It was nice to know she was in this mission with someone who shared her love for the guild just as much. For Violet, it was a home and she could guess it was the same for Ivory. But that doesn't matter right now, instead of talking they should focus on the mission. "Don't think I have a problem with flying on a pegasus. Violet has failed to hit the creature with the first attack. It was so easy for it to slap her magic out of the way. She didn't think that would happen but she didn't give up. Anniken was watching her and she wasn't going to fail this. She didn't want to let Anniken help her in this. Her eyes were on the creature and it seems it wanted to attack again. That's why when the creature went for the tail swipe Violet dodged it right away. This time she was careful. [break][break]
After that, she would once again try using her magic. Just because the creature managed to deny it once it doesn't mean it is going to happen again. Right after the dodge a ball of concentrated shadows formed again in front of Violet and went right for the creature. Maybe she is going to be lucky this time and catch it by surprise.

MISSION BRIEFING: Strange things are happening in this world. Everyone has heard of vegan people and how they brag all day about that. But have you ever heard of vegan goblins? We know, it is weird, but it seems something like that is really happening. Some goblins turned vegans and they are destroying our crops of some rare plants. Take these seeds and plant them and while you do that gather the herbs that are ready to be picked up. After that spend the night in the green house or near it and make sure that you take care of every goblin that appears to steal and it our herbs. We noticed only two but there might be more than that so be careful. They may be vegan but that doesn't make them pacifists, they are as dangerous as normal goblins. Well, that was something new. Vi never heard of a vegan goblin, it was certainly something that she never met so she was curious about it. That's why she picked the mission and it seems she already had a partner for this. [break][break]
The problem was that the one that requested the mission might have mistaken the monster they are protecting the garden from. They might not be goblins that come and eat his herbs, it can be something else or an entirely new creature they didn't hear about until now. Her curiosity was grabbed and she wanted to see in which way she is going to update her monsterpedia. [break][break]
But until she could start this she was waiting for her partner. She got the plastic bags with different types of seeds in it and looked over them. She couldn't plant them in the wrong spot so she wanted everything to be ready when her partner comes. The plastic bags were ready and in the order, they should take. The leather bags in which they need to put the herbs were ready too. After that, she just sat down and relaxed looking at the surroundings to make sure that no goblin was around.

Hearing her voice Violet would smile and get up from her bench. She didn't waste any time as she put the pastry back in the paper bag it came with and went to Ivory giving her a happy hug. After releasing her from the hug she was a smile while listening to the info. "I see, and don't worry. My stomach can handle simple pastry~ It's easier when I don't eat shadows. Normal food doesn't affect me in a way like it does to others." She would smile as she gave herself a pat on the stomach. After that, the happy air around Vi has changed. [break][break]
She put her serious face on and nodded at Ivory once again. "I understand. I will try to stay out of the way if the man is too dangerous and support you however I can. We need to get rid of this garbage that dared to raise its hand against my sister." She should have said the guild, but for her, someone that was born in the guild. Once again her sister gave Violet another dangerous mission. But once again the sister sent someone with Violet that she trusts and knows that the person will make sure she is going to be safe. Ivory Volkov, a very close person to her sister. Violet thinks they are lovers, but she is not sure since she saw her with some other cat. It made her chuckle seeing her with a black-haired cat person. Since her sister couldn't have Violet she settled for the next best thing. But it doesn't matter to her if she was happy she wasn't going to judge her choice. That's all she wanted anyway, for her sister to be happy and for this guild to be successful and the best one that exists. [break][break]

It was nice to eat a shadow, it felt just right to her. She didn't like to eat those from objects too much, they had a different taste from a human one, even animal ones had a different taste. There were all kinds of tastes you can get from shadows and she probably tasted them all for now. But that wasn't the point here. The point was that she told Kasumi her magic and what she can do. She sat next to Kasumi on the couch and relaxed. It was like they knew each other for ages. Violet didn't take into account personal space. She just sat there like they knew each other for years and they were best friends. "Hmmm, well. I haven't been in too many honestly. My sister keeps watch over me and tests me. So all I could do until now were the ones that didn't pose any danger to me. The dangerous one she would join me or she would send someone she trusts with me." Just a moment of distraction was all that was needed to be on the receiving end of an attack. She was hit by the bull snake thing and damaged by it. She was thrown a few steps back but she didn't fall. Lucky for her the pull wasn't strong enough to cause too much damage to her. She will surely be bruised after this fight. [break][break]
Her sister was watching her so she had to win this without her interfering. A moment it took her to recover and right away she made a counter. Suddenly a ball of concentrated shadows appeared in front of her and was fired right away at the creature. If the full ability hits it should make the fight easier for her.

