Fenrir succeeded in biting into the boar, tearing out a chunk of its flesh for good measure, as did Topax's fireball land true. Gullinbursti was still positioned in the middle between Topax and Fenrir, thus the pig absorbed the majority explosion, leaving the wolf relatively unscathed.

Fenrir pounced once more, this time with the intention of raking its disproportionately enormous claws against the backside of the boar.

Mercy stood watching the affairs with an eagle eye.

However, Gullinbursti, as though having had enough of its torment, had begun charging at full speed towards Topax, lowering its head down to stab the jagged remains of its horn into the feline.

 And yet, the fractured ivory protrusions could barely draw blood. The blue felid did not move, but dared the creature to approach. The impact's momentum drove him backwards, but its face was clutched with an ironclad grip, merciless and unconcerned with bunching its visage into makeshift handles.

His hands were overtaken by a raging flame, its crackle like a cackle. Topax continued to slide backwards, arched forward with a form stiff with resolve and resentment. He attempted just that. His muscles jerked, arms tearing to the side. Flame spilled forth of its own accord. It was not fashioned into a stylistic attack, but instead the byproduct of a hate-filled action performed with potent - pungent vehemence.

"Holy fuckin' shit." Mercy whispered, her voice glowing with awe. She watched with great fascination as the felid delivered the death blow. The heat was immense, that even standing from several metres away, she was able to feel the heat against her bare skin.
Gullinbursti stood not a chance. Its entire front half became razed with fire, flesh shrivelling away to expose charred bone and sinew. What was left of its blood and various bodily fluids literally boiled away from the heat.
Fenrir, as though aware that there was nothing it would do that could top Topax's attack, withdrew back into the Celestial World of its own accord. Not that Mercy blamed him.
The tremendous power at which Topax had exerted on the creature to snuff out the rest of its miserable life, caused Mercy to fall to her knees as she stared at the blue creature.
"Holy fuckin' shit." She repeated.

His gaze fell atop the cadaver, cast down in such a way as if to suggest trash lay there before him. He had nothing else to say. He fished around a jacket pocket, back still turned to the onlooking woman behind him. Drawing the item he plucked from its horn prior, he silently stared at it for but a fleeting moment. Another glance downwards towards the now still beast and he closed his eyes. Topax allowed a barely audible sigh to escape him - more a grunt, low and barely existent.
A kettle that had been unplugged, animosity clung to his bestial eyes akin to waning steam. He turned on a pivot and began walking. Casual, although slightly curious as the form was foreign in and of itself, he appeared to stride directly towards Mercy.
He drew nearer, the girl now finding purchase upon he knees, and it was then was she able to note she was not directly within his trajectory. No, for when he could grow no closer to her, he passed her by without so much of a glance her way. If she were to look back to give him pause, to simply watch him leave - it was too late.
He was already gone, evanesced through sheer celerity.

It was a humbling moment for the cocky teen to see what an actually powerful creature was like. Sure, Mercy had seen the awesome power at which her sister wielded, but it was never so potentially malignant towards her. This… thing on the other hand, growing trepidation was beginning to seep into her senses as she wondered if it was going to turn its violence towards her.
The Odin's Spear mage found herself involuntarily trembling and she held her hands against her chest, as though terrified that her heart might fall out at any moment. She could hear his pawsteps approaching… and then leaving.
All thoughts regarding Mister Pirate was gone now. The sheer frivolousness at which she placed upon the cat, regardless of adorableness, was hilarious. And now, as though overtaken by fear and madness, Mercy threw back her head and laughed. A maniacal nonsensical laughter that exploded forth from her chest as her tremors turned into vigorous shaking.
Come on now, lil’ sis. Laugh with me. If you don’t convince yourself to enjoy it, then the only thing it’s gon’ do is drive you crazy
