Although Koji already knew of how William treated those who he could not control, the frank recount in which Sovereign provided still sent shivers coursing down the Exceed's spine. It did the job. The words echoed in his mind. The sheer disregard for life as well as the callousness in which the former Guild Master enacted his orders only increased Koji's conviction and gratefulness that such an evil was stopped before it could do any more harm.
"I am glad you no longer possess them." The Cait Shelter master nodded, although he remained skeptical of the truth in Sovereign's words. Surely someone as power hungry and paranoid as William would not have destroyed such valuable assets. Especially after he descended into madness.