Huh, so reinforcement magic. That was pretty useful in some cases. And her specialties are quite handy in some areas she is not good at yet. Violet's tail was swaying left and right, listening to the girl telling her about what she can do and how she can be useful. It seems that the girl realized why she was asked those questions, and surprisingly she didn't find it rude at all. It was a relief. Violet didn't want to be scolded by her big sister just because someone thought she was rude for asking those questions. But that wasn't the important part right now. After she listened to everything and nodded she was asked the same question. [break][break]
"Hmmm, my magic you ask." It was quite easy to tell her just the name and she would know right away. Violet doesn't think there is anyone in this world that doesn't know what a slayer is. But just telling her like that would be boring, and the pastry she had didn't do anything to her hunger. That's why Violet got closer to her. Close enough that she would end up on her lap if she moved more. Kasumi could hear her sniffing a bit before she moved her hand. That's when she just grabbed her shadow and pulled back, dragging Kasumi's shadow with her and bringing it to her mouth. [break][break]
"This is my magic~" With a smile on her face she placed the shadow between her lips and started to slurp it. It was like watching someone slurp down a long wide black pasta. She kept going like that until it was all gone. It wouldn't hurt the girl at all, she wouldn't feel anything. Maybe a cold shiver or something but other than that it was safe for Violet to do this to people. [break][break]
She licked her lips and smiled. "Quite tasty~" She pulled back from the girl and her tail moved faster behind her. Violet did enjoy the taste of a shadow more than anything. "As you can see I am a Shadow Slayer. And specialties I have none. I plan to become a Jack of all Trades. I want to help the guild as much as I can and that would be the best solution."

Lucky for Violet there was only one of them. That means that she won't have too much work to do. Maybe after she defeats this one her sister won't treat her so badly. Even if she is lazy when she stays in the guild she works hard for it however she can. Taking missions that always benefit the guild. Yet, it seems that her sister didn't know much about that since she told her to stop eating so much and to move more. She just sighed and nodded not saying anything else except. "Yeah, i know. There wasn't much need for her to use scent or any special sense to find the creature. Since it was pretty big it did leave a trail to wherever it goes, that if it's on the soil. There were no paved roads here to they won't have problems finding it. And since her sister was going to make her do this by herself means that they are not that strong either. Violet kept walking on the trail that leads to the beast and looked around carefully. She didn't want to be caught off guard by it and then have her sister come in for the save and then scold her even more. [break][break]
She had her claw ring with her and if she was lucky her spells would cause the creature to go blind. That should make for an easier killing, but there would also be the problem if it going on a rampage when it goes blind. She might need to learn some spells that hold own the enemy too.

Mmmm, rainy days were one of the things Violet enjoyed most. She was happy that this morning she woke up early to get to the bakery she likes. From there she got some pastry and a whole apply pie that she can enjoy. Violet was sitting in the lobby of the guildhall, relaxing on a couch, a book in her hand and a pastry in her mouth. She was nibbling on it without using her hands, crumbles on her chest and some on the floor. Violet didn't care too much about who saw her like that, she was too focused on her book. [break][break]
Her ears flicked a bit when she heard the door open. From her book, Violet looked up and wanted to see who it was. She didn't know the person but the scent they had was familiar, even if it was a bit wet. Violet watched her get on one of the free couches and was wondering how she should say something. Maybe ask something obvious, or just a simple hi would work too. "So it's still raining bad outside. That's good, means that I am going to have some free time to relax from missions."

It is official. Violet needs to learn how to hide when she wants to be lazy. There she was relaxing on a couch when her sister picked her to go on a mission. Violet didn't refuse since it was for the guild and of course, her sister personally asked her. But if she wasn't seen she wouldn't have gone ahead and picked a mission for today. Violet would have stood on that couch and probably slept all day. Just like a real cat would. Maybe that or go enjoy some pastry with different fillings, but most of the fillings would consist of apples. [break] [break]
Since she was already caught and dragged in the mission she was now following her sister. Seems that they had to deal with some half-cow half-snake thing during this mission. And if they did that then some of the 'help' they get will double. That sounded like a great deal since it means they won't have to work for some resources as much. So that's why they were in this mission. It should be an easy one since the guild master of the guild was with her. But she had this feeling that Anniken would test her during this mission. She probably wants to make her do the whole fight and just help in case she is in trouble. [break] [break]
"So what exactly is this thing we have to hunt? And it's only one or there is more than one?" As she was waiting for the answer she noticed Anniken getting down and checking a trail. Judging by that it seems that there is only one of them. That or they walk in line one after another. "Can you tell how far it is or if there is more than one?" She follows after her and looked around. Since there was a trail of it it might be close and she has to be ready for anything.
