You find yourself face to face with a talking, bi-pedal cat wearing some variety of overalls. At his shoulder is a black bird; a crow. Either the crow in its loud, obnoxious, caw-ing voice or the cat, Gato, has asked you if you would lend them your aid in joining their ranks.

Their ranks would be an organization called Mythos. Founded and run by creatures that have not lost their sense of self. After Gato has been forced into a leadership position despite there being one already, Gato is accepting anybody of any race.

Upon acceptance, you receive an avian creature. Their link with the unseen creature pulling the strings means they can transmit messages from them to the members of this newfound guild. This gives the guild member both purpose and direction at any given point in time; meaning where dangerous creatures pop up, you will know where to find them. There is no HQ that anybody is aware of. The guild is nomadic, yet together always with their avian companions as each member can speak to another through them.

Take note of "blind spots" in areas with less/sparse or no woodlands. For whatever reason, if there is suspicion of unwanted activity, investigations are generally launched instead of simply being given accurate information on what is to be done.

To fight monsters, Mythos seeks to find monsters. However, not every living travesty possesses an obvious appearance. So, they search for beings of power with specific personas. As long as they were cooperative, they could be used to lead their own three-person squadrons. The Sins lead groups of the guild's members on important missions. To attain Sin status, you must have completely a thread with the guild master.

You wear the guild's tattoo in a spot of your choosing; but it is star-like in appearance. They are a variety of colours, but statically so. There are five known colours: red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The colour changes depending on your own strength and capabilities, determined by successful guild tasks taken on. The lowest rank is red, the colour with the longest wavelength in the provided list of colours. Purple is the highest with the shortest and most intense wavelength. Blue and Purple are also referred to as "Mythics." Mythics are able to get many of their questions answered directly by the guild's true founder.

———► Not much is known within the guild about Zeke, other than his penchant for being drunk on the job and still managing to get it done on time. His greedy nature often leaves him at odds when it comes to teamwork, but he is intelligent and charismatic despite what others are presented with. Powerful magics and years of experience under his belt, he is one of many reasons, "Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young", is an appropriate ideology.
