[attr="class","infosubtitle"] History
Men sought out a means to keep their throne, they were well aware of the incoming calamity and with such foolish dreams to combat the upcoming tragedy that would befall them they looked towards a means towards an end. A tool that was meant to carry out orders without any qualms to do so and for that they chose to meddle with both magic and science. Instead of waiting for the divine retribution that god was leading their way; they would tamper with the unknown and make a deal with the devil.[break][break]
The project dubbed Nocturne, it is how she came to become. A girl not borne of an exchange of love, no the Lacrima that acted as her heart and her soul was filled with magic of a demonic origin. She wasn’t the first one created, but was the first that could be considered a success to a certain degree. The powers that dwelled within the Lacrima didn’t mesh well with the other bodies, corrupting them or giving them a slow and painful death while in her case she seemed to be the only one that was at a stable level, still fighting for control but still capable of the tasks they needed.[break][break]
So when the days came when war ensued, she was employed with her objective being to slaughter those that stood in the kingdom even if that may be their very own people. The girl merely carried out her orders, being the incarnate of a devil that her creators wanted her to be. But with each bloodshed, every cry that called her a monster, it started to get to her and cause her to mentally start to crumble.[break][break]
And once the war ended, society being a former shell of it, she survived and had no one to order her as her superiors were victims of the struggles that ensued. This forced her to have to come up with her own decisions, but being a marionette with her strings just cut she couldn’t understand her purpose, the reason to why she still exists. Even more so that the war had given her injuries that made her powers a fraction of what they once were.[break][break]
There were times that she lashed out, screaming into the empty scenery around her. Where at other times she’d just contemplate as her eyes studied the wildlife that lived their daily lives. It was clear that she was searching for a new purpose, a new meaning all the while struggling to survive in this world that she still was very foreign to. Days became months. Months became years. She had met many souls within each day, her demeanour remaining untrusting and cautious towards all, but each encounter in her life gradually allowed her to develop some semblance of a normal persona rather than remaining to be an emotionless artificial being.[break][break]
And so when Aria, or so she named herself, happened to pass across a small settlement one day, perhaps the interactions of her past caused her to investigate it rather than avoid it. Her decision had caused her to come across kindred souls, ones that she felt a connection to in a peculiar way. It wasn’t like her to stay with others, but with times being more trying with groups of dangerous people being rather common perhaps it was a time to take a chance and delve into the unknown. This was the moment where the woman would come to become a member of Cait Shelter. [break][break]
Her magic made her well-tailored for helping out when it came to gathering and identifying specific plant-life, while although she still remains at only a fraction of her power in her prime Aria has gone out of her way to aid with tasks that require a strong arm. Was it just her being helpful, or was she unconsciously been trying to revert to her former self, it’s a matter that only time will decide what’s the truth.

[attr="class","infosubtitle"] Other
∙ Aria is an artificial human with the powers granted to her by the Lacrima that’s been implanted in her acting as both her heart and fuel to her powers. This bears an uncanny to the fourth generation dragon slayers.[break][break]
∙ Her devil slayer powers seem to be unstable at times, overuse of her magic can cause her persona to revert into a primal and destructive state while on a daily basis this can cause her to snap at times, especially when her emotions are at a rise.[break][break]
∙ Scars are numerous on her body, most large ones being hidden away by her clothes but the most prominent being the damage to her right eye. This is normally covered by a bang or an eye-patch, normally to avoid questions about it and her past. [break][break]
∙ Has an affinity towards animals due to the time that she spent on her own after the calamity as they seemed to give her a lot of company back then. This causes her to often be smitten by races that have a resemblance to animal kind, especially if they have a tail.[break][break]
∙ Aria is a smart and careful individual, with her trained for the sake of assassinations and killing it’s no doubt that she’s good with remaining out of sight and is good when it comes to quickly adapting to problems. Yet due to her lack of social interactions, she’s terrible when it comes to communicating her emotion. It takes her a while to think of words that she should say meaning she tends to stutter a lot.
