Tail wagging like an over-excited dog, Mercy cackled like a madwoman as the fairy looked around. She downed another shot and was suddenly grateful for the fact that the two were linked together. The world was beginning to sway and spin.
Her ears shot skyward at the teasing hand around her collarbone and her tail fuzzed out like a bottle brush as though zapped by electricity.

"Nooohh! I win furst!" Mercy argued and to demonstrate her point, downed another shot of CV. She wasn't sure if she was getting used to the burn now, or her nerves in her throat have withered away. Her taste buds were still alive and having rave parties, though.
She giggled as he threw an arm around her, reciprocating as her hand returned to his back… except this time instead of pinching his wing, she pinched his butt.

Mercy giggled as the fairy slammed down his shot. She tried to copy his vehemence, just because it seemed funny to do so. Except she neglected to slam her glass on the base and ended up tilting it over onto the curved side where it rolled off the table and shattered on the floor.
"Oopsie."
The fairy burped some more. Mercy burped too.
"Yeehaaaaaaa both!"

Rude. Mercy jerked back as she was flicked in the forehead. She when cross-eyed trying to keep track of the finger before giving up entirely in favour of downing another shot of CV.

There was a gagging sound, followed by retching. Mercy turned to stare at the poor sod who threw up on the ground. A shit-eating grin arched across her face as she enjoyed the show.
The grin only intensified into a bout of rambunctious laughter as she felt the insectoid wings slip out from her hand.
"BWAHAHAHAHA!"
The laughter was only ceased as she downed another shot, the motion starting to become reflexive at this rate. Armed with alcohol-induced confidence, she did the reverse of the fairy boy's orders. Her hand began stroking the pretty gossamer wings.

Mercy's eye twitched at the sound of a burp and she subtly tilted her head to stare at the fairy boy in her peripheral vision. She grabbed another glass and downed it as cogs whirled in her mind. Out of curiosity and on a stroke of impulsiveness, the celestial mage reached over and tried to grab hold of one of those insectoid wings.

Mercy had a low threshold to what was disgusting. She gulped down another and surveyed her opponents, her cunning brain already working out ways to possibly sabotage her way to victory. It was the way of Loki, but she was sure Odin wouldn't mind. Too bad she didn't possess the ability to shapeshift into a horsefly to bite people.
With her other hand underneath the table, she toyed with her Silver Keys wrapped to her belt. Could any of them assist?

Mercy had taken her place next to a winged boy only a couple of years older than herself. She paid him no attention as she grabbed the nearest shot, threw back her head and gulped it down. Liquid fired seared all the way down her throat and into her stomach.

Mercy's first exposure to booze had been on her 17th birthday, courtesy to Ivory and AJ. But mostly Ivory. It would've been more typical to have started younger, but alas. So, she had to make up for all the lost time.

[break] Ophiuchus, "The Snake Charmer" is a powerful Celestial Spirit whose Gate is referred to as the "13th Gate". Ophiuchus' appearance is that of a humongous snake-like creature, which, curiously enough, appears to be part organic and part mechanical in nature. The upper part of its body is covered in a series of massive dark scales, which possess prominent holes on their sides, starting as larger, with squared outer edges, getting more narrow near their centres and then enlarging again, something which makes every single hole look like a pair of rhombs joined together; the upper part of the head and the corresponding jaw are similarly coloured, with the reptile possessing light pupil-less eyes, a pair of massive fangs sprouting from the jaw, thin nostrils located on the front part of its nose and a series of dark motifs adorning its forehead, above the eyes. [break][break] [break] The key is depicted to be black in colour, ending in a spade-like tip that is connected to the key's bow by a dark serpentine figure that spirals around the blade of the key. The centre of the bow is black, stamped with the crest of the Snake Charmer, coloured in white, with the serpentine figure spiralled around it. [break][break] [break] The associated Ophiuchus Star Dress is made out of the scale-like plates overlapping with each other to create an impenetrable barrier. The scales are obsidian in quality with a purple sheen. The dress-like armour sport poisonous thorns, from the clawed gauntlets to the spiked pauldrons. This Star Dress grants Mercy poison magic. Mercy expected a reaction from the man, just not that. In fact, the ferocity at which the male presented to her caused Mercy's brow to shoot up into her bangs. Her surprise quickly morphed into smug cruelty as her voice adopted a sing song-like intonation. "Oh? Hit a little close to home?~"

Her taunt doubled as an attempt to mask her growing apprehension at the man's approach, and she stared warily at the swirling black ethernano. The teenager continued to twirl out of the way of the surrounding black wolves, narrowly avoiding their attempt to pin her down.

Fenrir meanwhile, continued to shake itself free from the swarm of clones. Mercy snapped her fingers and the Wolf turned it's attention onto her. Ignoring the fact that the clones were clinging onto its fur and such, the Spirit charged towards Sovereign, as the original was now easy to distinguish apart. The Wolf would attempt to launch itself at the man and snap its jaws around his throat.

At Blaze's rejection, Mercy's sinking heart was only saved by Ivory, who approached to fill the teenager's new mug up to the brim. It was no surprise why there was so much of a sticky alcoholic mess at that point. Mercy tried to lower the water level of her mug by quickly placing her mouth onto the rim and taking a generous gulp.
She had not expected the fiery burn of vodka. By some miracle of Odin, she was able to swallow the liquid hellfire. However, it was not without a whole lot of coughing and spluttering as her whole body wracked. In the end, she ended up spilling her vodka mug - all over Ivory's chest. And dropping the mug to the ground, where it shattered into a million pieces. Whoops.
In her coughing fit, she had neglected to notice that Blaze had transformed into a woman and when she stared back at the large breasted individual on the ground, she believed that they were an entirely different individual, and that perhaps the fox spirit had disappeared back into the celestial world from whence it came.
Perhaps saving the party from the chaos, if such a feat was even successful, AJ launched into the birthday rap. Mercy's pupils dilated, possibly from the dimming lights, but also possible from the sheer excitement coursing through her body. Her cheeks flushed in uncharacteristic shyness as the Godfather made towards her in a dance.
Being the sole focus of AJ's attention was a glimpse from heaven. Mercy clasped her hands together, a grin arching into her cheeks as she watched her favourite sister provide a concert dedicated solely to the teen. As black suited men flooded towards her with compliments and praise, Mercy stood, whipping her head around as she tried to absorb everything all at once. This was a night she would never forget. She wanted every single detail to be etched in her memory to eons to come.
When AJ strolled back towards Mercy, the teenager turned her head back to meet the Godfather's gaze as the music drew to a close in the background. The grand speech made Mercy's insides burn with a fiery warmth entirely separate from the vodka. She could have thought that she had died and gone to heaven right then and there.
Then, AJ presented her with something which Mercy had only ever seen of in pre-Calamity tomes and historical texts. Her lower jaw fell open as her eyes gleamed with excitement and awe. Her trembling hands accepted the Golden Key and she stared at it with breathless awe.
"Thank you." The murmured words were loud enough only for AJ to hear. Then, Mercy lunged forward to wrap her arms around the Godfather in a tight bear hug.
"I love you so much sis."
