Sleep.
The world slipped away and a timeless sheet of black settled over his vision. Perhaps it transitioned into a fleeting world impossible to recall. It all took place in Odin's Spear Headquarters and by Notorious Big, who had found residence there. Its guild master did not only permit him to stay the night either – she did much more than that.
A large, odd man like Big seemed like someone that would never think to keep his hygiene in check, but there he was, washing and soaping it up as morning came. Fresh and ready for the day – not at all with the same air he possessed prior to his meeting with the guild master.
...Somewhat.
Exiting his own room and closing the door behind him, he rose up slightly, then pulled himself right to the floor in one swift motion. His hands met with the floor, rump rising into the air as his nose sniffed about the portion of ground beneath and before him. It searched about the immediate area – his nose, that is, and with one final, lengthy breath, his head perked up.
“FIRST MISSION!” he declared suddenly. He sprung back upon a pair of sturdy feet and in a burst of speed, went from zero to hundred into a sprint that melted his form into a smear of motion. He charged violently without restraint as he mercilessly followed familiar scents.
“FIND CHESHIRE AND KASUMI!”

The early bird gets the worm.
While most occupiers of the dorm would be asleep at this moment or in the middle of waking up, the purplette believe in forging her body to achieve peak human. That means 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and a 10km run every day regardless of the weather condition as early as dusk. Of course there were some days which she absolutely hate herself for such a strict regiment. One such day were today where she had just barely recovered from the hangover thanks to the doctor's hangover cure.
Currently she was on the veranda of the building wearing tank top and shorts as opposed to her regular outfit. Her body glistened with sweat from the workout and her breathing was rather erratic. Taking the bottle of water, she began to douse herself with it to cool her head down when she felt a shiver down her spine. Said shiver was derived from the ruckus made somewhere within the building. Her instinct told her something was approaching though she cannot ascertain as to what. It can hardly be anything dangerous, the Godfather would have inform them beforehand if something like that were on the loose.
Regardless the purplette would peer at the entrance at the source of said ruckus.

But this was one such occasion where she found herself alone for the night, as AJ had other matters to attend to, even after whatever affairs she may have had with the strange mutant creature that they brought back a little while ago.[break][break] So there she was, sprawled out across a couch in the lounge, an unopened bottle of her favorite wine cradled between her bosom as other less fortunate bottles laid empty around the sofa. Clad in her preferred attire of a tank top and stretchy yoga pants, the position in which she slept in did inadvertently show off how flexible she was, but at the same time, it wasn't all too healthy for her bones and muscles over time. A single leg draped over the backrest of the couch while she laid on her back, and the back of her head barely made contact with anything as it hung out of the cushion. Heck, the only thing keeping her entire body on the couch was the weight of her lower body. Perhaps her genetics have truly blessed her, otherwise she'd have slipped and bumped her head on the ground.. to which she probably wouldn't even wake up from.[break][break] It's become almost a routine for her at this point, and if anyone wanted to look for her, they'd simply have to ask one of the regulars. Kasumi, for instance, would've been able to pinpoint her location almost immediately without even batting an eye. That's how common her drunk binges have gotten in recent times. Confusion, chilled to the point of shiver – all was justified. Something monstrous was doing little but thinking of this one person, smelling that one person, and tearing his way towards this one person as if driven by an unfounded, titanic desire. This person was Kasumi Ito . The first scent Big's nose seized was her's and her activity made it ever-the-more easy for his nose to find her.
The veranda was tainted by a blur. Its feet were pushed in opposition to the momentum and in a burst that swept the immediate area with a gale from his sheer speed and abrupt halt, Big stopped inches away from Kasumi. His expression bled with a flux of satisfaction and glee; but there was something very different from the aura he possessed during their initial meeting.
“Found you...!” he thrummed in a sing-song voice, though with a tone creepier than it was likely meant to have. “Master has tasked me with finding you and Cheshire... as a test!”
That was all he said before his head whipped around and he stsarted sniffing at the air. With a pause in the whole of his body and its movements, a knowing, toothy grin surfaced in his silence.

Lo and behold, it was the very mutant which Cheshire and her work together to subdue. Despite his size, he was able to move at an incredible speed to the point he whipped up a gust of air from his little sprint. Had he been brimming with the aura he possesed back then, Kasumi would have chosen to adopt a combat stance to brace herself against Big's charge. Instead, he had given off a different vibe...which dispel any concern that this was an unforeseen assault.
Not completely though. The creepy tone Big used when he declared he had found her made her mentally wary of him. If this was indeed how he chose to talk from now on, it would definitely take quite a bit to get used to. Nodding towards him in response, she tilted her head slightly upon hearing Big's test.
"A test to find us? This is the first time I heard anything about it."
Kasumi rest her cheek on her palm slightly, trying to remember details of what had happen last night. If the Godfather had arrange this task for them back then, her memory of it were extremely hazy at best. Perhaps she needed to confirm the detail first, that may dispel the fog that clouded her memory.
"What did the Godfather say exactly?"

“Hm?”
Big's attention snapped back to Kasumi. There was a pause, a short-lived lull where he was just staring at her. Then his head fell upon a subtle tilt. A smile broke through his visage's surface and straightening his neck, he brought a finger to a puckered pair of lips.
“Maybe I'll tell you...” he teased, drawing his hand back down as his physique moved into one that suggested he was about to enter into a mad dash. “But you'll have to catch me first!”
It was not a change in task. He still was about to search for Cheshire. The scent was already pulling him in that direction before he'd taken a single step. Before one could notice, he already dashed off in that direction.
The lounge. Kasumi could likely surmise that was where he was moving if she were following – but perhaps she knew where Cheshire would be anyway regardless of her glimpsing his possible destination.
He skid to a halt and when his momentum dried up, burned completely away, Big's face was hovering inches away from Cheshire's who was sprawled out across a coach.

