Orion was finally back. He had been out and about for a very long time, tasting the beers of the rest of the world, he had told himself. An Alakitasia Beer Tour if there ever was one. He had quite a time though, meeting new friends, seeing old ones, and kicking some monster butt. Now, being back, everything felt strange. Peace was almost nonexistent when he was out there in the world, where danger lurked in every corner. In Rhyolite, everything was peaceful, and it felt wrong.
The streets were busy, but even then, something caught his eye. He knew that person, their gait, their habitual glances. Orion smirked, moving in closer to the person as they weaved in and out of the civilians, as though trying to make a less of a fuss and melting into the shadow of the crowd. It didn't work on Orion.
"Hey," Orion started as he finally caught up with the person, "fancy seeing you here once again." he smirked, remembering the first time he has seen her since she had left the guild. They had shared a drink or five then, recounting the past, and looking towards the future. "If you have time, there's something I need to talk to you about." The topic had been worming its way in Orion's mind, and he really wanted to discuss it with Cheshire.

Orion smirked, "Ah, you see, I'm back from my misadventures!" Definitely misadventures. With everything that he's seen, heard, and did, he can't call it anything else. Besides, he had fun throughout, and to him , that was what mattered. That, and he was able to sample beers from around Alakitasia, which was the epitome of his trip so-to-speak.
He paused, taking a second to articulate, "It's been awhile, so I was wondering if you'd care to trade blows. I want to see how much you've improved, and how much I've improved as well." His face turned just a little serious, "With everything that's happened, it's good to know how we measure up from when we last had a spar, don't you agree?" They were new then, green mages that had not even started taking missions. They are better now. Stronger and faster. More experienced in the art of fighting for one's life.

"Hey, we had fun in our missions!" Orion protested, still wincing at the fact that he had to tank that Dire Wolf creature. It was a hell of a fight, and the monster had died nobly, without qualms over its defeat. "Plus, we made money, and you can't deny that fact." Efficiency was key, and the money made was the result of it. Their partnership made them both good money, and that mattered a lot, especially since Orion had some debts he needed paid.
Thinking for a moment, Orion replied, "There was one. When we first became wizards. It was a quick fight. I..." he paused, coughing a little, "lost." Without another pause, Orion continued his argument, "Plus, we can trade ideas. I'm improving, but I know that I still have trouble with stealth-type opponents. I'm sure you can take a tip or three from a bulldozer like myself," Orion laughed loudly at his own comment about himself, his sanity was a little questionable these days.

Orion thought for a moment, scratching his chin as he thought of a reason to get Cheshire to spar with him. The problem with sparring with just anybody in Cait Shelter was that Orion knew most of them too well. So well that most of the time, he could predict what they would do or how they would respond to a certain attack. This was no conducive to good training. He needed to be challenged.
"How about this," Orion started with a small smile, "If you win, I'll give you a cask of Gabbro-made Wine, first-rate in taste and texture. Plus! I'll even give you the first shot for free, no blocks no dodges." Nobody ever declined a portion of his collection of the best booze around Alakitasia, nor has anyone ever declined for a free hit at the man. "How about it, huh?"

"Whaaaat?!" Orion pouted, "Gabbro-made wine is the best you can get, and I'll let you in on a little secret," he paused, looked left and right, before whispering, "It's aged 20 years. Prime to be drank." Orion had been saving it for an occasion, and this one seemed to be a good one. Besides, he really wanted Cheshire to open up a bit, she's always been so closed off.
With a salute, Orion replied, "Yes, ma'am!" She can have the wine, but at least he'll get a spar. "If you think you've hit a wall, let me help you out. I am the god of destruction after all!" He had promised a free shot, so he better make sure he took it in stride. The young woman was someone not to be messed with after all, even though she seemed to believe that she had had a plateau.
"Come on then, with your best shot, and nothing to the face," Orion grinned, opening his arms out wide, waiting for the strike. He would take it, and then hopefully won't pass out. Who knows, Cheshire might have just been having her fun and actually had become incredibly strong.

"Yo, leave my nuts out of this business!" Orion shouted, sweat-dropping. IT was somethinghe'd rather not be hit, nor damaged. Any man would cry like a baby at the thought of it happening.
Then, in a sudden flash. He was hit hard and was sent backwards. He kept himself stable, however, "You've got to be kidding me...you blinded me?!" Orion couldn't see. Darkness consumed his sight, as though sapping the light of the world around him. He had to be careful now.
"My turn! Raijin's Drum!" He released his attack towards where he remembered Cheshire to be. It was a simple attack, he'll bring out the big guns later on. His blindness, however, will be a pain in the ass to deal with.

And when she came in contact one of Orion's signature attacks, she took a major hit and was sent tumbling backward, almost performing a full backflip in midair right before her inevitable collision with the ground. Everything that I've fucking hit with this thing so far, came back and paid me back with interest!"[break][break] With that said, her next move would hopefully be an unpredictable one, as she'd sink deep into the shadow realm, temporarily disappearing from existence altogether. When she'd resurface, she'd use the terrain to her advantage in an attempt to launch herself from high in the air right into a full-force dropkick to the man's upper back. "Can't see shit, but I can hear you," Orion grinned. Her footsteps were very much alive in Orion's ears, and her movements accentuated every single sound wave. The god slayer relied on the electrical charge present in the air, its shifting, and how it responds to certain movements.
She was gone. Then pain. Orion stumbled forward, cursing himself as he righted himself. Being dropped-kicked was one thing. Being dropped-kick out of nowhere, without having any preparation to receive the blow was another.
Orion focused on the pain, and channeled it into lightning. With a shout, he released the lightning in a wave towards where Cheshire's attack came from. "Indra's Revenge!"
"Just wait until I can see again," Orion grinned ferally, his blindness would soon come to an end, and the fight will be more of an even playing field. At least, even in the sense where he can actually see his opponent.
