The Halfway Inn [mission, closed]

It was odd. See, Anniken remembered being in freezing climates before. Having been to the coldest place on the planet in the Wastelands, she knew the sensation of feeling as though her extremities were going to fall off. Last time she visited that place, she remembered wearing layers of clothes, scarves, thicker gloves, and a cloak to ward away the chill. Her outfit was similar today, but not because she needed it. Now, she did not feel dramatic, freezing temperatures because of her cold physiology. It did not work like a cold-blooded reptile, after all.

While staring at the inn in question, she kept her mitten-clad hands clasped behind her back. The hot clothing failed to bother her. Since she was already cold to the touch, she just felt warm under the snug embrace of dense clothing.

Wolfish ears twitching upon being catered to, her tail swayed from side-to-side. After Cheshire was done talking, she decided to further her agenda by providing a little tinge of Pleasure. Not enough to be stimulating in that way, just a simple soothing sensation. Like soaking in a pleasant, warm bath.

”Ah—do you mean like this? I have more where that came from.”

Eyes widening when she felt a sensation against her back, the woman seemed taken aback. Not expecting the gesture to come from Cheshire and not the other way around, surprise hit her with pleasant implications. It seemed the feline took her advice and seized the initiative, and she enjoyed what unravelled thereafter. A happier lover always heralded her own contentment.

Feeling the kisses peppering the side of her neck, she craned her head to the side to expose more of the pale skin and puncture scar. The gentle grazing and nipping elicited a brief moan from the vampire hybrid, her body tensing and her back arching. The motion caused her to lean further into the embrace, and she released a sigh of relief. Judging from the devilish glint in her crimson eyes, Anniken wrested control of the body.

”The lone thought of doing what we do in bed to him is abhorrent, kitten. I will bring information out of him in ways he cannot fathom, because I smell deception on his foul tongue,” she stared in response. ”And I enjoy when you get handsy. Tell me Cheshire, does holding me and pricking me with your fangs feel good?”

”That is a very messy idea,” Justice chimed in response. Before she could put her thoughts together on the prospect of ripping a windpipe asunder, Anniken cut in. ”Suck it up. I mean, literally. If there’s a fountain of blood, that is a good thing. As potent as Magic is, bar the immortal, ripping out a throat is a very effective way of killing next to beating their head in with a bat.”

Justice detested the idea of getting her clothes dirty, while Anniken revelled in the idea of causing a tremendous amount of pain and suffering to evil; enough to repay all that they caused over the span of their lives. She knew even Pleasure could be used to this effect. Recently, she considered making them identify the sensation of pain as though it were Pleasure, and then using vampiric compulsion to coerce them into eating themselves.

Eyes befalling Cheshire’s actions, she observed while she lowered to her level and exposed the bandaged portion of her neck. She imagined that meant on thing, and her words verified the purpose in her actions. The woman recognized that if she were to protect anyone, she needed to be at full strength. If it came to offense, the damage would be left to her girlfriend, however.

Still, she knew a drink was a drink. The Godfather nodded in assent.

”Sure, if you are offering…” The woman placed her hands onto Cheshire’ shoulders. Bringing her mouth closer to the neck offered to her by way of silver platter, she ran her tongue along the frequented feeding spot. Delivering a kiss to it at first, she parted her lips to reveal sharp fangs. Sinking them in, she repeated the familiar gesture of siphoning blood from her. Periodic gulps later, and she released her from the embrace. Licking residual blood from her lips, she winked at her. Throughout the duration, she made sure to throw in another tiny dosage of Pleasure.

”Thank you for the delicious meal, Chesh.”

”Man, are you absolutely positive you ain’t wanna quickie in the back of this joint?”

If it wasn’t obvious already, something was wrong. That dialect was not known to show up while she assumed the pink-haired form of smaller stature and physique. But before that –

Her mind was filled with thoughts regarding what she wanted to do. When she did this and forwarded her agenda, it always backfired. Seeing her lover submerged in pleasure and melting the snow with the unmentionable made her want to tend to that in the most satisfying way possible. She harboured no immunity to arousal, and both the blood and the sight shoved her head first right into a pool of it. It took willpower to not start fidgeting with her legs.