Even from afar, she already looked to be in a sense of discomfort while she slept. Her eyes twitched and her face looked squinted and scrunched, as though she was having a nightmare. "What the fuck!" She jumped. Hilariously high, in fact, for someone without the superhuman capabilities that some other mages possessed, and almost bumped her head on the roof. Thankfully, she landed back on the couch, but it's not like she'd stay there for long, what with the creepy individual sneaking up on her like that. Instinctively, she hopped behind the couch and grabbed one of the bar stools, pointing the feet outward and using it as a shield of sorts to defend herself, in case that dude had any funny thoughts. Kasumi's brow lifted slightly in anticipation of Big's answer. Everything about how Big conducted himself was quite puzzling in her opinion. Then there was the creepy smile he gave when he gave his answer. A game of tag? Not quite what she had expected in first place but it was not as if she had anything important to do. Before she could give her reply however, the mutant dashed out of the way like a bat out of hell. "Playful one isn't he?" she said to no one but herself. The magical energy around her body concentrate around her body before they burst with a snap. A trail of blur followed behind her as she dashed after, sparks flying off the carpet before as she chase after. As Big have stated his reason earlier, the destination was quite obvious. The familiarity of the building allowed her to carve a quick path to get the two. Just in time as well, with how surprise Cheshire look it appear to be quite certain that she would smack Big with the chair if the purplette left them alone. "Calm down Chesh. I don't believe he meant any harm."Kasumi stated as she get in between Cheshire and Big, glancing at one and the other. He could not help but giggle in response. The reaction was wondrous, apparently, as Big began laughing instead of providing the woman with the answer she sought – or at least barked as a result of her doubtlessly waning hysteria.
His laughter began to taper after a question was posed to him. It was an easy one to answer.
“Just to find you two!” he said. As the couch was free, he decided to occupy it. “I've been recruited! See?” He stuck out his tongue to unveil Odin's Spear guild tattoo.
“Master said just to do this thing. What comes after, she said was up to you two.” He flopped across the couch on his back.

The mutant revealed the tattoo signifying his guild membership on one of the most unlikeliest of places, his tongue. Why he would want it be there was anyone's guess but other than a slightly raised eyebrow, Kassie offered a slight nod signifying she was also satisfied with his proof of allegiance. Ultimately it was up to Big where he want the tattoo to be.
"I'm in the assassination business. Malicious intent is something I dealt with on everyday basis."
When Big took a seat at the couch, Kassie decided to follow his suit but next to Cheshire. Personally she had no idea on what to do next but since the guild master said it was up to them on what happen next, she supposed she had to think hard on where to lead them.
"Depends on what you meant by funny I suppose."
The purplette still remembered being pantsed by Cheshire and though retaliation come swiftly, she was a little sore on the subject. Of course, she wouldn't exactly want Big pantsing her or anything but she would be a bit looser when it comes to definition of funny business.
"Well, why don't we start with introduction. Tell us more about yourself, what should we call you and such."Kassie said, turning towards the mutant while doing so.

The atmosphere was grave; but despite this, Big was completely unphased. How his head bobbed subtly back and forth as if there was a song stuck in his head evidenced that. There was some talk of downing him if he got to uppity, some warnings to keep those impish eyes to himself – but all in all, he seemed perfectly content sitting there listening to the two of them.
“I'll tell you about me,” he echoed as he pulled a card out of his pocket. “I'm called this, I think!” The I.D read 'Notorious Big.'
“I'm from a lab from what I can remember.” He placed a contemplative finger beneath his chin. “Back then, I believe I was called Crimony – or at least that was the very first memory of mine; so, feel free to call me that too!”
There was a slight pause.
“And that's my life so far! How are your lives going?”

Crimony?
Kasumi was not the type to swear or curse but if she had to, that particular word would be her choice. She remembered saying it the first time she met Notorious Big though it was moreso an exclamation of surprise than addressing him as that. Taking the card from his hand, she would read it silently before flashing it to Cheshire. It looks like the drug wiped out all his previous memory from before the transformation...at least that's what he claimed. Handing the ID card back to him, she glanced at Cheshire's direction who was nodding off.
"I see. Then welcome to Odin Spear Mr Big." Kasumi replied after his introduction, bearing a soft smile on her lips.
When Mr Big ask about their well being, it was Cheshire who answer first. This time it was her turn to be surprised, especially since the subject of death being thrown casually. Her brows were furrowed slightly, clearly uncertain how to take this piece of news.Of course she only witnessed one such transformation before so her experience on the matter was rather limited.
"What do you mean you finally die? Don't you just turn into one?"

Big had a way of injecting fun into things, but he also had a way of taking the fun out of things. For example, the titanic implications and weight of Cheshire's response evoked a familiar gesture from Big. He stuck his index finger to his chin and slightly tilted his head and as a result, oozed inquisitiveness. Instead of exploding into a panicked frenzy, he suggested through body language that he was not quite sure of the meaning behind Cheshire's words.
Besides that, the only response thusfar from Big has been a genuine smile in reply to Kasumi's greeting. He supplemented it with a wave as well despite her neither arriving nor leaving.
“Well!” He said with his finger still pressed against his chin. “I know what a vampire is and they're cool! I think it's because I can relate! If I get too hungry, I can't use these new abilities of mine; so I just have to eat things and people – you know how it is, but whole. It sounds nice to just need the blood.” His brows furrowed with a subtle portion of envy.
