Eye Spy [mission, closed]

Kasumi watched as the mutant fall onto his knee yet caught himself just in time before crashing on the ground. Even Cheshire's attack did little damage to his body, the flesh regenerating soon after the shadowy construct left it's body. Not only that, the mutant would charged straight towards Cheshire with it's outstretched muscular arms. A bear hug by that creature would likely reduce Cheshire's spine into the
structural integrity of a chocolate souffle. The purplette realized she had to do something fast and immediately charged her body up with magical energy.

The gloves are now off.

Relocating herself once more in front of Cheshire with a burst of speed, Kasumi would parry both of the outstretched arm away from her. She would then leap up and wrap her legs around the neck of the creature before pivoting her hip in circular manner as she attempted to pull an aerial take-down so as to send the creature away from Cheshire and kissing the floor. Whether or not it succeeded she would leapt back and resume her combat stance.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Kasumi's gloves are weighted-knuckled gloves, with the studs attached to them act as weights that increase the weight behind her attacks. It also acted as a protection for her hand should she decide to block or grab attacks that are directed towards her.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: Sand. It's all coarse, and rough, and irritating. And it gets everywhere. Sand elementals – bodies held together by the realm of the mind – their forms were taken home by the three Odin's Spear mages, glutinously stuck to them and the vechile they drove. Their arrival home bestowed upon them the opportunity to investigate three small sphere's of gold. Each picked one up and found, depending on their thoughts, the spheres melting away into sand only to reform if they willed it.
The high attack power of the elementals they fought was revealed by the razor-sharp granules of the golden sand. Each realized the best application was to think the sands over their preferred weapon. It would coat the weapon in gold, sharpening and enhancing what magic ran through it to deliver stronger basic attacks.
Basic Attack damage is increased by 0.1X (0.5X --> 0.6X).

“Uh?” He decided to heed her advice. It was given to him with the utmost degree of vehemence, so he could not help but look directly up into an expanding sea of black. It did exactly what it was fashioned to do, stripping him of his sight. It was an inexplicable series of events from then. Without sight, he simply felt the world itself rotate and come rushing onto his head as he crashed with the floor.

The passing of a moment ensued as he slumped onto the floor. A lull fell over the area; one where the mass of mutated man did not stir. Breaths escaped him, but the realm of waking seemed, at the moment, far out of reach for him.

Picking herself up from the ground, Kasumi was the first to approach the fallen mutant. Her first order of business was to check if he really was playing possum, by checking his breathe. Once she was satisfied, she'd give Cheshire a once over to assess her condition. As the girl herself didn't seem to be injured, she would wrap B.I.G's arm around her shoulder and lift him off the floor. Thanks to her augmentation magic, despite his size, it would feel as if she's lifting about as much as a couple bags of rice.

"We'll bring him to Asgard with us by truck. Think you can drive for us while I keep him restrained?"

Carrying him like this left her at a disadvantage however. Strong as she was, even she would find it difficult to fight while carrying the mutant on her back. Not to mention she would be completely encumbered and unable to carry anymore items they need to secure from this laboratory.

"Grab whatever you need from here first and then take point. I rather not make a second trip between here and the truck."

Once Cheshire had secured the rest of what's needed in the place, Kasumi would nod towards her and followed from behind. Thankfully the trip back toward the truck was less eventful, either they have killed all the workers in this lab or that the survivors have fled. She couldn't care less which one it was at this point. That they didn't bother to keep any written record on the drug was annoying, it would definitely mean more work for the egghead at the labs. Once they arrived near the vehicle, Kasumi would load the mutant on top of the tonneau.

"Whatever happens, make sure to keep your eyes on the road Chesh."

There was a chance that B.I.G may wake up along the journey. Should that happen, Kasumi would try and bring it back down under but she wanted to make sure her partner for the mission don't freak out when that happen. It would be a lot harder if she had to worry about her partner losing control of the vehicle, the last thing she wanted was for them was to crash into something. Given how remote this place was, it would also be difficult to attempt to hitch hike onto another passing vehicle.

Once Cheshire gave her assurance, Kasumi would gave her a slight nod. The whole journey back was spent in silent as she contemplate over the result of the mission. When she had heard the word tech, she had assumed it would be some sort of contraption. But even after a thorough exhaustive search of the place the only other thing they manage to recover was a bunch of test tubes. Unless the bandits intended to reproduce the serum somehow, she highly doubted the bandits could do much with a bunch of shiny liquid containers.

Just what was in that serum?

The change that occurred to B.I.G was quite drastic. It wasn't like a glamor spell where it changed one's physical appearance by forming an illusion around them. He was biologically altered, flesh and blood to turn into the being he was right now. Not only that, it amplified his magic multifold. The benefits of such serum to Odin's Spear would have been...

A pang of pain assaulted her head, as multiple image flashed through her head at once. A lot of them had to do with experiments of sorts but for the life of her, she couldn't remember it happened. Though she saw herself in some of the images it felt as if she was peering through a stranger's memory. The flash lasted only for a few seconds though it was mentally taxing enough to cause her to breathe heavily.

Fortunately, the trip soon ended with Cheshire strapping shadow cuffs onto B.I.G. The catgirl questioned her about the decision they made in handing him over as the proof of their result but what else could they do? Show a bunch of empty tubes? Though she felt tired from the whole ordeal, she gave Cheshire a reassuring smile even as she lifted the mutant once more.

"It will be fine. If anyone ask, I'll take the responsibility okay?"
