Drug House[Close/Mission]

Compared to the injury Berry had cured earlier, the other ones that the woman had suffered were light bruises possibly from being struck with fists or the like. She seems stable enough however and even able to sit up from her position to lean on the wall. From her face, one can estimate the woman to be around early thirties or so. Listening quietly upon her inquiry, the woman took a moment before she finally answered.

"It was a man. I think he's in his thirties. His name is Dimitri and he sold us medical drugs for our ailments but the price he charged for them was quite.... excessive. My sister is ill and could use the medicine but we do not have the money to pay for it." she paused a bit before continuing. "So... I followed him here. I thought perhaps I could steal the drug without him knowing." At this point her face reflects guilt as she look away.

"He found out. He attacked me and then cut my belly...I thought I was gonna die..." at this point she stopped, looking quite distressed tocontinue any further.

"Where is he right now?" Kasumi asked, bending down to put her hand on her shoulder.

"Off to meet a client he says...I think he's about to make a deal with the bandits."the woman told them. Kasumi's expression harden though she nodded, glancing towards her partner.

"What shall we do now Doctor? Is she safe to move?"the purplehead finally asked. Since there was a civilian now, she rather not have her get caught in any combat that may follow.

By the time Berry was done treating the woman, there were not even a single trace of injuries upon her. She looked as good as new though as Berry had suggested, she may be tired. Even throughout the conversation, she had struggled to maintain eye contact. Taking a moment to look around, Kasumi walked towards the nearest used revolving chair before bringing it back towards her.

"They're not exactly your regular wheelchair...but I'm thinking we should try moving her around with these. Since we're here to get the drugs in the warehouse in first place, I proposed we brought her to the storage room with us so we can keep an eye on her."

When they asked the woman where she stayed, she told them the name of the very settlement they planned to deliver drugs to. And though she looked tired when mention that she would heal her without any payment the woman immediately took her hand in response, vigor returning to her eyes.

"Oh thank you...thank you...a thousand blessings upon you..."the woman immediately replied.

"That's a lot of blessings. Think you have a fan now Miss Everett." Kasumi replied as she hold the glow stick between her lips. With great care, she would lift the the woman onto the revolving chair as she made sure for the woman to be completely seated. Only after that did she take the glowstick from her mouth so that she can hold it in her hand.

"Shall we get going then?"

Kasumi smirked slightly at the sight of Berry blushing on her fan comment which in her opinion was so adorable. It didn't escape her attention that she switched the topic as well, making her want to tease her more. Alas, current circumstances required her vigilance and so she would focus on the hallway ahead of them. The woman even offered to guide them the way as she had tried to infiltrate this place before. With her help, they were able to easily navigate towards the storage but before she could push her around the corner to get there, the woman raised her hand.

"Halt...Dimitri set a trap here. By the door... there's an automated sentry. Only he could switch it off. It's why I got caught, I was stuck on how to bypass it."she explained

Frowning, Kasumi took a make-up mirror to check the door just to make sure. Sure enough, the contraption stood there ready to shred any who carelessly approaches the door. At this point, she would exhale slightly as she turned the wheelchair around before looking at Berry.

"It's as she say. I'm going to try to tank through the turret by myself and take care of it. Can you look after her for me when I do?" Kasumi asked, already channeling magical energy into her coat. This would be her first time doing this though with Berry being able to take care of healing, she was more reassured in doing so.

Mental, absolutely mental. That was the look the woman gave her when she voiced her plan. Even Berry appeared reluctant to go with it she wouldn't blame them. The smarter approach would have been to take another route towards the storage room but the woman had infiltrated this place before them and couldn't find any route like that. So as much as she expressed distaste over her own plan,Kasumi decided to go with it. Giving them a small smile of assurance in response, she take a deep breathe.

"Got it. Wish me luck." she said almost in cheerful manner. And with that she would head turn around the corner and face the turret head on. Her arms were raised in a cross-like manner as soon as the turret caught sight of her. The whir of the machine as it get ready to baptize her with red hot lead followed. A moment passed before Kasumi charged at the same time just as the roar of the gunfire started.

