Kasumi shot a dirty look towards the man at the nickname although she ultimately decided to ignore it. If they get caught because she let her temper flare and brawl with him inside the pigsty, dirty laundries were the least of her worries should she return to the guild. Pulling herself up, she wrung her hand slightly to get rid of the mud sticking to her gloves.
Another pig fall prey towards Orion's grasp, once more thrashing and squealing and flinging mud all over. Fortunately she was prepared this time...less so was her partner who get an eyeful of the thing. Her own mouth curled into a snigger, half contemplating that she could just let him be like that while hugging the pig. Which she would, if not time was of the essence. Fetching the flashlight that she drop earlier, once more the girl would direct the light into the ear to look for the mole.
"Not this one either. Let go of that pig already."
Wiping the mud from the wrist watch, she realized they barely have couple of minutes left. And there was no guarantee the thief would change shift right on the dot, as there was always a possibility that they may come sooner.
"Try this." Kasumi said as she spotted another heart shaped tattoo on the pig's posterior before holding it still. As she do, she began to wonder whether they would they be able to find the right pig in time...

Orion let out a quiet whoop as he spied the mark on the inner ear. It was Peppa alright, and even with his still blurry-eyesight, he was able to make-out the pristine-looking (as pristine as a pig in a pen can be) pig in comparison with the others. Noble and very intelligent creatures, the pigs were, but their cleanliness was something else entirely.
"Let's get out of here," Orion whispered, having heard the stirring of the man incapacitated just above them. He was coming to, and just in time. In a few minutes, they would be one less bargaining chip for their ransom, and possibly arrested as well, if they were not smart enough to evacuate the place before any form of authorities arrive.
With a glance, Orion asked, "Do you want me to hold her, or..." he trailed off, hiding a smirk as he espied the prim-and-proper looking young woman having been muddied through their mission.

Finally!
Third time the charm as they say and not a moment too soon. She can finally say goodbye to this hellhole they call a pigsty, return home by the fire to rest and drink a cuppa tea while the washing machine does her laundry. Nothing against farmers who enjoy this kind of lifestyle but there was only so much mud she can endure just for a fistful of jewels.
"Yeah, we better get going." Kasumi agreed, moving towards the exit. The groaning voice from the man prompt her to put haste in her step as she adjust her grip on the pig. Last thing she wanted was to let the bloody thing go and chase the creature all over again. When Orion offered to carry the pig, she shook her head slightly.
"I'm fine, more importantly are we going to carry this pig all the way to the client's farm?" she asked as she followed him. They were barely a few meters away when she heard rushed footsteps, the thief probably realized he had just got assaulted. After all it wasn't hard to put two on two together with his neck hurt and the missing flashlight when he was holding one before he got knocked out.

"Alright, let's get goin'" Orion took point, rushing out of the barn, not caring if they made a ruckus at this point. The already-waking thief had already called for his buddies, but they would not get there in time. No magic, and even less power, the gap between wizards and civilians was quite huge. And today, they were going to make this power-gap count.
Orion weaved his way out of the barn, and just to their right, he could see the decrepit house was busy and alive. The thieves, numbering three, had now been roused and were clamouring amongst themselves as they hurried towards the barn. They were slow from being woken so abruptly, and they carried some sort of weapon that looked to be pitchforks.
"We'll lose them once we get to the treeline," Orion started, his legs still taking him towards the hillside where the treeline was located, "then we'll take Peppa to her owner." George Langley, the owner, had been adamant about seeing his prized Peppa as soon as the rescue was done, and the client was always right.

Still carrying the pig, Kasumi dared to take a glance back towards her pursuers. Armed with pitchfork and shovel and all sorts of farming implement, the group yelled for them to stop and even call them thieves. The irony of the situation made her shake her head slightly as she follow Orion's advise to rush towards the treeline.
"We really need a vehicle next time!" Kasumi snapped as she ducked a rock that was thrown towards her. Even Peppa was wiggling in her grip clearly uncomfortable to be included in this chase. Fortunately the difference of magical ability allowed them to get to the treelines before the thieves, who made the error of trying to chase them down by foot.
Loosening her grip on Peppa slightly, once they are out of sight Kasumi simply nodded at the proposal to bring the pig straight to the farmer. It was proof of their job afterall and when they handed the pig over, the farmer expressed pure delight at their return. He even offered them to stay for the night at least to get rid of the mud. Graciously she would take the offer, if only because she didn't want rumors of her return trip due to the stench. Hopefully Orion would remember that he owe her a cut of his share of the reward.
