They wondered when Orion would summon them. Chalice was a very patient spirit, but for some reason he had been quite eager for the man to finally summon him. Even without the use of the key, Chalice Crater had been watching him every now and then, peeking through the gaps in the stars to see snippets of what Orion was up to. Mainly drinking, sleeping, and drinking. They half wondered if the man had totally forgotten about the celestial key. But it seemed not. Orion waved the key about like a magic wand, and chanted some utter nonsense to summon Chalice. It was the wrong chant, but a chant nonetheless, it appeared he had significant enough magic to drag the spirit from the sky and into this... Humble abode. "Master." His words echoed as he stepped out of a golden light, a young man dressed in a smart leather suit (which was an improvement from the last time they met). The spirit was quite tall, about the same height as Orion, and although he wasn't as stocky and muscular as the god slayer, Chalice was definitely more muscular than most. The spirit quickly knelt down on one knee, with his head facing the ground. "I am glad you summoned me, I've been waiting to see you again." They then stood up, holding a hand across his chest. "I am Chalice, The Crater Spirit. I am forever in your debt. One again, I thank you for saving me."

Chalice stood there in the middle of the cavern, staring up at the wall of men, women and children all killed and mutilated by his own kind. It infuriated him, celestial spirits were supposed to protect mankind, not harm them. Maybe with this cataclysm event that happened many years ago, some of his brothers and sisters had grown curious to see what kind of devious magic and plans they could delve into. Chalice was a protector, however. And seeing all this death made him cry, tears of gold dripping down his completely naked body. "Hey, that was cool and all, but... Could you maybe let me go?" Chalice jumped, spinning around quickly and looking at the man who saved him. "Oh goodness, I do apologise!" His voice was very posh, and very refined. He waved a hand, and the solidified gold melted back down again. Chalice walked back up the staircase, then stood at the base of the chalice, looking at it. "Th- Thank you, for saving me." He looked down, saddened by something. "I am Chalice, The Crater spirit. You have no idea how much you've helped. There are some places even the celestial king cannot see from his throne. I feared nobody would save me. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't." As time ticked on by, Chalice's body would grow more metallic by the second. Rusted and silver, cracking in places in fact. It spread across him like a plague, except he didn't seem bothered by it. "It appears I've broken a few rules with that spell." He smiled, "I've lost a lot of power doing that." He rested his hand on the chalice, the heart at the base of it still beating away. "Orion, yes? Ah, like the constellation. How fitting for someone who got entangled in the affairs of the celestial spirits. I fear my time is up for now, I don't have long at all. But we will speak again." The chalice began to fade away, becoming more translucent by the second. The spirit's own body was also beginning to crack and chip away, his essence floating back to the stars. "I'm indebted to you." The cavern was filled with light, blindingly so. It was a beacon that could be seen from miles away, a huge ray arcing back into the celestial world. When it faded, Orion would find that everything had vanished. No corpses, no cocoons, no chalice. It was just an empty cave, all that remained was a platinum key, laying on top a mask resembling the face of the creature he battled. Stars appeared in the sky, stars that hadn't been there before. It was Chalice, returning to his world once again.

The man, or spirit, rose up from the sludge. He looked either side, then shut his eyes and smiled. He was crying, tears of gold tumbled down his cheeks. A few droplets into the filled chalice would remove the taint upon his altar, the dark slime quickly being changed to gold in a few seconds. Chalice was now free, and he could finally put an end to this madness that Musca was up to. The gold liquid in the cup would reach up and grab Orion, holding him inside the Chalice as it encased him partially. Chalice then thrust out both arms either side of him, one towards the swarm and one towards the portal. Celestial magic was willed into existence, a light as dazzling as the stars forming in each palm. "No more of this!" He roared, his voice sounding divine and heavenly even with the furious tone in it. "This is not your world to torment!"Musca and its creatures would scream in retaliation. Although there was no visible attack made by Chalice, he seemed to be tearing apart the swarm when they got to close. Each insect disintegrated into nothing, shredded apart by Chalice's very existence. The gold continued to drip off his bare body, making him look like an angelic guardian from heaven itself. Portions of his skin would shimmer like metal, a mixture of silvers and golds as the strain on his body grew more intense. Eventually the swarm had been wiped out entirely, leaving only the harvester and musca. Flicking his wrists forwards, gold would shoot up into the sky before forming a sphere that encapsulated the portal. With another hand motion, the sphere would implode and mend the sky. The harvester screamed in fear and anger, beating its giant body against the stone as it charged forwards in pure blind rage. Chalice would calmly step down out of the chalice, the gold forming into solid steps as he made his way onto down further into the cavern. The hulking great beast was only a few feet of him, and was then slammed brutally onto the hard floor. It seemed to be Chalice's doing, even though they didn't lift a finger. "You are but a fragment of the real spirit, a dreg that needs removing."Kneeling down calmly, he'd reach out a hand and rest it under the beasts face, lifting it up like that of a lover. "You are a fool." He teased, before leaning in and gently kissing the insects face. It froze up for a moment, before its body began to dissolve into dust, like lighting the wick of a candle and watching it burn from one end to the other.
