Quinn enjoyed the food, he enjoyed it so much that he had already ordered for a second serving. The barkeep was more than happy to oblige, and Quinn could swear he saw money bags on the man's eyes as he took the order. He knew that the beef stew was good, it seems, and had been hoping for people to buy quite a bit of it.
"That's good! Glad you're liking it!" Quinn had gotten his second serving at this point, "Order one more if you want. I can't deprive you of such delicacy..." He trailed off, taking a whiff of the beef stew and immediately salivated.
Quinn took the first few bites once again, before looking up at Rex, "Rats? Oh man, that can;t be good." Definitely not something that meets dietary needs, nor did it seem sanitary, "Is that what you usually eat?" He was part of a guild, surely, he had more than enough money from missions to eat better.

Not good? This man never ate good rat!
Amazingly, Rex found himself agreeing with the beast-like sentiments, and even as he ordered more food, started to talk. "I don't know, man...it's easy food. And if I can eat it, it means the real food goes to people who need it." Gods, now his stomach was twisting, eating roast beef...but it was a gift, he had to eat, it couldn't be a waste.
We're hunters.
"I'm a hunter, most of the time. I eat what I can get my hands on, don't usually get days like this. If I eat a deer, that's good enough." He thought momentarily, and added, "And don't kick rat till ya tasted it, it's tasty!" If you had a cat's taste, but still!

Quinn's money would be tight, but his generosity was a bit more boundless. He was never one to turn down a friend, or a potential friend, which was his eventual downfall, if he was being serious about it. The problem had always been that he could never seem to say no when there was a good deed to be had. So another serving it is!
"Still, can't be good for you, right? I mean," Quinn paused for a moment, "You do eat more than just rats everyday, right?"
"I mean, deer is fine, it's a bit more nutritious for sure, but..." Quinn paused, "You're right, I can't judge until I try it though." And yeah, he was never going to judge because he was never going to try it. "Good food, good company, I can't ask for anything else." Quinn grinned finishing the last of his stew.

"If I can catch it myself, I'll eat it. Deer, though? That'd be nice, better than even boar." His words continued, and he couldn't help but brag, "Don't know about you, but I'm one of the best hunters I know, so don't worry, it's not like I starve."
Good food...good company...what is this man talking about?
He laughed under his breath, "Good food, yeah, but don't flatter me. Good company? I'm just eating all your money...but I can give it back, I got good money." Really, he couldn't let this favor go without repaying it, not his style to let it drag on.

"Boar is good though!" Quinn had his fair share of boar meet, and he can definitely say that he enjoyed it as much as any deer they catch. "Can be very tough, but if you cook it right...magnificent!" he snapped his finger at the end, making a point of boar meat's deliciousness.
Quinn smiled, "It was good company! We had a great talk, I think," in terms of receiving payment, Quinn shook his head, "No payment necessary. One day if I'm hungry, you can buy me food instead." He smiled, before getting up. "Time to go, I think. You can go ahead, I'll settle the bill. You must have important things to do as a wizard of Odin's Spear!" Quinn waved the man good-naturedly, not wanting to keep him any longer.
