Bonnie did not start.
Topaz gave her a look plump with awe-struck anticipation. Though, what followed was just silence until Topaz was forced to break it.
“My turn, now!” He rubbed his hands together vigorously. He knew the game. It was a sexually charged game perfect for siblings; but what was it that Topaz would start off with? His thoughts were made as he rubbed his paws together.
“Hm!” He began, signifying something came to mind. “Never have I ever!” He rose a hand dramatically into the air. His index finger curled from the balled fist and pointed directly overhead towards the ceiling. Then, he brought it down and pointed towards, vaguely, everyone. It may have excluded, say, Bonnie because of inconvenient positioning.

"Oh come on! You plan on not letting me take a sip, don't you!" Orion cursed his luck. Was it even a question of whether he had ever gotten drunk. The answer was simple. Too simple.
He watched as a few people took a sip. Weaklings! There were a few members of the guild who only drank occasionally, and while Orion was a fan of making sure everyone had a good time, some people were just beyond his scope of influence. There were just a few who were too good for alcohol. Nobody was too good for alcohol.
"My turn!" Orion raised his hand. "Never have I ever..." he looked around, savouring the suspense as he glanced at each and every one of the members present, "uhhh...never have I ever...farted in the shower!" Orion grinned, not touching his beer willingly, which was something that never really happened.

Koji watched as Bonnie's face underwent a transformation from confusion, to concentration, then finally to dullness. The guild master arched an eyebrow. He would have said something if not for the fact that by now he was growing accustomed to Bonnie's peculiarities. Her silence was rescued by Topaz, who played with role with a dramatical flourish.
Koji would not have considered himself a worldly individual who possessed a myriad of experience; he mostly stayed in Rhyolite Village helping the inhabitants, rarely venturing out further. Except Topaz's statement disagreed with this assessment. Koji's bottle remained untouched by his lips. There were many a night, particularly after the death of Sylvia, when Koji had drunk himself to sleep. Given his hypocritical lecturing of Orion's own drinking problem, this was a secret Koji would have rather kept hidden. But alas, rules were rules. The bottle remained full.
At Orion's turn, Koji's pensiveness returned to amusement once more as he took a generous sip. "I was hoping that would explain why the shower stank after you used it." He said, grinning to Orion.
It was his turn. Koji paused for a moment, before announcing. "Never have I ever… kissed someone on the lips!"

Although she seemed to be frozen and unresponsive, her mind had drifted away from thinking about certain memories and was instead listening to everyone else. Had she been drunk before? Yes, the other day actually. She had drunk tea with a new blend which ended up having alcohol of some kind in it. Although it tasted delicious, it ended up with her half naked swimming through the river announcing the world was coming to an end. Thankfully, it was in a town far away and nobody had heard of it. Just some poor village boy that was on his way home from schooling. Had Bonnie farted in the shower? No, definitely not. That's not what ladies or knights do, she is much more hygienic than that. Then Koji asked if she had kissed someone before, to which she'd blink a few times and slowly turn her head towards him in confusion. That was the first movement she had made in a while, and it took a while to think of an answer. "Kiss someone?" She repeated, looking over at the fireplace. She touched her lips, and thought really hard. It was like she could remember the feeling, but not the memory or person. "I... Can't remember."

“I haven't done that, either,” Topaz muttered, looking contemplative as he focused on tidbits scattered about the past.
“I'll never get to sip this down!”
But it was his turn again. Bonnie's utterances gave him an idea. He smiled impishly as the thought donned upon him.
“Never have I ever...” he started just as dramatically as the last time. “forgotten if I've kissed someone!” He brandished his finger once more, accusingly , and pointed it directly at Bonnie Belle. |

It appeared that Cait Shelter would be full of bachelors and bachelorettes. Koji's whiskers twitched in amusement.
At last, Koji was to take a sip of his alcohol, driven by Topaz's latest statement. As the alcohol burned its way down his throat, the feline felt pleasantly dazed.
"I think it's about time we turn in for the night." He announced, punctuating his statement with an exaggerated yawn. With that, he pulled off his jacket and moved towards the crackling fireplace where he curled up in a tight ball to gently doze off.

Bonnie gasped as Topaz pointed his finger at her, purposely trying to make her drink with something she just revealed she had done. "Whaaaat? So unfair!" She mumbled, before looking around for a drink. She hadn't even started one, and trying to focus on anything was just too difficult. Instead, she took a sip from a glass of water, smirking as she did so. Bonnie yawned when Koji mentioned finishing up, "Ah, uh, yeah... I'm actually... Kinda sleepy." She held a hand over her mouth and yawned again, rubbing her eyes and getting more drowsy by the second from the heat of the fire place. "I'm just gonna nap here, yeah."

Topaz was greatly satisfied with how things were going - had gone. Interest waned in the game and people acquired a greater interest in turning in for the night.
"Yeah, I guess I could do that too," he agreed and he looked about. Everyone was content with nodding off right where they were. He decided to claim a piece of furniture that was unoccupied, foolishly so, and leaped up into it.
"Got the good chair and everything!" he announced, likely both going uncontested and unheard. Then he faded from existence... and fell asleep. |
