LIKESHIPS For the most part, Berry tries to be amicable with everyone. She does this regardless of their background, or the things they may do. Additionally, she is supportive to all Odin's Spear members, and anyone else who needs help. While she does have a certain amount of patience for angst, she does take to people who are at least agreeable to her rather than being obnoxious. Though she is quiet, she isn’t that picky with people she considers close friends if they treat her well. HATESHIPS Aside from the obvious, the people who she dislikes are people who are adamant about taking lives they deem incapable of changing or being saved. There’s a certain threshold however, as she knows black and white moralities are relatively common, and she tries to reason with even the people she doesn’t particularly like, rather than result to violence. After all, she tries to be a pacifist. Still, she isn’t crazy; people who mistreat her and those she cares about aren’t held in the highest regard. LOVESHIPS Not a flirt by any stretch of the imagination, Berry tends to be reserved when it comes to romantic affection. Those who she befriends to a great extent she might take to, but she’d never bring it up on her own; she’s very reactionary in this regard. Hey, stranger!
I want to play these two together. <3 I feel like Berry is exactly the quality of goodness that Ivory has been missing. Maybe Berry's open mindedness to rehabilitating criminals/the supposedly irredeemable is something that can help Ivory with her own inner conflict about her place in life. Though she might ultimately think it's naive, but.. honestly, since she doesn't plan on leaving her current lifestyle, it might be exactly the type of conception she needs to maintain some semblance of long-term sanity! I'm betting they could be good friends, in the end, because of it. And Ivory would appreciate the selfless light Berry emits. Besides, Berry has books?! Please read them to illiterate Ivory, she could use some stories. The Limestoneians never taught her how to read.

Ret's taken an interest in Berry. She has potential for summoning spirits. They can tell these kind of things. 
He needs a tether to Earthland where he can stay indefinitely - a platinum key thing.

I like the idea of this! Berry would be happy to help Ivory if she has any inner turmoil. Though she has a perceptive eye for those things, it may take her a bit to be privy to it; unless Ivory were to be an open book about it and share those details quickly. I think, while she doesn’t condone everything the guild does by any stretch of the imagination, she would still ironically be able to shed light on the positive outcomes and that with a little effort, they may be able to change even the rougher decisions for the better with persistence. With Ivory being closer to the boss, helping Ivory could ultimately put the guild on better moral ground in the long-term, too! Help Ivory, help the guild, help a bunch of people in need, I like the direction~ And she could definitely help her learn how to read.

Yeah! I’m going to say the overall heavenly/celestial nature of her magic grants her a certain affinity for it, and though she doesn’t have enough of a knack for it to contract to a large number of them, I think it’d be cool to buy up the platinum key spell and take Ret’s contract! The key should totally look like it's modeled after some kind of old Western handgun or something.
She’ll definitely be showing off that orientation during the event thread. You should have him riding in next to her! |

I'm having to retype this and I am low-key salty af.
Anyways! I don't think she'd be an open book about it, not in the way of sharing those details anyways. More like it'd be something Berry would pick up on through 1 on 1 interaction; i.e. if they had went out on an unfavorable mission together, like collecting a debt [where they had to bully the person into submission], and picking up on Ivory's own sadness at such a task. Stuff like that. I figured naturally picking up on it might be funner. Besides, I'm sure at first Ivory might give off the impression of being a heartless asshole to some of the lower members of the guild, seeing as she hangs out with the top of the food chain that is the mafia. Which might make for some fun misconception on Berry's part during their first outing together haha. Which would make the big ol' softie reveal that is Ivory's heart be more surprising~ But yeah! I'd love it if that were the direction of it! Once they come to understand each other, Ivory will be pleased to have some goodness to apply to any of the otherwise foul things they might sometimes have to do. + Having the hope of maybe even turning the guild into something better? That's a hope she would never of been able to formulate on her own, so that'd be a relief to have/fantasize about. I feel like I left something out that I had in my first type up of this... oops. Oh well. RIP whatever it was kek.
Hmm, maybe we can do that unfavorable mission for OS as mentioned? Go pull some Negan on some poor villager skull because they didn't pay up. *brandishes Lucille*

Sorry this took me nine eternities to reply to LOL. We’ve been at it with Anni and Ivory so I’ve been occupied with that, though I’m still down for this too if I’m not murdering you with too many threads already.
And yes! I still love the idea of this interaction. Berry does like to give people the benefit of the doubt, which is probably what ultimately results in her ability to see the sadness and interpret it as such. I think we were discussing this before Ivory was placed in the Underboss position, so I’m not sure if anything would differ now? Ivory does have more sway on her own behalf, so I’m not sure if that would affect how Ivory goes about it, because as I mentioned before she’d be able to go about these bullying sessions in her own way to achieve hopefully the same end.
I think it would be amazing to RP her going all Negan on someone Anniken style though, seeing her do something on that scale would have Berry like oh my fuck LOL. Still digging the idea of the unfavorable mission! Kasumi Ito & Berry Everett-Bailey
Hey!
I’m down for that. Berry often acts as backup during missions. As a pacifistic person, she won’t offer anything in terms of offense or commit violent acts to others. That is generally left up to the people on the task with her. She focuses more on support, and healing the wounded/sick. Sometimes people suffer injuries and such on missions, so she’s there to help when that issue arises.
