"I guess time will tell, eh?" The expectation of bedding the man was becoming more evident as time went by. It was natural, though, for a vampire to sample her.. wares. It wouldn't be the first time, nor would it be the last.
"The parameters are the same as always, I expect discretion. If you fail to be discreet, annihilate any witnesses. I suspect we'll be having to take out some witnesses here, this mark knows he's being hunted -- we were the second in line for hire, after our client's first failed. The mark is being protected by a mage, so it's no wonder the first attempt was failed."
The town was just in sight now; it's modest size evident from their view, where no borders of protection were witnessed. Anyone could get in an out from any direction, a poor statement for the town's wealth. She reached into her bra, pulling out a neatly folded piece of parchment before tossing it over to him. Draw upon it was a map of the settlement and an red X marking the location of the mark's inhabitance, along with a small and rough sketching of his facial appearance and name. "Find him, kill him. I'll watch."
To test his ability to read something as simple as a map, she left immediately after, once more poofing with nothing but an echo of her trailing behind. She'd head to the target's abode, waiting for the man to make his way there as discreetly as possible. Her speed allowed her discretion even without trying, given most non-magical humankin could not see her movement.
Ankh Khonsu For the record, I do average around 150-300ish haha; minimum effort from me! Sowwie! <3 Also feel free to just ramble straight into your entire progress through the house/etc; since she's watching it would make sense. But if you're not comfortable with that, I'm fine with a slower progression too, either way can work~ I'll request modded before the mark is killed -- we can have the mage mercenary/bodyguard be there to disrupt the process. Ankh pursed his lips but listened as the female began to speak about the parameters of his mission and the use of discretion. Had she recruited the right man? Did she not just see that he literally boiled a man down to the bone using a powerful acid-based magical spell? Perhaps that was the way it was meant to be all along. Not that it mattered much now. His magic allowed him to use a variety of different magics through the use of gambling, through the use of rolling an ethereal dice and letting it choose what he would do.
He had a little control over it, of course. But not as much as he would if he wasn't still wounded from fighting that young man with the binding magic. He was once a powerful demon after-all, too bad fate decided he had to start from scratch. Taking the map in hand he did little beyond wink at the nothingness as she vanished. Damn she was fast...scarily so. Though he wanted to showcase to her that he was more than just a one trick pony. There would be no need to teleport. There were other ways to accomplish traversal issues.
He'd take a step into the village casually, looking about the paper without much of his attention going to anyone else. He tried his best to keep the sides of buildings while staying on the road, so that he didn't draw attention to himself. It didn't take long before he would find himself ducking off to the side streets, waiting patiently and letting fate decide if he would be caught, risking his luck more and more as he ran at inopportune times, casually building himself a bit of karma as he moved in a reckless, though exhilarating manner. The bastard.
By the time he reached the abode, he would finally have a chance to use his magic. Watching a man walk around the side of the building, almost catching him, he tossed the dice at high speeds at the man and watched as he popped out of existence. Appearing a few dozen meters away from the village over forty feet into the air, plummeting to his death out of sight and out of mind from the villagers whom went about their business, what little business that was. Closing his eyes he rolled, Transformation! He became the man he just killed.
He seemed disgusted as he made his way into the complex, no one questioned his arrival. As if he was just another guard on duty. Reaching the outside of the room in which the target was located...he told the guards at the gate that he was here to swap shifts early. A gamble, but it paid off. Each man seeming thankful that they got to head off to the town's only drinking hole to cool off. With potential obstacles removed, he entered the chamber. Walking closer towards the target. He held off on attacking, charging up his potential strike. "Sir."
