Orion shuddered at the thought of his alcoholism plus his the thirst of blood from vampirism together. If blood is as intoxicating as his booze, then it would be some real trouble right there. Orion would be worse for wear instead, and would probably go insane in just a few short days. No, better stay human.

Oh, my magic!" The god slayer grinned, displaying sparks of his black lightning on his finger tips, making it danced to a phantom melody that played in his head. "I'm a god slayer, specifically the current lightning god slayer." A lost magic, he wasn't sure if Ivory had heard of the magic. Honestly, most people have not, and it didn't bother the man.

"The black lightning is a by-product of my magic. A...trait of the magic, if you will." He always liked the colour black anyway, so it never bothered the man at all.

Definitely obscure. If it were before the Calamity, Slayer Magic had been more well-known, especially since Lost Magicks were something of a collection for the big guilds. However, as the years past after the Calamity, knowledge was lost to the world. And with it, Slayer magic.

"Mhm, God Slayer." Orion nodded, taking a sip from his mug, "It's magic that is supposed to be used to slay gods. And with the slaying, comes the taking of said god's power for one's own." The text he learned the magic from had explained it as such. Word for word. Orion really didn't buy the last bit.

"I've head of Dragon and Demon Slayers, all from the same family with different affinities. Odin though, is not a name I'm familiar with. Probably not a lightning god then?" Orion grinned. The realm of the divine has only opened to him once, and he was really unsure whether he should even call himself a slayer when he couldn't measure up against that one he met.

"Powerful? No, no, you misunderstand." Orion scratched his head. He supposed that the description he gave was akin to someone boasting. Orion was far too drunk to boast about anything, especially his magic. Magic was just magic, after all, and even a simple cleaning magic spell can become the most deadly spell if used by a mind that was twisted. Magic was just that, magic.

Orion shrugged, "God of a lot of things, I suppose. They're all like that from what I've read." The man was not a believer of any gods. Orion knew better. If there truly was a deity up there, then the world would not have been fucked over and over again. "Do you really believe it then? A god?"

"I suppose you're right," Orion nodded, even though it really didn't convince him to drop the subject from his mind. Gods, demons, and dragons. All of them vying for supremacy in their mythological arena. Not one truly cared about the humans who exist around them. Orion had read about it, about the destruction these monsters would cause. At least, that's what it said on the fairy tails he's read.

Then he was invited to dance. "Uh, have you seen me?" Orion pointed to his own physique. Big, brawny, and very wide. "I'd likely block the whole dance floor by just standing there!" Orion laughed out loud. "Plus, I only dance with ladies, and you might be a pretty boy, but still not enough to entice me."

Orion took a drink, looking around the room full of half-drunk men and women fooling around. There was a song playing somewhere, and some were dancing to the tune. He found himself daydreaming about a certain blue-haired girl with fishes in her hair.

Orion grinned at the young woman as she did her antics. True, she was a woman inside, but then he was a man outside right now, and to Orion, that was just a bit weird. He didn't have anything against it, but he'd rather stick to dancing with women.

And then the conversation went to his own face. No, he denied it. He didn't look all mushy. "What are you talking about?" Orion shook his head, "No, no, no mushy here..." He tried denying it as best as he could, hoping that Ivory would take it at face value. He really didn't want to explain it, because he didn't know how to explain it at all. He wasn't good at this feelings thing.

"You know what, let's go. I see some ladies over there!" Orion stood up and motioned for Ivory to come with him. He needed to clear his head, and not talk about her, so why not do some dancing with some local women. They always like him, the big macho foreign wizard who came to save their village

Orion got close, and made sure to show off his magnificent torso to the women. He wasn't a shy person when it came to the ladies. In fact, he was sometimes too brash. Especially when he'd had too many drinks. That means right now. He was being too brash right now.

"Hey, ladies. My friend and I, we saw you from over there and we couldn't decide whether you're good dancers or not," Orion grinned as handsomely as he possibly could, which was quite goofy looking. "I said you," Orion pointed to the red-head, "were definitely the better dancer!"

Orion held out his hand, and hoped it worked, "Would you do me the honour of showing my friend just how right I was?" The woman looked at him, glanced at Ivory, before giggling. She was definitely addled with alcohol to have taken Orion's hand and be led onto the dance floor.

Orion winked at Ivory, pointing him towards the other girl who had a distinct brunette hair colour.
