Big ol' Nymphs [mission/ closed]

From the magical looking "ceiling" to the expansive glade, Salvatore could not, in light of the environment, summon his typical state of annoyance. It was the sort of place he wouldn't mind simply living in forever. Quiet and detached from mankind, it was a place he had always fantasized about -- minus the fairies. Yeah, he had glanced around as they moved forward, hoping to find winged creatures like himself, but there had been none. Just animals and other placid looking magical beings, like glowing wisps, gnomes and some unknown and fantastical critters he'd never laid eyes on before.
Following the makeshift path lead them to a ginormous tree, one larger than any building or natural construct he'd ever seen. When they'd been in the normal forest before, he was certain he hadn't seen such a tall tree in the distance -- which must've meant they were in a sort of pocket dimension of sorts, which also explained the odd barrier they had ran through to get here.
The rocks and vines began to shiver and shift, causing a downpour of leaves to fall over them. He saw Bonnie take a step back but he stood still, hands in pockets, watching with intrigue. The rocks reshaped themselves into two women-esque forms, a happy one beaming down at them while another seemed to glare -- an expression he could certainly identify with.
When they spoke he would realize that the animals had lead them here for a reason, but he was not sure of what.
He summoned a green-carpet made of fairy dust for his partner and bumped it at the back of legs, "Get on, let's go talk to them face to face." If she obliged, he would give her ride to follow him up as his dragonfly kin wings spread out behind his back and began to flutter, taking him up to eye level of the giant nymphs, but far enough to not make them cross eye'd.
"You expected us and the animals led us. What do you need from us, Nymphs? Are you looking for something in particular? If so, that would explain why these animals have been robbing the nearby village. Something you should surely stop, elsewise I won't be getting paid."

Bonnie felt like she was dreaming, the giant creatures before her were talking but she was struggling to understand. A green carpet of magic appeared once more, and now she actually had the time to crawl onto it and kneel down, trying to stay balanced as it floated up towards the ancient creatures. "Nymphs?" She muttered quietly after hearing the man, "I thought nymphs were tiny little things?"They both snickered, "All sorts of tales have been spun after the great calamity, and all sorts of knowledge has been lost." Shifting around under the roots of the tree and prison of stones, the more displeased one would turn her nose up at Salvatore, "Yes, fairy-born, we lead you here. Well, it was my sister, a̸̳̺͓̐͆̐̆p̵̗̮͉̰͇͒͛͜ǫ̶̠̱̝̀̎̀̚͝t̷̢̤̋h̴͉͓̝̠̉y̷̹̿͊̄̕̕ê̸͎͈̓̄̕s̴͍͌ idea anyway."Bonnie raised an eyebrow suddenly, when the name was mentioned, all she heard was the cries of an animal and rush of wind in her ears. It was impossible for her to know the words of their fae language, but to Salvatore, it would be loud and clear as water. "You can both see we're bound to this forest. We used to be free, part of nature itself. But the calamity has damaged much, and given us form, a form embedded in the trees and the earth. We cannot leave." She spoke, smiling softly as she did so, making it hard to tell if she was upset about it or not. "It get's so dull here, we miss humanity. We miss the conversations, the dancing, the food and clothes." She raised her giant hand up, vines falling off as she did so. A finger outstretched a little way off, to a small shelter made of vines that had piles upon piles of human belongings. Birds and animals would run over, picking up the trinkets before returning to the forest nymphs, adorning them in jewels and fine silks, placing breads and fruits on their lap and in their hair. It was nowhere near the right size, but they both seemed to enjoy it. "We just wanted a taste of it again," The other sister huffed, the grass changing colour to a more dark grey as she did, "We haven't done anything to harm anyone, just leave us be."

Salvatore stayed quiet until it was necessary for him to interject. Until then he watched the happenings as they unraveled. One being that the animals, upon will of the Nymphs, went to the small shack and retrieved various items to adorn upon the two, who had missed being apart of casual Earthland society. Apparently they were trapped here, in this dimension, bound forever.
Despite his general misanthropy, he couldn't imagine not having access to the outer world..
To be bound to these trees forever? Even he would eventually feel restless; and that was saying something, given he often preferred to be out among nature than among mankind.
Nonetheless...
"Haven't harmed anyone? Some people you've had animals steal from have damaged their livelihoods, to the point where they must essentially starve until they gather some other valuable item to trade."
He wasn't a fan of mankind, but he also wasn't a fan of seeing mankind's children starve, either.
"Maybe we can help you become free? That way you can get what you want and we can get what we want..?"

Feel free to uhm, reveal whatever secrets you want to reveal! Idk when/how you wanna do that xD I don't mind going past 10, obviously. Maybe not try to actively aim for 20 but, def don't mind going past 10 at least; whatever is natural to the story. (Post 9)

"Y- You can't steal things that aren't yours though." Bonnie spoke up, slightly afraid to talk to these divine beings. They seemed older, wiser, more powerful. She didn't feel like she had any right to speak up to them. The moment she said that, the two sisters looked at her, even the more joyous one narrowed her eyes. "'Steal'? Oh Angel of Doom, don't you realise this land was ours to begin with? The materials they use, the food they harvest. It's always been ours, we're not stealing anything." "It's rightfully ours." The other spat, a few trees cracking and splitting in half as she did so. Bonnie flinched at the sound of bark splitting, lowering her head in shame. "Ah, right. B- But these people have also worked hard for these things, and you're taking them without asking. H- Have you tried talking to them?" "Talking? They would not care for idle chit chat, humans are too simple minded to understand the old magic in today's world."No matter what she said, nothing seemed to work or sink in properly. "Wh- What if I ask? We can send the message to the nearby town of friendly forest spirits, and that you're the ones blessing them with such fertile lands and safe forests? I'm sure they'd be happy to repay you in clothes and jewellery." They both paused for a moment and looked at each other, the animals also seemed to communicate with one another in bird song and quiet grunts. "Perhaps... That may just appease us. It would be nice to see other inhabitants of this age too..."Smiling at their response, Bonnie clapped her hands with glee and cheered. "Y- Yes, they're very nice! They'd be delighted to come visit you both. I- If that's okay with you, I can head back straight away and let them all know. B- But I think it's best we return their things first, just to keep everyone happy to begin with, have a fresh start?"
