OST, ft. Ivory & Kasumi
Oct 8, 2019 2:25:52 GMT
"...Remember this Aneue?"
Ivory burst into flames just as the woman spoke, her original form taking the lycan's oversized place. She did this to flash an amused and notably proud grin at Kasumi, akin to what an older sister might actually toss toward their amazing younger sibling. Kas had achieved and surpassed her expectations; she could feel the energy in the air the split second it skyrocketed — it was astounding. She knew if she let her magical fortification down that it could even possibly blow her apart, but she withstood it, denying her cruel impulse to prank the woman to a horrific level.
Instead she was blown back, pain reverberating throughout her entire body as she jet across the arena and slammed into the scrapmetal wall of the crumbling warehouse. She bounced off it; her magical reinforcement being the only thing between her and a body full of shattered bones. She lay on her stomach now, her breath heavy and fluctuating. Out of the desire to see Justice — as it was foretold — she managed to force herself around, slumping onto her back, an arm stuck behind her, incapable of putting energy back into it to drag it out from beneath her.
If Justice waited too long her vampiric constitution would mend her. But how was Kasumi? She shifted her head to glance over the many yards between them now, wondering if the lavender-maned being was still standing after that self-destroying ability. She knew that power was a double edged blade. And had she been anywhere else... it'd of been unwise to use it to such a wild extent.
Tsk. She still has some things to learn.
How fun, though.

In a way, it mirrored flicking on a light. Faster than the eye could both blink and process the movement, the Godfather appeared adjacent to Kasumi. For the time being, Justice did nothing. The only thing that passed was a simple articulation. In Kasumi’s fleeting moments of consciousness, she wove her words out of venomous ice.
”See you next round, Kasumi.”
Without looking in her direction, the woman—who maintained a form reminiscent of herself than her twin—walked in the direction of her bestial lover. Expression twisting into anguish, not enjoying the sight of her in such a state, she hurried her pacing by appearing before her in another unseen blur.
Lowering her gaze to the ground for a moment, she cast her gaze towards the ceiling.
”My Ivy…”
Eccentric for a vampire, light began to overtake the building with herself as the origin. Veins engorged with the blood of the supreme God, she tapped into as much power as possible. An ability called Apotheosis served one purpose; to channel her power in such extravagance that it elevated her to the status of a Goddess.
Her hair turned alabaster white, while both eyes assumed the familiar glow with dark accents. Four wings comprised of divine energy manifested behind her back, their appearance angelic. A waterfall of light wreathed her form as her extended aura washed over the whole of Shale Town. Wind coasted around her from the sheer might she summoned, causing her then snowy locks of hair to billow in their embrace.
”I love you.”
After her soft words, she knelt next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Whatever she pilfered from another wizard seemed to be anti-magical in nature, and brought Ivory back to her original form. Scooping her into her arms, she flickered in another burst of speed to the roof of the warehouse.
”I never knew how I should repay you for your loyalty, your kind soul, and even your love,” Justice started, even her own skin being bleached white from her colossal infusion of godly power. It made the subtle fall of her tears difficult to discern.
”You’re such a loveable goofball, an unparalled warrior, and a saviour of this blighted world. You’re the type of person who, whenever you go anywhere, you resolve to always leave it better than it was before. And you’ve succeeded. Now, I will evoke the power of my blood to do as the Gods of yore have done before me. I will place you into the sky with all the other heroes. No more hunger, no consequence of death, you will always be a saviour and protector of our world until the end of time. And I’ll be with you every step of the way.”
Runic markings, whiter than the bluish white her body became, wrapped around Justice’s body akin to tattoos. Channeling every drop of power she could muster for her next action, she began to focus it into Ivory’s body. Through her holy Magic, she elevated her vibration to a higher realm. The light shone through Shale Town with enough intensity to sear the eyes of those who stared at it too long—for though she caused no damage, her light challenged the intensity of the sun itself.
”…See you in three days, Ivy. Rise and be reborn as the Phoenix, the legend whose flames symbolize the life you have loved and protected for all your years.”
Leaning in, she pressed her lips against the other woman’s—and changed her form into light. It ascended into the sky faster than the eye could see, and for a fleeting moment, the stars comprising the constellation Phoenix were tethered and emphasized by a white line. Her ascension into a Celestial Spirit was a success.
The Godfather disappeared as well—to the preparation room where she intended to ready herself for the next bout. Kasumi Ito Ivory Volkov | Post 1

Before Kasumi could drop to the ground, she was caught by another spectator. The strawberry blonde laced her arms around her, before shifting her position to cradle her in her arms. Her expression seemed impossible to decipher at first, her phantasmal glow diminishing after several moments.
Honey orbs turning towards the violet-haired woman’s face, her lips curled into a small smile.
”You did it. Good job, Kassie,” she said, burning the life energy of the souls residing within her to heal her injuries. When she spoke, she made sure to bypass consciousness with her eccentric abilities and let her voice resonate through whatever dream Kasumi experienced. Enveloping her in an eerie glow, over the next while the damage she suffered would be assuaged back to perfection.
Sacrificing the souls of the damned to rejuvenate her lover, she brought her arm under her knees and hoisted her up. With feral pupils and crimson eyes, she glared knives in the Godfather’s direction, before vanishing in an abrupt blur to whatever served as a lobby for the event. Kasumi Ito Ivory Volkov | Post 1

OST, ft. Ivory & Kasumi

There was no one standing in front of her fist. It took the purplette a moment before she realized that her sister had been blown away by that strike. That would explain the crashing sound she had heard in the distance. Kasumi had caught a glimpse of her sister's face upon seeing that she cannot dodge the strike...one not of anguish or surprise but pride. Thus there was no need for her to force herself to act anymore.
To an outsider view, the mage did not budge even a single inch after that strike. It was as if she had been frozen in time save for the flames that was burning her body. A closer look revealed that light had completely faded in her eyes. She had spent almost every single bit of her energy to deliver that attack and now that pain had began to settle in, it was too much for her mind to endure. A venomous voice could be heard in the distance. One that promised great retribution unto her. Were she capable of thought she would have responded but by then everything had turned black.
As if time have resumed it's flow, the purplette wavered before she collapsed though down to the floor. If not for Berry's timely arrival, she would have probably slammed head first onto the floor. Unlike the vampiress that held her or the one she had blown away, Kasumi had no regenerative power. Thus it was a stroke of fortune that her favorite healer was by her side. With her skill, it was as if her wounds werebut mere illusion. And her spoken words resounded within her, banishing the nightmare that plagued her sleeping moment. Even unconscious, she would leaned into Berry as if her body subconsciously recognized the one that held her.