As opposed to piercing her, the bullets bounce was deflected by her coat before clanging as they bounced off the floor. Still, that did not mean she was able to march over to the turret easily. Every foot she took felt like she was running straight into a battering ram. The coat may have become bulletproof under her spell but her body underneath had to weather the impact, as bruises would form all over her. White hot pain seared her body all over but her spell somehow managed to withstand through it all. One of the bullet slipped through the gapsof her defense and bouncing off the temple of her head yet also rendering a cut above her eyebrow. If left be, it would bleed onto one of her eyes blinding her but by this time, she was already directly in front of the turret.

An upward kick followed smashing the contraptions with enough force to send chunks of metal pieces everywhere before followed by a chopping punch, shutting up the device completely. The hallway fell silent....safe for the heavy breathing of the purple-head mage.

Still breathing heavily, Kasumi nodded in response towards Berry's question. In addition to pain, her body felt sore all over but the doctor's healing technique was already starting to work it's miracle on her too. The warmth glow that spread over her body was a welcomed feeling for her.

"You really had us worried back there."the woman added, voicing the feeling they both felt while watching her earlier. It was painful to watch and she even thought to tell the purplehead to pull back halfway but didn't. She did feel a small amount of satisfaction to see the machine got smashed to pieces...it was the very reason she got caught in first place.

"My clothes have bullet resistant properties in first place...though it wouldn't have let me survive that on it's own. I simply enhance that property to match the turret's firepower."she explained, though her eyes are now focused on the door with the label storage
on it.

"Thank you for your healing Miss Everett. You can increase the number of fans you have by another one." she added lightheartedly to see if she can induce the reaction she had seen earlier. Her hand would grab on the knob of the door before she open it's inside...which to her surprise was well lit. There were multiple shelves various medical equipment and the temperature regulator seems to be working to maintain the room's temperature.

"This place must have it's own power supply." she said as she walk inside, bringing the woman with them.

"I see. For now we should check out the room."

Kasumi would take that moment to inspect the room for any potential dangers before relaxing slightly when she find none. Now that they were here, it was time to get to work. The purplehead would leave the their companion near the door so as to inform them if someone else was coming before she approach one of the shelves.

"Do you have the list with you Doctor? I believe we should start by acquiring those."she stated and wait for Berry to produce it. Even if she didn't, the girl would have memorize the list by heart and would recite it out loud for her benefit so that they can get to work on grabbing those.

During their search they would discover another smaller room, with a slightly colder temperature. It was within this room that the most drugs including ones that were temperature sensitive were kept. There were also some papers and records inside that would suggest that someone was looking for ways to reproduce the drugs in question recently.

"He sure has quite the nice setup here..." Kasumi remarked upon reading the paper. Distaste was heavy on her tone the more she continue to read it. "He even listed settlements without regular access to healing mage."

"Indeed. He had allowed his greediness took control of him."

With that Kasumi would set down the paper back onto the table she had found. Most of the stuff they needed to grab were stored inside the box which she had found earlier, so as to make it easier for her to bring it back towards the car. The purplehead had also help herself to some to some medical items that she felt would be useful to their group during emergency.

"That's all the things we can get from the list. I think we can start moving them all back towards the car now."

With her magic, carrying everything they may need for the task prove to be a simple matter. Despite her proposal however she didn't move from her spot but instead turned towards Berry. Her mind seems to be contemplating over a few things before she finally nodded as if she had just come to some sort of decision. Making sure the victim they had save earlier were not listening, she began speaking in a slightly hushed voice.

"Miss Everett, do you believe we should go after this drug dealer? Ignoring him is another option, we can focus all our resources on tracking him after the guild issue another request for his capture." she told her. Not that she was comfortable with leaving that kind of man on the loose but she was also green with the ways of the guild that she felt it would be a better idea to consult her on the matter.
