Turning slowly he would offer a friendly smile back to the sound which belonged to none other than a fellow guild mate and lost magic user, Green Traver. The younger of the two and by default akin to a little brother for Romance, despite already having one to lay claims to on his own.

The blonde spoke back cheerfully, his morning being brightened by the presence of someone he could actually get along with. Romance was prone to being, or rather feeling like, the odd one out most times since he didn't exactly know how to open up well. It's a bad happen he'd been trying to shake since childhood but it's not so easy to get over your anxiety as anyone could tell you. Good thing he didn't feel that way in the presence of his younger companion.

“I can't really complain, it's been a pretty serene morning for me. How about you, Green?“

Romance returned the question while adjusting himself to face the boy. His body previously being slouched to the side in a more causal fashion but now his posture was perfect, despite the unchanging nature of their interaction. It wasn't his fault, you could call it habitual nature at best as it wasn't a conscious effort at all really.

A city in shambles some might say, but that could be considered the state of the world in general for the survivors of the calamity. Romance hadn't been to the village often, maybe once with his brother in his travels, but now he was here to offer any help he could in improving their state of living. He was used to hunting, killing magical beasts to provide for Gabbro, so coming to a new place to aid in missions would be easy!

Without even looking he'd managed to stumble upon a mission to collect some sort of mystical herb that only grew in the ocean, perfect for his skill set. Despite being more accustomed to hunting and gathering one could consider this a form of that in itself, since he was hunting for something called an 'Aqua Rose'. He'd have to study more on different herbs and plants, given he wasn't a healer he never bothered to get into it.

Black sneakers kicked up dirt in their path to the shore, a fuzzy teal sweater and some fitted blue jeans to keep him warm from the wind chill the town was known for. Sure he wasn't going to feel anything from the water but it was the journey to and from the water that bothered him. He wasn't a sky slayer after all, and only the water could offer any sort of comfort from the cooled air now.

Pulled from his thoughts by the sight of an aqua haired man standing and waiting, most likely whom he'd been searching for. Approaching slowly the water slinger would wave with a small smile, speaking out to introduce himself when he was close enough.

“Hey, i'm uh, i'm Romance. Are you the one who needed help with the aqua roses?“ That soft spoken voice called out when within 7 feet of him, hesitating to encroach less he'd interrupted the wrong person.

[nospaces] [attr="class","spellbound-text"]Short blonde hair waved from the gentle breeze, as the ruby eyed god slayer rested his sights on a menu filled with tons of different options. He could admit that he was more accustomed to skipping breakfast in return for a larger lunch but today he would try and live like an actual person. So a little before noon he managed to peel himself from bed and come down to an eatery known for their wonderful morning cuisine.

As a red haired woman wearing an apron and a smile approached, pen and pad in hand, Romeo looked up to her with a smile of his own. Parting his pink lips to speak clearly as he wasn't fond of mistakes when it came to food and watching the woman write down his order at the speed of thought.

“Hello, I‘ll take the freshly squeezed orange juice, with the big breakfast special. The eggs cooked omelet style, the pancakes with blueberries and a side of sausage and bacon please and thank you.“

Handing the woman his menu, Romance sighed as she walked away and looked to the deep blue skies having chosen to eat outside in the outer dining area near the street. Enjoying the start of a beautiful day even if he was covered from the suns rays by an umbrella in the center of the table. The young man would let himself begin to get lost in thought, all while keeping his eyes pinned to the clouds; though he had a feeling he was being approached. Possibly one of his guild mates coming to join him or possibly a stranger with nowhere else to sit?

Working Hard, Or Hardly Working? [Open/Social]

[nospaces] [attr="class","spellbound-text"]Wrapped hands hit hard into the trunk of a thick tree as the youth, wearing nothing but a white t shirt, and a pair of black shorts, stood firm. Black sneakers planted in the dirt like the unwavering foliage before him, the water bearer studied his approach at his 'target'. Romeo was working hard to become a worthy member of the guild after having joined and hadn't realized how lackluster his skill set was when compared to other mages; and he refused to be a burden on them. He would become stronger, even if he had to break his body down to its weakest in order to get it to it‘s strongest!

After testing how tight his wrist bandages were, he removed his shoes and wrapped both of his ankles in the same material, which were light weight but thick and durable to prevent him from harming himself. Cracking his neck and stretching out his limbs, he cleared his throat and continued to unleash a flurry of attacks onto the tree. Placed in an area where people often came to train against each other or by themselves and, since no one was around, he decided he would wail on a tree.

Listening to the leaves rustle and crack under his feet from the constant shifting of his weight, he jabbed twice before delivering an inverted kick; which prompted him to repeat the combo again and again. It hadn't been long before he'd suddenly heard a bush rustle from behind him, signalling that someone was approaching the small dirt clearing.

He was a shy boy but he knew he'd have to say something or have to face that awkward urge to do so when things got too quiet. Better now than never right? Plus he couldn't let that feeling distract him while he was trying to focus.

”H-how‘s it going?“

That was causal and cool, right? Why he was such an anxious dork sometimes, he would never know.
