Lincoln Vargas, the de facto Prince of Dragons, and he who is known as the 'Wings of War' for his might, courage and ferocity in battle. Lincoln was born from the prophesised union of a human and a dragon; a skilled Celestial Spirit Wizard priestess, Gabrielle, forced to flee her home country, and the mighty King of the Dragons, Vargasus. His parents' romantic involvement alone was controversial, as they were initial introduced with the prospect of Vargasus actually being Gabrielle's bodyguard, tasked by the woman's mother to protect her daughter - the reason for Gabrielle having to flee her home being that magic was illegal to even discuss, let alone use. The day a Councilman caught a glint from one of Gabrielle's keys was when her comfortable life ended.

Gabrielle's mother had been a longtime friend and ally to both Vargasus and Dragonkind in secrecy. Naturally, Vargaus was her first choice to protect her daughter. She herself also had a form of Premonition, a psychic gift to see the future; she knew fully that Gabrielle and Vargasus would create the perfect heir, a hybrid of two species with a long, shared history. Their child would be playfully named Lincoln, a coy reference to his status as a 'link' between human and dragon.

Gabrielle would soon pass away after being forced to over-use her Magic in defense of her child against an assassin, with Vargasus having been pre-occupied handling a Giant intent on devouring the priestess and the young boy, breaking the Dragon's heart and sending him on a raging flurry. The damage he caused in retaliation to Gabrielle's death was near cataclysmic. But there was a light at the end of the tunnel; despite most of Gabrielle's keys being lost in the struggle, one was kept safe by Vargasus himself - the Key of the Water Bearer, Aquarius. Following Vargasus' departure from the boy's life for his own safety, the Celestial Spirit would become his guide and mother-figure.

Aquarius raised Lincoln from when he was just fourteen years of age, so naturally the two had arguements as he aged. But regardless, the pair are like family now, with Aquarius having even taught him basics in Water Magic, just as his parents had taught him their own signature magics Celestial Spirit Magic and Enchantment. But it was a magic he picked up on his own that truly shone through as his calling, his own signature magic; Requip: The Knight. Lincoln can requip like no other, capable of swapping weapons, clothing and even armours at lightning speed. His prowess with it, along with a particular incident involving his Dragon Soul, earned him the epithet of 'Wings of War'.

However, despite the apparent aggression implied by such a name, Lincoln is actually a rather sweet person. He is caring and generous with peak elegance (Aquarius brutally made sure of that...), he is noble, determined, strong, courageous and honourable. But he is also quite headstrong, to Aquarius' dismay, and at times, even stubborn, Along with that, he can also prove very defensive about subjects he admires, having once challenged a man to a fight after he objectified Aquarius. And even someone as gentle as Lincoln has a limit to their patience and temper. Aquarius herself commonly notes that Lincoln has the graceful, golden heart of his mother and the undying pure soul of his father...in more ways than one. He also has an apparent weakness for animals and whatnot; he cannot resist greeting one, if it is willing to be approached.
