[attr="class","kcontent"]Lisabeth Godfrey was versed in the dangers of traveling. Since she began her treasure hunting a year ago she had learned many ways in which traveling could go wrong. She had been assailed by bandits, run into a dangerous beasts and chased away by wandering animals. Through these trials she gained experience in where and when to travel. But it seems some of those lessons have escaped her.
The young amnesiac finds herself far from any town or city. She awakens to find herself gazing up at something she hardly expected. A draping of dark green offset by the shadows off a deep night. It did not take long for her to realize that she was lying somewhere with trees and at night. This was a jarring flag within the young woman’s mind. Immediately her head spun with questions related to where she was and how she had gotten there.
It would be unlike her to fall asleep in the grass of some forest. It was not the bugs or small animals that would stop her from this. Rather, it would be the possibility of an attack that would scare her from the idea. To remain anywhere at night was just asking to be attacked by wandering predators and she knew very well that she had no hope of fighting them off. Then why was it that she had chosen to lay here?
It was not part of a mission. There was no job that she had taken or treasure that she was seeking. Try as she may to come up with the answer, all she had was a blank. Not just for the answer, but also in her memories. She had been in town one moment and lying here the next. What happened in between was a blur.
As she raised her torso up she began to observe more of her situation. Trees and darkness for as far as she could see. This was not too far either because what she could observe was due to the glowing moon above. Without much to take in she was forced to make due what she could see.
”Nothing. Seriously?” She bemoaned as she continued lifting herself from the earth. Her hands would pat at her sides and she slowly pulled herself up to a kneeling position.
”Was I sleepwalking? If I was I wish I had gone somewhere better. A hotspring would be great. But this..” She continued to pull leaves and wipe dirt off herself. Though she brought humor to her circumstances she was still trying to find answers to explain what brought her here.
”Over there. Is that a light?” She asked as she gazed towards a noticeable bright area not too far from where she was kneeling. But as she lifted herself and moved in the direction she was shocked to discover what was sitting not too far from where she awoken—it was a large and dreary manor lit up not by now light posts, but by an unexplained aura. The look on Liz’s face was that of a person just realizing the trouble they had stumbled upon.
Notes: Wearing cargo shorts and a white t-shirt. Liz awakens to find herself somewhere she did not remember coming to. She is surrounded by trees at dusk. Upon further investigation there is a large building, an old mansion, not too far from where she was lying. But this manor is not lit up by typical lights or magic. Instead it is lit by a supernatural glow that has taken Liz by surprise.
