Diorite town treasure hunt [Closed/Mission]

MISSION NAME:Diorite town treasure hunt
CLIENT: Treasure hunter
CHARACTERS: Sersi , Maria Fay
MISSION BRIEFING: A treasure hunter has come across a treasure in the the ruins of Diorite town but he can't reach them because it's guarded by a malicious tree spirit. Who has taken over a nearby tree and doesn't seem too keen on letting others get close. Including near the treasure. Defeat the tree spirit and he has promised to share part of the treasure with you.
On the edge of the ruins Maria could spot a young girl in rather disappointingly ragged clothes. Since that was their meeting spot the young wizard assumed she must be the treasure hunter who spread the task around various towns. She ran towards the supposed treasure hunter waving her hand.
"Hey there, did you post those flyers?" Maria asked the girl once she neared her. She could see the girl was pretty young, not much older than Maria herself was. She didn't know how many people would be coming here, but there was always a chance that more would come.
"That's right! Let's just wait a bit. I'm sure more people will be coming." It seemed the girl really hoped a lot of people would come to find the treasure. Still the ruins could be dangerous and that tree spirit sounded like trouble too. Well they'll see how bad it i'll be once they're inside. For now all they could do was wait and hope.

Outside the ruins of a Diorite town spoke a blonde woman and a young girl, no doubt about the task at hand. Sersi had chosen to partake in this task alongside another mage who was likely the blonde and knew his magic would be fairly useful in quelling the angered apparition. Unfortunately he'd been running a bit late and so above the duo of mages in the sky, dark clouds would begin to quickly form and crack with lightning.
In a mere instance, lightning would flash to the earth with the powerful boom of thunder resonating throughout the area. White smoke swirling over the blackened crater left behind would give birth to a tall man in a black cloak, shadows concealing his features; save for a glowing green dot on the center of his forehead. A large scythe hanging from his back and his hands coming up to slowly remove the hood to further reveal a brown skinned mage with a small smile forming on his features to greet the two.
"I'm here to assist." Sersi confirmed, simply to ease any of the tension left from his arrival that might not have been static in origin. The clouds quickly vanishing as if they hadn't existed and the sounds of thunder rolling off into the distance, the duo of mages now complete for the mission.

Since the clouds were gathering the two girls simply went to hide under a roof of the ruins in case it would rain. That said the lightning did gave both girls a spooked face, if only because the lightning stroke so nearby so suddenly. After which both would shook their head in disapproval once it was clearly the work of the black mage in front of them.
"That entry certainly was... flashy." Maria said sarcastically. Trying her best to remain polite, but not being able not to commend in his rude entry.
"Alright! Almost time to get going! We can introduce ourselves on the road. This part of the ruins aren't dangerous anyway." The young woman said after the man in black arrived. Heading deeper in the ruins. Maria just sighed and followed her.
"My name is Aria! Our destination is not very far from here but we should keep in eye out just in case. She wasn't walking very fast, but she didn't seem to take much care about not being seen at all.
I'm Maria, you're certain it's not very dangerous? She asked the client, unsure about how they just waltzed inside the ruins. Post 2 | Word count 196 | total word count: 361 |
