Oh woe was he, the man who couldn’t even lift his head up to stare his savior in their face. He, the man who could not mutter anymore than the woes he hid in his heart.. Was she his guardian angel? Someone to deliver him from his suffering unto a new life of happiness and fulfilment? Probably not. He didn’t often like relying on others, when he got drunk it was on his own coin that he earned through hard work. That said, he wasn’t above accepting free help.
“I’m afraid not,” he answered the question of having anywhere to go first, “This fitch is the only home I’ve known for the past few hours. You would allow a man who looks so downtrodden as me to stay with you? You’re too kind. I could never intrude on your privacy like that… For I have no clothes on my back.” he sat up the best he could, placing one hand over hers.
“My name is Kenndal. And may I say your name is as lovely as you appear. Like fine woven silk against my ears, while your angelic appearance soothes my eyes with your divine radiance.”

Why did he keep doing this to himself? What was supposed to be a few days of drinking had turned into what felt like months. Bottle after bottle he drowned himself in booze all because he had money to blow and didn’t even think about saving even a scrap for a rainy day. It was fun, at first, he had gotten himself a nice room, and a few hot meals his first few days in town but before he knew it he was rolling out money on bottles of wine. Expensive bottles of wine in fact. When he ran out of cash the bar keep tossed him on his butt and somehow he was now in a ditch with nothing to his name but the clothes on his waist.
Laying in his ditch he reeked of alcohol, his loose white trousers stained with the reds of various wines, his hair was out of its usual ponytail and few strands clung to his face here and there. He was a mess of a man that was for sure.
In the light sleep her was in he could hear someone approach, a sweet voice asking questions to someone and he’d soon peek open an eye to realize that someone was him. Considering how concerned they were about his pitiful state it seemed they weren’t around for his bender the other night, perhaps he could make this work.
Ken feigned a cough and looked up at the other with a weak, puppy dog like, gaze. “O-oh I’m sorry, did I fall asleep in this ditch?” he looked around, pretending to be too weak to crane his head upwards to look around, “I must look like a fool… It’s just.” he sniffled, “I’ve lost so much and I have no where to sleep tonight because my horrible addiction to wine.” he was full on “crying” now. Would he be able to fool them?

Ken is a simple man, give him food or booze and he’ll be your friend. He’s bullheaded and arrogant but has no problem connecting with others. In fact, he’s quite good at making friends managed to charm others into carousing with him at times. He’s not the most loyal of people, he’s been burned too many times by others to want to commit to anyone or anything. He’s more than willing to stand up for others but he isn’t likely to stick around for them when it’s all said and done.

Rude and Arrogant, making enemies is a cake walk for Ken. That said, knowing that he has is another issue all together. He doesn’t take time out of his day to hate, he’d rather other people do that for him while he tries to reach his goals.

He has no love to give. Having seen what many of his relatives have gone through in terms of romance he hasn’t made any strides in this area so much so he’s never been in a relationship nor has he ever even been kissed. For a hedonist he may seem more tame with this bit of information but if he ever experiences love there will be a lot to give, so much he may just drown his lover in new untapped emotions of passion and desire. He’s oblivious to it, doesn’t understand it, and likely won’t return it without some coaxing.
