Sanctuary [social, closed]

It'd been a total of one whole day since Ivory's resurrection and she was having fun. She'd picked up two fun skills already whilst manipulating her connection to the spirit realm. One was being able to float, the other was being able to phase through material objects. Each required a preexisting talent of energy manipulation, which was something she had had her whole life.

Roaming the walls of Asgard she'd hear a loud fuck, formed from a familiar set of vocal cords. Smiling, she'd suddenly stick her head through the door which the sound came from; "Whose fucking who?"

"Over here dweeb." She stepped through the door fully now, hands placed on her hips in a playfully haughty manner. "I don't know how to "ghost." But I can do some pretty interesting.. ghosty things!" She crossed her legs suddenly but was still in air; the act providing as her way of giving an example of said things.

"Now what's this dramatic exclamation about, lady? Why you yelling dead in the night? Some people actually like to sleep."

Somehow the woman hadn't anticipated such a response. She braced herself for impact, her floating frame being nudged back by a foot or so upon the feline's pouncing embrace. She let her legs settle back to the floor, wanting to gain more of a brace.

She wrapped her arms around the shadow-mage in turn, patting her back. "You were worried about that? It's okay. It wasn't a big announcement or anything, after all. Even Kasumi was unaware." She pulled away, giving a toothy -- fangless -- grin. "It was just something AJ foresaw and, well, I think it had to be done."

Ivory smile softly, a sign of proof for how she hadn't held their last encounter in a bad light. "I'm sorry for literally dying on you without saying anything, especially after that night. I can see how that might've.. felt bad." She gently bopped her finger on the woman's nose, "It's okay though, everything. I.. I don't feel like murdering you now just to get a quick meal, after all. As for the awkwardness.. I'm sorry for being boring. I just never really saw myself as more than a one-person type of person." She laughed, "Unlike someone we know."

When she was released from Cheshire's embrace she'd try not to dig too far into the way the female was acting. Instead she simply twirled away and sat at the edge of her bed, giving it a bit of a bounce test as her crimson pools shifted toward the desk across the way.

She hadn't been at all weirded out by it, had she? She thought, absently, as she gazed at the wads of paper strewn all over the desk and floor. "I thought cats were supposed to be clean creatures?~"

She'd of giggled had she thought it was appropriate, but Cheshire seemed genuinely.. perturbed. Her observant gaze then stumbled across the many vampire related books — all rare and expensive, given their day and age — and she'd begin to gather some idea of what was transpiring. "You're going to turn aren't you?"

There was mild sadness in her voice, but she tried her best to hide it with another faint expression of enjoyment. "Maybe you should.. go see them instead, if that's the case..?"

From Cheshire's initial hesitation, she assumed the woman was on the fence about the turn — on some level, anyways. It was understandable, too. Ivory hadn't enjoyed it, despite feeling powerful, it had absolutely had it's down sides, some of which she herself hadn't wanted to live with.

"Ready or not, I think you should go before you decide to turn. At least give them one last warm hug, ya know? See them again before blood-thirst becomes second nature. I think you'll regret it if you don't.. it's stressful having that thirst. So if you're stressed just about seeing them now.."
