MISSION NAME: Necromancer CLIENT: Dacite Village CHARACTERS: OPEN MISSION BRIEFING: The people of Dacite Village have woken up one morning to find that their local cemetery has been desecrated. Tombs have been unearthed and coffins have been emptied of the dead. Not only that, but during the night, people have reported seen their dearly departed roaming the streets once more. Terrified Dacite Villagers have asked some mages to get to the bottom of this.
How ghoulish.
Hector caught wind of a particular occurrence. How he did was a secret of his; but nonetheless, he was very curious – on point for his species – about the haunting events of Dacite Village. Hector very much wanted to see such a phenomena – if it were true, of course.
Venturing into the town, he paused and sat, allowing his tail to curl around himself. There was hardly anything conspicuous about Hector save from his alien pelt of black and red. His fur was unusual; but the feline, despite being fairly large by comparison to the household variety – drank in the sights before him. The town... had spots and smears of blood and outside was hardly anybody at all. In fact, at the moment, Hector did not see a single person outside – but a figure, somewhat distant, peeked out from around a building. Their paces were slow and irregular.
“Huh...” Hector uttered as he peered towards the figure with suspicion.

necromancer; an open mission

Another day...another relic defiled by an individual too weak to comprehend the object's true value. While it might not have been the original goal of the machine to care about the mission statement set by his guild master...it didn't take long for the lucrative nature of procuring these artifacts to justify the act's importance. Wanting to stand at the forefront of importance within his guild meant that he had to complete missions on behalf of the guild. That also meant he had to act far more serious than his rowdy compatriots if he wanted to separate himself from the pack.
That was why getting to this location was so easy for the man. He headed straight hear from the guild house. Only resting when his body was on the verge of collapse. His dedication to the cause was legendary...and for the man this was no different than a routine mission with routine parameters. He had not accepted the quest knowing whom the other participant would be, all he knew was that his true reason for being here had not been disclosed in any official documents. The task was merely to stop the Necromancer whom was busy plaguing the land's citizens.
Or something like that. The sharply dressed male cared little for formalities. Instead choosing to focus only on his sole objective for being here and nothing more. Passing through the towns gates did little to impress the male. His eyes darting around the location with an gaze that was less than empathetic. He didn't care about the weak..those whom could not defend themselves deserved to die. From what he could see of the town's remains. That was the fate of this location. With a slight "Tch" and the smack of his gums he walked into town. Gazing at some figure.

“Oh, wow... interesting.” This inquisitive rambling came from an adjacent feline. No, not that one. Another one that proved far more bipedal and actually wore clothing. When did he get there? It hardly mattered, but his eyes were locked onto this member of Quatro Cerberus all the same. It was clear that Gato was talking about Gang. For a second, the bakeneko's glance followed Gang's own – or at least where it went prior. He returned his focus to the guilded wizard.
“Eh, you don't wanna go that way. Just zombies... and after all this time, there's still more roaming about.” He clicked his tongue and shook his head. His manner of address, how forthcoming he was – it was as if he knew of the stranger already. Perhaps, however, he was simply that outgoing of an individual. There was an undeniable casual air submersing the feline creature – not a dribbling of anxiety twisted or tensed any part of his bestial visage. It was just a boring stare, nigh unblinking and then, he drew his face away and looked to the index finger and thumb he placed before his own eyes. A spark – an arc of electricity filled the gap between them.
“I've seen this kinda thing before...” He paused, ceasing his play with the element. “Are you already in a guild? I'm looking for members to solidify my own, after all.”

Looking onward he tched before turning on his heels and walking away from the cat-man that had spoke to him. "This is below my pay grade, you handle it. Also, I have no interest in joining a cat." He seemed to have a lot on his mind as he vanished into the ether. He didn't have to be such a dick about it though.
Oh well, he walked off as soon as he had arrived. Perhaps he had better shit to do, perhaps he was running short of time. After-all, life was precious and the moments needed to be savored. Right?

"Woman! This information had better be correct or I'm going to tickle you again!" The fire drake snarled as he stamped forward with a bow-legged gangster-like walk. Eyes narrowed as the intensity of the heat from his breath seemingly ignited the air as he exhaled. The slender yet curvaceous figure to his side walked at a steady pace, her pink hair perfectly showcased as she nervously shook her head from side to side. She gripped her wrist as both of her hands were held out in front of her before speaking to her contract holder with faux confidence. "I-I'm s-sorry!"
She apologized, despite not having a reason to. Fuego ignored her plight though, not because he was being an asshole at the moment, but due to the fact that his attention shot over towards the Lightning Slayer as he walked past him. Oh how easy it would be to crush that bastard...but he let him walk past without a word. Huffing before entering the town himself. Hands gripping his own hips, he leaned back as he began to stretch out. "Alright! Aries, we are going to fuck this place up!" He stated in a boisterous tone of voice. "Necromancer barbecue!"
He cackled before his eyes turned immediately towards the cat-person whom had just been rejected by the robotic menace. The eyes of the fire wyrm expanded with wondrous delight as he bared his fangs towards the cat-creature. "An audience member!? Yesss!!!" He called out in delight as his face took quite the disturbingly pleasurable appearance. "Excuse me, Cat person. I am Fuego Frixum, freelance pyromaniac. Have you seen any naughty men in dark robes running around lately? I'm here to capture them." He spoke with confidence, as Aries waved flags with Fuego's face on them and hopped up and down.

