When Kasumi had arrived, Ivory had wiped out most of the Jackals, but not all. After having caught sight of the augmentation mage, Ivory lowered to the earth near her. "Just in time," she said, with hardened pools turned onto Kasumi, "One of them ran into a cave among the crags. Find him and bring him back to me alive." Her ebony tipped claw pointed in the direction the man had ran, but that was all the company she'd offer Kasumi. In a quick moment after she was back in the sky again, haven taken off in the opposite direction in hunt of the remaining survivors.

Seeing Ivory lowering herself down, Kasumi would make a beeline for her direction. Ivory was using the form she had shown her before, one that she would be sparring against next. Her eyes would follow the line of direction the underboss had pointed, giving her a slight nod in response. Once the demoness had taken off to the sky, the girl would make her way towards the cave, cracking the knuckles as she do so. No sound had announced her arrival...she was as silent as a phantom. The only thing the thug could see within the darkness were the violet iris glowing. He would raise his gun to fire but the bullets at her but to no avail. A slight tap towards his head left her reeling before Kasumi dragged the poor chap out of his hiding place.

The lavender-skinned underworld beast pursued it's remaining targets with efficiency. Her speed was sharp and her penetrating beams accurate. Yet she felt a dull ache in the background of her soul, troubled by the youngsters she had ended. There were times when diplomacy could win and slaughter could be avoided. Likewise, there was also times when it was unavoidable. This event was sadly was among those of the latter.
Biting back the internal commotion, Ivory would return to the center of the battlefield after her last target fell. There she would find Kasumi and a man rousing from unconsciousness. "Very nice, Kas. Doesn't look like he gave you much trouble." While the words spilled from her lips, she'd turn into her original form in the time it too for her to kneel in front of the defeated Jackal. "You are the sole survivor of this camp. Your crew took capture of a man from Odin's Spear and demanded payment. For this your people were punished. I've heard of your organization and I know this compound was not your main base. For this reason you remain alive. Because I want you to run home and tell your Boss what happens when you cross Odin's Spear."
She rose from her kneel and glanced toward Kasumi, "What do you think? Do you think our message will be received loud and clear, or are we missing something?"

While Ivory was busy showing the poor Jackals on why it was a bad idea to mess with their group, Kasumi stood at attention the whole time. Her eyes would be focusing on Ivory's body language, which for some reason did not speak of confidence that she was radiating before. It wasn't until Ivory was done that Kasumi would kicked the unconscious man sharply so as to rouse him from his slumber.
When Ivory delivered her warning, the man would nod the entire time as he did not dare to defy against them. In fact, the poor chap was trembling in fright that she half wondered if he would pissed himself. When asked on whether she would have anything further to add, Kasumi would take a moment to consider before she decided to shake her head in response.
"I think we're good Chief. They would have to be quite dense if they didn't get that the first time."
Her eyes would glare sharply at the survivor before she stomped her feet which caused him to turn around and flee in terror. Though her face remained neutral, one can see pure disdain reflected in her eyes. As soon as she lose her line of sight, she would turned towards Ivory.
"Let us head back Chief. Also when you have the time...we need to talk."
With that, she would began walking back towards where she had come from.

"They are already quite dense, surely they've heard of Odin's Spear before, yet they still defied us. But okay," she then watched as the man took off in response to Kasumi's stomping "shoo." When he was well out of earshot, Ivory's chest heaved and her mouth expelled a solemn sigh. Fortunately, Kas was there to temporarily distract her from the pestering guilt that tried to poke and prod at her, "Sure. Not now, though. When we return home and rest, I wouldn't mind having a chat tomorrow."
She followed her back to their original location, and along the way, subconsciously shifted back into the male form she had arrived in. The mission was a success, but it didn't feel like a total victory, and she needed the male cat's emotional numbing abilities to cope with that fact.
