Set pre-Topaz's death…
It wasn't often did Koji venture beyond the borders of Rhyolite Village, for which he had many reasons: protection of the town, guidance for his members, to name a few. Another reason was one he not often encountered. And yet was the most currently pressing.
Currently, Koji was dashing across the nearby forest, weaving in and out of trees with his intrinsic feline grace. He hurdled over a fallen log, just in time to dodge an arrow that appeared there a second later. Behind him he heard the sound of hungry and excited cries of his pursuers.
It didn't help that Koji was carrying a large rucksack of supplies: mostly food and medicine. Not that the raiders would know that the relatively meagre belonging. All they saw was a lone traveller and a backpack stuffed with mysterious items.
