Gadget and Grub[Close/Mission]

Taking the slice of gum offered towards her, she muttered thanks before popping one in her mouth. Cheshire said something about not being eager to kill and the purplehead mage nodded. Kasumi wasn't exactly the bloodthirsty type either so it suited her nicely. What she didn't expect was to have her question thrown back at her, causing her to chew more slowly. Her expression turned slightly more serious as the
woman realized something.

Is she being tested right now? Perhaps even assessing her capabilities based on her decision making abilities. The mage had an idea on how she would approach it but had she known she would be tested she would have come up with more than one. Her mind races as she try to think other alternatives as well as assessing how viable each one would be in her head. Cheshire mentioned that she was not fond of killing...was that some sort of clue? If so, she could certainly narrow down to a less aggressive option until she settled on one.

"Considering we have the advantage of time and location, one option I would suggest is to pretend we have a car problem. Then when the truck comes by, we can ask them for help. As soon as they left the truck to assist us we'd ambush them and hightail it out of here Miss...I mean Chesh." she hastily corrected herself.

Now she would have to come up with another idea quickly should the one she proposed get shot down.

A hole in one~ The thoughtful look that had emerged on the purplehead was swiftly replaced with one of happiness as her very first idea she propose got approved immediately. This would definitely look good on her grade...if indeed, she was graded in first place. She pondered asking her about it but then shrugged, if she was being tested she'll definitely know at some point anyway.

"Car trouble? I've had a fair share of those myself so I believe I can handle it." Kasumi replied with a nod. Besides it was not like she had to pretend to be someone else. When Cheshire mentioned about seduction games the girl smirk slightly. After ensuring that there were no obstacles in front of them she would turn around to face her with her hair tucked over her ear. Her eyes would lock with Cheshire for a moment, the smile never left her face.

"Maybe. For a cutie like you, I'd make it perfect."

Keeping the gaze for a bit even as they were speeding down the roadway, she finally let out a chuckle before focusing back on the road. That little interaction had all but dispersed her nervousness earlier and she was even becoming more enthusiastic for the mission.

"Definitely. If you have any preparation or the like you wish to do Chesh now would be the best time to do it." Kasumi added as she look for the side of the road to park the car on.

"Constipated?? Come on, I'm not THAT bad!" Kasumi exclaimed with a playful shove on her arm. It did bring genuine laughter to her however, something she had rarely shown to others. Not because she hate laughter or being happy, it just has been a while since she can talk freely. Still she had to consider Cheshire words seriously. Maybe she shouldn't try too hard at flirting...she reckon to successfully do so would require experience in romance, something she had very little experience of. There's also the fact that she was also driving while attempting to seduce her, so perhaps the concern that they may hit something show up on her face during her attempt.

"I'd like to see you try next time." Kasumi said as she brought the car to a complete stop. Turning off the engine, she took a moment to take out her make up mirror while making several expression. Her partner mentioned something about leaving all the talking to her to which she nodded in response.

"Aye, leave it to me. I'll see you in a bit."

With that Kasumi would tighten her own gloves and stepped out of the vehicle herself to prop up the bonnet of the vehicle. Exhaling slightly, she try to remember the last time she had a car trouble before channeling the expression she felt back then. Biting her lip slightly, she pretend to pace in front of the car with a distraught expression on her face. It wasn't until the truck rolls up near the car that she pretended to notice, moving and waving her hand to get their attention.

"Sir, sir, I need help. My car...it's..it's not working for some reason. You got to help me"she said, her lips quivering. Although they paid attention to her, it looked as if she had failed to deceive them. It was only until the truck parked shortly after in front of them with some of the driver hopped off that she realized it did work, as they began to walk over to ask her the problem. Kasumi would direct them immediately to the vehicle to speak of her trouble, even as she wait for Cheshire to pull her strings.

As it turns out, men really are gullible to a pretty face. None of them suspected a thing with one of them even brought out a car toolbox kit over. Geez, it almost made her feel bad to knock them out. Though there are some who were less interested in the car and more interested in her personally, asking her question like where she was going and even offered a ride. Something about the look on their face made her hair stand at end but she tried her best to ignore such feelings.

At this point, Kasumi wished she was able to use some form of telepathic magic...with her car starting to prove negative to the most common car problem it made her wonder if the preparation went smoothly for her partner. There was only so much she could fast talk with a perfectly working car and to the gearheads of the crew, doubt already began to surface on their faces. If only she knew enough to tamper the car and yet
make them perfectly working again with little repair on her part.

