alleys of the restaurant?" He would take her opinion, he was a green mage after all, barely out of his training.

"Oh, uh, thanks." Quinn bumped her fist. It had been awhile since someone had been forgiving of his own mistakes. His friends were. but then he also found out that they were only friends with him because he had paid for their drinks every time they had gone out. After becoming a mage, and being too busy, they had turned their backs on him.
Shaking his head of all the negative thoughts, he finally took stock of what she said, "Well, the problem was that the trail I was following stopped. And with the big expanse, I was hoping we could do it as a team!" The cat was an elusive one, and this mission was a two-mage job for a reason. "Shall we?" He took point, hoping to show the woman where he had last seen any traces of the cat.
"Over there." Quinn pointed to the gate, "It stopped just below the gates. I'm not really much of a tracker so I was a bit uncertain on how to continue." He was being honest, that was a good trait, right?

"Sorry! I didn't mean to offend!" Quinn held up his hands in defeat, "It's just, I've never really met anyone that was..." he wasn't sure what her race was, but he shook his head instead, "I'm sorry, please forgive my rude comment."
His head still, bowed, he listened to what she had called herself. Cheshire. It was a good name, and reminded him of a place he had once read. A county of sorts that produced cheese and famous for its silk. Quinn really was not sure what she was talking about. A cat? What did being called Cheshire had to do with a cat?
"Please to meet your acquaintance, my name is Quinn Stormgarde from the Nemean Claw Guild." Quinn held one of his hand out for a shake, still bowed low waiting for the woman to accept his apology, "By the way, Tora was last seen just around the corner near the gate. I had done recon earlier this morning." He hoped the information he provided would be enough to help him in his case for forgiveness.