“Uh, yes?” he asked after being addressed as 'cat person' He did not seem vexed, but was very much inclined to stare at him with an unintentional, but persistent bewilderment.
“Any naughty- no, I haven't seen any of those,” Gato replied. “It's why I'm here assuming, uh... Is that an accurate description of the one causing this or...”
Wasn't there a woman somewhere that had been tickled into submission? Then again, he was busy having his soul ripped out by the other individual that took his leave soon after Gato caught wind of him. Now, he was reluctant to extend his invitation. He certainly needed to recover for a time before he could ask anybody else.
“Wanna join my guild? It's called Mythos and we beat up mean creatures.” He said plainly and went back to just starting at Fuego instead of the other. He was no longer there to stare at.

An exasperated look of confusion dotted the strikingly handsome features of the cross-dressing slayer. His eyes peering over towards the cat-creature as though the male was charting high level calculations with each blink of the eye. That was strange. What the hell was this cat talking about. "What is a guild?" He had never joined one nor did he comprehend what it meant to have a team. If not for the fact that he had gotten this golden key off the corpse of some man he ate, he probably would have found himself to always be alone in the world.
He peered back towards Aries for a split second as she spoke up. "U-um..It's a group of wizards that have come together for a common goal. They all have those matching tattoos we keep running across." She stated before closing her eyes tightly and blushing wildly. Unable to deal with the stares from her contract holder for too long. He turned his head back towards Gato and rubbed his chin with his eyes squinted. "Oh? Hmm. Do I get to kill them?" He was genuinely curious about this whole thing. It seemed like a good way to entertain one's self.
He would lean back and flip his hair out of his face, so that one arm hung low at his waist and his left hand settled on his hip. He watched closely, peering into the abyss of zombie creatures as he side eyed the village, though never let his focus fully leave the individual whom addressed him. He'd not think hard before immediately responding. "Sure, I'll join you if you help me finish this contract. I don't know how guilds work but I assume you'll be the boss. I have worked for people before so, should be fine." He grinned.

Gato did not have to explain anything, thankfully. He was occupied with coming up with a means of explaining the whole thing after the initial shock of crossing a wizard not privy to such knowledge. Of course, how did he know the individual was a wizard? He could just feel it – quite literally.
“Oh, hello there,” Gato said with a placid face and a wave towards the adjacent spirit. He could see her blushing wildly, but addressed her nonetheless. “Oh, neat...” What that utterance was about was anybody's guess. He just blurted that out before he was asked another question.
“Not only do you get to kill them, but it's encouraged. We can't have creatures misbehaving and killing off all of mankind, right?” he asked with a shrug and an oddly dismissive, casual air.
“Oh, really? Well, then, might as well go see what that guy's up to, eh?” He was speaking of the shambling figure that was... no longer there.
“O-oh, it's gone. I guess we left it alone too long.” Gato cleared his throat.
“HELLO?! We're here to help with your undead problem!”

The strangeness of the feline friend was not something that donned on the dragon individual. As he found himself looking down at his abs as he flexed his muscles, as if he was absorbed fully into himself. By how he acted...it was almost as though he embodied each of the sins evenly, perhaps besides the sin of sloth. No, he was someone whom took great pride in himself even now, during a mission of importance. He'd peer over to the area where the corpse once was and rose a brow at it's disappearance. It was strange really, but not alarming.
"H-hello, sir..." Aries stated as she took her hands and clasped her cheeks, shaking her head from left to right so that her blushing would go away. She'd stamp her foot and look towards the location of where the creature had vanished before she'd speak up again towards Fuego. "S-Sorry for interjecting, however. We should take a more proactive approach, sir." She spoke and at first it seemed as though Fuego ignored her entirely. "Friend, you never told me your name." Something that stood out to the pyromancer like a sore thumb. After all, he should know a 'friend's' name.
He paused for a moment as he contemplated the encouragement of slaying strong creatures. That alone was enough to get the man quite excited. He didn't exactly care about protecting mankind or the people that called this ruined world home...but if he had a chance to showcase how strong he was, that was more than enough to keep the man satisfied. Clapping his hands together in a rhythmic way he called out towards the darkness. "Bring! That! Ass! Here! Boy!!" He'd laugh shortly afterwards. "I need to show my new boss how dope I am!" He exclaimed with rapturous delight.