"I'm sorry lady but I really can't see what's wrong with it..." one of them started as he approached her. Definitely the mechanic of the group judging by how well he handle those tools. He mentioned about the part of cars he had checked but Kasumi's mind barely registered the words which sounds like car related jargons throw about. Insisting the ruse would just bring her to a dead end and her common car problem knowledge couldn't help her here.

"Well actually..." the girl started, casting her gaze low and to the side. "My car didn't...break down." Her cheek flushed slightly as she finally admitted it. It helps that she really blushed because she was embarrassed though not because she was caught in a lie but moreso of trying the seduction technique.

"I was actually wondering if..." she barely finished before the ones that had leered at her earlier approach her. Okay, that was way too close...don't they know the term personal space? The look on their eyes were clearly undressing her suit so as to look what's underneath. She just need to calm down and...did one of them just touch her butt?

Yeah no, there was no way she could keep this up. Though Cheshire couldn't see her, she would definitely hear the sound of studded leather greeted one of the truck driver's jaw. And it didn't stop there as the girl move on to engage others in close combat. The thought to use their guns didn't cross their mind...or perhaps they were too prideful to admit they can be bested in hand to hand combat.

Although the bandits have the advantage in numbers, it was greatly offset by the overconfidence they felt when they see their adversary is of the fairer sex. Afterall, why shoot when they can simply knock her out and perhaps use her for whatever sick purpose their mind can conjure. One of them was already knocked but it looks like she's struggling with the other...which means that was just a mere fluke right?

Or something along those lines Kasumi presumed their thought was as they brandish their sharp implements on her. Mostly to intimidate her to stand down...people generally don't want to get stab. But the girl would catch the knife's blade and even offered a swift strike to the wielder's throat, letting them gasp for air before sending his head crashing against the side of the truck. The other would come in with a huge haymaker directed towards her but was stopped cold as the girl use the man's strength against him to deliver a hard hitting counter punch. Even as he crashed down to the ground, the girl had already turned their attention to the remaining thugs.

Four more...

One of the remaining thugs decided to charge down the girl to bring the fight to the ground but was rewarded with a knee towards the jaw for his effort before a swift hook to his head followed, the impact rattled the brain in his skull and he was out before he could reach the ground. Another had decided to use the spanner to slam her but missed as the girl weaved back from the impact and swiftly received a nutcracker in return, her kick slammed hard against his crotch and leaving him clutching in high pitched voice about his manhood. Another try to sneak around her to grab her from behind and for a moment he succeeded...until he received a bloodied nose for his trouble as she bashed her head back against him. Turning her attention towards him, she immediately take hold of the spanner he was clutching and whack him across his head, as well as the one who she delivered nutcracker earlier.

At this point, the remaining thug knew that his crew had bitten off more than they can chew and pull out a pistol her. Telling her to drop the spanner and the blade, the girl complied and drop them to the ground. She kept moving forward however and the thug, nervous as he was had an itchy trigger finger...inadvertently releasing a few shots in her direction. Only at this point that Kasumi had decided to use her magic to reinforce herself, catching all the bullets aimed towards her direction and swiftly knocked him out with a pure straight with the other.

Realizing that she was watched over, Kasumi looked up at the catgirl in question before giving her a sheepish look.

"Sorry about that, they touched my butt." she said as while dropping the caught bullets on the ground. Rubbing her hands together she decided to look back at the thugs she had taken care of when one of their radio crackles, it seems to be a regular interval check on
the state of delivery.

Upon being showered with compliment, Kasumi softly chuckled and shake her head. It wasn't that she thought Cheshire was wrong but moreso that she felt what she did was nothing special. It was just something she decided to put effort into based on the magic she was born with.

"Not at all, I'm sure I have a lot to learn from you Chesh."she replied humbly though she began to inspect the belonging of the thugs. Cheshire was the first to pick the thug's radio and so she listened in on how Cheshire responded to the radio transmission. It's a lot more witty than she would have put it earning her a chuckle in response. She can only imagined the shock look of the person on the other side of the radio. Kasumi would also nod to Cheshire's suggestion of taking one truck each.

When offered to do the same to the van Kasumi would politely declined, her head shaking once more. There was nothing she could think of that would have increase the grandeur of such masterpiece. Before they moved to each their truck however, she raise her hand to stop her. Her hand reached out inside of her suit to dig out communication device of her own.

"Do you have telepathy magic Chesh? If not, maybe we can use this to talk with each other?" she suggested while offering one to her. Should Cheshire decided to refuse, Katsumi would put them back inside her pocket to make her way towards one of the truck.
