“Oh!” Blaze finally realized that the fresh arrival was someone familiar.

“My, you really made quick work of them!” He hopped over and did not shy away from nearing Kasumi.

“I must way, I'm very envious of your ferocity!”

An abrupt happening ensued that pulled his attention away from her, however. The muck the threats became swirled around themselves. Their destroyed forms decided... not to be destroyed anymore and their power, now coalesced into one entity, grew three sizes that day.

“Oh dear...” Blaze muttered as he looked up at the terrible creature. It was doing something to his guildmate and he had not a clue what to do about it.

“...No matter!” Blaze rallied. “C'mon everyone! Give it your all!” Blaze settled into an aggressive stance, rear-end high into the air. “Time for us to get serious as well, hm?”

The flames the party was encompassed in erupted with renewed, intensified vigour.

Kasumi had barely landed on the ground when she noticed movement in the direction of the acid goop. Turning her eyes slightly towards it's direction, a slightly annoyed sound escaped from her lips. It seems to be more intelligent than the form it had assume before though it couldn't be that intelligent if it chose to fight them while severely outnumbered. Was it pride? Anger? Desire for revenge? The inquisitive part of her brain naturally search for reason behind this creature's second wind but it was soon discarded as she felt her body loses the previous strength. Not only that, the creature dare to use it's newfound power which it had absorb from herself to attack everyone here including her precious Berry. Thankfully, Blaze's ability completely healed them before she had the time to even look at the wound.

The fact that it happened in first place was still unforgivable however. Blaze mentioned that he was envious of her ability but inwardly she could say the same thing for Blaze. The ability to heal another was no less remarkable and despite all the damage she had receive and inflicted on herself, she was still good as new. Not only that, her power was further bolstered by her significant other to the point that it reached even greater heights. Power coursed through her vein and for a second, the amethyst orbs had turned into emerald ones and lavender-mane turned into one of pure gold. Taking a step forward, her coat billowed behind her as her golden aura surrounded the area enhancing the flame even further. For their trust and support, she would return the favor by vanquishing this pest.

Kasumi vanished and reemerge the creature before her. Instead of fiery hot anger, the look in her eyes was that of tranquil. She knew that the maggot man was a creature with infinite regenerative power. It was clear that she would have to destroy every single bit of it down to the last atom. What she needed was a punch which strength that would not only be limited to kill a person, an army or a fortress. It would have to be powerful enough to wipe an entire city but with enough energy control that the damage would only be limited to the maggot man alone. The quintessence of her strike in her arsenal, perfected through countless kata so as to reach a level where it can contend with the strongest. Her fist would accelerate towards the creature with such celerity that it broke past the sound barrier towards the center node of the target. A huge shockwave followed regardless if her fist connect which contain enough force behind them akin to a nuclear explosion. Regardless whether the target chose to dodge or block, it would attempt to pursue and destroy any defenses in it's path. Only then can the punch live up to it's title.
