tawp of the morning to ya, a social ft. Ivory

Ivory rarely slept since her ascendance to the Spirit World, but she did often come down and hang around her room, bothering to maintain it and be available to any made men and women who might need their Underboss at any given moment. She had been toying with some of her newfound abilities since she'd arrived earlier that morning, phasing her hand in and out of various objects within her room. At one point she'd gotten distracted by cawing at the window and essentially lost a finger in her desk, the phasing having been incomplete. The pain had been extreme and shocking, reminding her that this technique was definitely something that needed focus. Fortunately her Phoenixhood had also granted her healing magic, so she was able to replace her lost finger in no time.

Unfortunately, though, the cawing did not stop. It provided an incessant distraction from her 'training,' and eventually she'd sigh, crimson pools pulling toward the window as she went over to it and opened to shoo away the feathered pests.

As she let in the cool outside air, the crow situated just outside began to speak. She blinked, temporarily taken aback. But as a take-over mage, she knew such oddities were not that rare. She took it in stride, head tilting as she leaned forward to prod the thing's chest. "Perhaps. But maybe you should introduce yourself first? It'd be weird to go on such a lovely date without first knowing who I'm accompanying~"

"Your name is Zepar? What a strong name for such a little thing! I love it! I'm Ivory, Ivory Volkov." She held out the tip of her finger near his bouncing legs, wondering if he'd take it with a talon and "handshake" her.

Out of the corner of her eye, she'd find an unknown figure on the ground, staring up Asgard's length until his eyes were met with she and the crow. Another feathered being landed on the figure's felid? shoulder, and it seemed to be distracted by it.

"Is that the one who sent you?" She indicated downward, and before the scarf'd bird could respond, she waved down at the creature. "Yo! Are you the one we're going on a date with?" She smiled, before smoothly hopping through the window and floating down to the bipedal creature.

It was an adorable thing: to have your finger held by an bird's small, cold grasp. She had gently wiggled her finger up and down, solidifying their encounter and to display her quiet respect toward it's sentience. When it was said and done and she had began to fly toward the bipedal feline, she'd find herself hesitating suddenly at the mutual, interval outbursts of the trio.

Apparently "Gato" was the feline-esque creature and they had not sent the crow, but was a Guild Master of an Organization called Mythos? She was paused mid-air as Gato stuttered and when the crow upon his own shoulder suddenly exclaimed her name.

They're trying to recruit me?

She stopped as the two-legged creature had requested, though she descended horizontally until she was upon the ground, so that he could indeed reach her. When he came to her, he'd find her face properly perplexed, but friendly. She had up until that point at least been along for the ride, but damn, they sure had acted dramatic. Maybe it was just the sound of a crow's talking voice that made it so, though?

She shrugged to herself, crimson twins dropping to the animal that was about ten inches shorter than her, give or take. "What's this about guild recruitment, Sir Gato? I thought Zepar just wanted a hunting buddy~?"

She eyed him curiously, noting his awkward mannerisms. Inelegant for a Guild Master, anyway. But she could see that he was trying and she found it endearing, especially coming from such an unusually cute creature! "They? The Crows?" She glanced toward Zepar who had fluttered down with her and had promptly landed upon her own shoulder, his scarf majestically flowing with the breeze. If the Crows had "promoted" him, who were pulling their feathered strings?

"Does that make them the real Boss? Haha! How interesting!~" She'd make a kissy face at the crow perched atop her should, much like she would toward a small puppy or kitten. "Crazed beast hunting birds and.. nekos? Eh? I wouldn't mind helping with that. A Phoenix fits into that oddly painted picture, after all, and it aligns with my general purpose. Do they command based on location or do they want you to be in a specific location at random times?"

Technical as she was, she had to know whether or not it would interrupt her Spear related duties. But given her newfound Spirithood, she imagined she could make due regardless, given that she could travel anywhere now without much.. actual travel. That and certain members of her guild had her key, so if they needed her at a given time, they could call upon her immediately.

Besides, how curious was this puzzle? She wouldn't be the yolo-living Ivory Volkov if she denied such an unusual mystery.

"Hmm." She contemplated a moment, attempting to conceptualize a way in which this was being operated by a shady person. But from the information thus far, the only requests the birds relayed were in relation to monster-hunting. That was already something she often participated in, so she could not fathom a misuse of that connection. Unless the birds were spies assessing an enemy's strengths and weaknesses.. but if that were the case, surely AJ would have a vision about it?

Yeah, they absolutely would.

"That sounds good to me, then. I wouldn't mind helping the world out further, it'd be nice to have my own personal monster messenger, anyways~"

She smiled at the furry bipedal, offering a hand out to greet him too, as she had not yet done so, "Nice to meet you, by the way, Gato. I think the shadow master of Mythos chose well in picking their guild master. You are a good face to have as a leader; personable if not a little awkward! Haha!"

Her mischievous smile warped though, sobering for a moment when and if he took her hand, "Fair warning though, I am first and foremost in allegiance with Odin's Spear. The Godfrey sisters are my only true Guild Masters, if their word ever goes against yours, it is theirs I will obey. But until or unless that happens, I will happily 'serve,'" her free hand made a mild quotation notion, "you and Mythos for the greater good, as well."

Ivory was in a pleasant mood, especially given that she was in the company of a crow doing a happy dance. It was quite heartwarming. When their handshake concluded and Gato agreed, she would be smiling, a clam air about her. "Ball, your Crow companion?" She had seen it fly off earlier; she wondered if it had returned to the "Shadow Master."

"Asgard is the tallest structure in Shale Town, you're free to visit it's height for said windy spot. I'll leave you to that, if you wish. Cats are solitary creatures, eh?"

"Ba'al, eh? These birds have interesting names. I wonder where they come from?" Despite the inquiry, she didn't wonder on it too long, especially given the cat's curious question about a feline's generally solitary nature. She supposed it made sense, though, given that he wasn't exactly a quadrupedal predator of small stature. Deciding to shrug it off, she'd nod at him. "Sure is. It's home of my guild, too. Can you get up there yourself or do you need help? I can spare some time, if you need assistance. If not, well!.. I guess, that's that?" She wasn't sure, honestly. Did the Crow have more things to say? Were there any rules she needed to know for Mythos? Did she have to make a pact? Take a tattoo? Or was agreement and delivery of a bird..  the whole process?