The more important thing was once she at last consumed enough blood to function properly as a vampire, she changed. Exchanging pink locks for blonde, and crimson orbs remaining the same, she acquired her beloved bust once again. It included her height, curvature, and former athletic physique. Other than the accent, she failed to notice the sudden change. Good thing the winter clothes were previously too big for her in the first place…

”Huh,” Anniken started, glancing at her hands. ”That’s weird. I thought I lost my sexy ass southern twang when I became a bloodsucker.”

”Homie, the fuck?” Justice said, chiming in at last when their mutual attention was directed towards their now bountiful bosom. Anniken replaced her stiffened expression with one of nonchalance, amused in her eyes while her lips curled into a smirk. ”Ain’t wise to complain ‘bout a gift, lil’sis. I’ll take this shit over the last shtick in a heartbeat.”

Taking a look at the golden locks, they sifted through a segment of hair and brought it closer to their face. ”Guess there be merit in that blondes have more fun. Startin’ to feel like I’m havin’ more of it as we speak!”

A pause followed, and the demeanour continued to shift back and forth. ”Alright, alright. If you’re not going to question it, I guess I don’t give a shit about the why either. And—“

Before Justice could finish the sentence, they felt a sensation on her freshly acquired bust. When it came to this, it almost surpassed the level of hands-on work Cheshire subjected the twins’ twins to in bed. A moan escaped their lips while she fixed her crimson pools on the feline. Justice seemed flabbergasted, and Anniken seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the continental claim with a pink spread across her cheeks and her lips curled into a provocative grin.

”Mmm…” she breathed, not hiding the mood the Shadowcat plunged her into with the vigorous kneading. Caught off-guard, she swallowed down a hoard of neglected saliva. Her body felt hot—which was also new, but she failed to comment on that right now.

”Well, ain’t got no theories on this little development here. Might be that whatever form I had before was sorta incomplete…” Anniken conjected, fixing her eyes on Cheshire’s form. ”Damn, after that handsy-ass session it ain’t easy puttin’ into words how much I wanna nail the fuck outta you right now.”

Evolution was an accurate way to describe it. It almost felt like she hit the requisite amount of blood and overcame the imperfection she previously exhibited. Even though she was interested in taking it out on a test run in certain ways, she was additionally interested in seeing if her power scaled to match the transition. After all, a feeling—call it intuition—surfaced within her that implied she might have full access to her abilities now. She felt lacking before.

And for some reason, the transformation did feel right. Though she could not find the “why,” it seemed as though everything had been leading up to this transfiguration. Now that she achieved this true maturity, everything had come full circle. Especially the aesthetic—she just could not for the life of her place why.

Chuckling at the implications, Anniken smirked.

”Ain’t nobody or anything gonna fit you like me, you got that right. You right, though. We ought to check out this situation, then head back and give you the goods; can barely hold it in as we speak,” she started. Indeed, she felt as though stuffing Cheshire held priority over anything else right now. The faster they finished the job, the better. “Got a good feelin’ this dude’s lyin’ through his teeth. Ain’t got no traitors in my guild, woulda known when I brought’em in.”

Yep, somethin’ fishy ‘bout this place… Anniken thought to herself while proceeding inside alongside Cheshire. Though the Godfather sensed the pheromones in the air, their nature impacted her less than the feline who wandered into the depths of the tavern in a stupor. Just like what I seen through my Eye.

Her resistance to this variety of influence stemmed from the most obvious characteristic about her; the Pleasure magic. Had she been influenced by that; it would mean each waking moment of every day her own Magic would induce the same effects on her. Jaded to it, she watched grandpas and unfaithful husbands consume food items ferried into their mouths by skimpily attired women. Her ears remained alert, and her tail remained horizontal and still, denoting neutrality and exploration.

”Well ain’t that shit a sight for sore eyes,” Anniken muttered, voice thick with sarcasm. The babes allured her, but the older men put her off. The blonde heard Cheshire talk about feeling weird, and she raised her brow. Concern laced her eyes when she directed her attention towards her. Are them the effects of my Magic?

”Give us a bit more info on how you feel, Chesh? Ain’t opposed to turnin’ back if this is too much. There’s strange Magic goin’ on here sorta similar to mine I think, but I don’t think it’s of holy-alignment like mine, that’s for damn sure."
