'That's odd.', Chalice wondered, his body seemingly appearing out of thin air as he began his first few steps through the grotesque town of Scoria. "I'm sure this place used to be nicer..." His feet crushed a small skull of one of the many corpses that littered this place. He was told there was an invasion of undead on earthland recently, though he wouldn't have known that since he had been held prisoner by his sibling, Musca.
A voice called out to him, an old man in the distance running towards him as fast as he could. He was short and fat, with a white beard that covered his lower face. Chalice did as asked, and stopped in his tracks before watching the stranger approach him in a hurry. Although this person seemed as if he was in great distress, Chalice watched him with an expressionless face and no sense of urgency.
"You look worried. And you also requested my assistance, please inform me on the details of your current situation." He would calmly say, almost as if reciting something.
Catching his breath, the old man bent over and leaned on his knees, "My- My daughter has been kidnapped. We were doing a supply run through the underbelly but some bandits took her, as well as the goods. Please help, just save my daughter!"
Chalice didn't move a muscle, nor did his expression change. He just took a deep breath and rolled his eyes, humans were so strange. "I suppose I could try."
